Mia is a sad daughter trying to prove herself to her parents especially after getting embroiled in an embarrassing mess in law school. She has always been the middle child who wants to prove something. Meanwhile, Ely is suffering from a heartache and he carries more baggages than he lets on. I wouldn't classify this as a romcom. Then here comes Mia who wanted to prove herself to her family (she's been scammed that someone would actually help her) that's why she pretended that she work in Barcelona as a professional which is not the truth just to prove that she is something without her family. Then she accidentally bumped into ely which ely thought that she was celine (look-alike) until ely help mia to find a job in Barcelona and they ended up falling inlove but ely can't get over celine until mia decided to leave Barcelona and go home to the Phil then finally be able to face her family then say sorry then she stayed there to work until ely realizes that he loves mia but before that, he goes to celine's house and talked to her parents to say sorry and thankyou and that he's finally letting celine go and that he loved mia. Then happy ever after
