In the K5 hand you know he’s supposed to block small river with 7x hands here and some bluffs too. I think it’s hard to find what better hands we would have also to call flop raise then check back turn. Only need to be right 1/4 times with the price and it’s chip road pot and only 4bb. Think we gotta put in the chip there he has 57 and 67 etc in that check raise flop range
Knew the K5 would be a controversial one so made sure to keep it in. I wouldn’t really ever expect to see his 7x block for that sizing on the river given the stack sizes at that point and especially after I call to his flop raise (i’d also expect his 7x flop raises to be more limited). I think given the prior action/stack sizes/FT/opposition I’d generally expect to see a X or even smaller block bet on the river. I think perhaps I should have considered more about other potential bluff candidates that may play this way such as 68s but yeh i’m always the first to admit mistakes and whilst I don’t think I played the hand optimally i’m happy to have gone with my read in the spot even if it looks like a slam dunk call
@@SprasesAces yeah it’s close call either way his raise is random for sure so I think he has to have A lot of bluffs here the raise check line looks a lot weaker too. Well okayed on the KQ fold that was a spot I’d probably call and lose in but your reasoning was good
I checked the spot he is supposed to check raise flop with all the 65, 75 , even some 85 etc and some QJ JT. Anything that wraps around the board. On river after your turn check he’s supposed to value bet all 7x and bluff the rest QJ etc if he has those.
Yeh I can’t see what a jam ever achieves given the situation at an FT. And whilst Meuhloecker is a top top player I do think a spot like this is particularly underbluffed compared to gto hence why I made a nitty fold as I just felt he had more value bets that beat me compared to his bluffs but yeh of course I could have been wrong and yeh i agree a call can’t ever be bad in this spot. I’ll see if I can find out what he had.

A shove is good with 66 but the EV gain is probably minimal with ICM so a fold isn’t going to be terrible and against a tight player i’d suggest it. But in this hand the button ended up 3 betting so I had a snap fold with the 6’s
I really like how you play and im at your same stake but that k5o Iso was strategically wrong vs such a strong player at that depth. Even the flop cb pretty superficial
I agree I don’t think it was played optimally, similarly perhaps to the 54s hand which I don’t think I played great.. but check my response to madwithoutit as i have responded more in detail👍
gg literally turning everything into a bingo, imagine the ammount of variance this adds to the poker player, the guy has a chance of winning 200 bi'ns in one hand, this is ridiculous, im a cash game player, and for me its already stupid to have to play avg of 1 million hands to hit a jackpot.
Tbh i’ve ran extremely well in mystery bounties and I think they make more interesting videos but I have to agree to an extent. It’s good to have some mystery bounty tournaments now and again but GG have started changing more and more of their tournaments to MB’s because it evens out the playing field and makes it more difficult for pro’s to establish a consistent winrate. So yeh I agree with you but I still play them and have ran well in them so I don’t really have a leg to stand on in the issue
@@SprasesAces i did run well as well, i played about 1.5 milion hands on gg and i hit jackpot a few times already, but, i know that tournament players can play an entire year without winning, i saw this on sharkscope even, a guy playing for 2 years BE and then winning a million dollars, now, with this variance added up, is like, having a spin n go on top of the tournament variance, it indeed for sure make they have waaaaaay more recreational players, but, idk if a human can play enough to beat the variance.
Every Game i play on GG its like: played 5h come sooo close to the FT: hey hello *the Big stack shoves 89s*. i sit there with AA and now i have to call and also know its over now. Players jam pre 100bb with 56s, they win tournaments....
Well of course i know it would be a gto call. But I think his only worse value bet for that size is K3 given all the circumstances, his 7x raises should probably block smaller especially given his stack. But it’s true there are some flop raises such as 68s that woulr play this way for sure that would justify a call i just felt this spot would rarely be bluffed
AT hardly seems tough, the EV of his bounty is like $8k, need plenty of ladders for that pay jump and you said you think he's willing to make out of line shoves

13:46 - what happened with pocket 66 in that hand? Was that a 3bet shove? Or in ICM/FT scenarios, it's just a fold?
A shove is good with 66 but the EV gain is probably minimal with ICM so a fold isn’t going to be terrible and against a tight player i’d suggest it. But in this hand the button ended up 3 betting so I had a snap fold with the 6’s
please next time don't spoil that the bounty is still in play at the ft because it ruins all other bounty spots you get before that.

I hope so! Cheers
The 5 4s is a shove on the turn. The 3bb bet makes no sense.... you're pricing him in with everything. Nice run though
The intention was to fold out pocket pairs but i have to agree with you here, i think the best isn’t optimal:)
The A10 call was insane..i wouldt shit my pants! And it holds, so satisfying! Poor runout on the final, but nice video indeed!
