I wept at this song because it so reminded me of my own grandfather. My grandfather was a Korean war Morse code operator who spent the majority of the war in Japan playing ping-pong. My mother died and left my sister and me with our grandparents. I could feel the emotion in this song because the story is so familiar to me.
