Just wanted to thank you for bringing me back to guitar!!!

@@marinmusic I've honestly lost my mind on the tuning part. I've never in my live spent an hour to tune my guitar. bonus points for me because of not having a capo and making it out of stuff i had. it was something
if you guys are struggling with the first picking, you can actually pluck the strings in order. if you tuned the guitar right, the third (or i guess 9th) fret of the d string should be the same note as the open g string when you have the capo on.
Many online guitar teachers make the process learning of songs really boring by just throwing you the tabs and that’s it. TYSM STUART
Discovered this song 25 minutes ago, learned, loved and laughed and now I know it! Thanks man!
this is like a month or two late but you have the exact energy i want to go for when learning the guitar, both your short tiktok lessons and these longer videos are so fun to watch and have gotten me back to learning the guitar. bit of a long comment but really appreciate these man
This is so exactly the reaction I’m always hoping for! So happy you’re having fun continuing to play, and I will definitely keep them coming!!!
Bros actually a legend for this video
thanks stu. your teaching is so easy to understand. I was able to learn the entirety of 16 Mirrors and now The Bug Collector all because of you!:)
Dude those are two hard ones! Nice!
Thanks Stuart! I managed to play this to my classmates and they were impressed. Keep up the good work!
You are the best teacher in the solar system, just learned my first song thank you Stuart.
You are the absolute best. This is one of my favorite songs and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for this tutorial ❤️
Best ending to youtube lesson video ever. ❤
I get pretty wiped out by the end…
Loving the cool pastor energy
Second video from you that I've watched. You had my attention from beginning to end. You take time to take us through every little part, with much patience and above all (!) humor. Thank you so much. I'm a big fan and I will keep coming back for more lessons. I was waiting for a youtube guitar teacher like you :)
Yay!!! So happy to have you here, and I’ll see you in the next lesson!
Keeping track of my spot! 13:00
15:21 20:27 22:26 24:01v 26:00 29:11 34:18 ok i finished! 🎉
it's so beautiful I'm gonna cry 😭😭😭
It sounds like just the song too! Thank you for this!
Welcome for it!
god i love this guy sm 😭
Came across you while trying to find a tutorial for this song and just wanted to say you made a seemingly impossible song to learn fly by in such a short amount of time! You’re so enthusiastic and genuine and I love that so thank you Stuart! :)
I am so glad!! Let me know how you are doing on it after a few days of practice!!! 🥳🤩🤪🤝
I've pretty much mastered it and I even picked up some subtle details in the song that I added to my playing to make it better
I rarely ever play my guitar nor have I ever finger picked before. I just learned this entire song in the span of about 24 hours. Best tutorial I’ve ever watched I laughed through the whole thing
wow i’ve loved this song for a long time and i thought it’d never make sense to me, but you’re such a great teacher! thanks for this video, everything makes so much sense and i’ve been able to figure it out
So glad! It is pretty doable once you break it down and spend some time with it!!
one of the best tutorials i've ever watched tysm!!!
Wow, thank you so much!
you're funny dude - this is my kinda lesson. Thanks very much. Love jamming this one.
i love this man you are a GENIUS!!
🐜
0:15 i like that you can get so into a song with a pretty complex picking pattern, i aspire to be this good
Once you get the flow going, the complexity of the picking isn’t a problem!
I found your tutorial for Sparky Deathcab's "September" last week, which inspired me to seriously sit down and practice guitar for the first time in almost a decade. When I was learning guitar as a kid, I thought I'd never be able to do any sort of plucking/ fingerpicking, but the way you've broken it down is so easy and encouraging. I'm so thankful that I can now play the pattern of both that song and this one!!! I'm even going to buy my first full sized guitar next month so I can stop using my old 3/4 scale. Just wanted to thank you for bringing me back to guitar!!!
I really apreciate your time for doing this video
It was a pleasure!
Explaining so well while being so chaotic is a talent! 👍🏻✨ new sub
you are such a fantastic teacher. Never in a million years thought I’d be able to play this song, stumbled upon this by chance and I am amazed at what you were able to teach me to do!
I am so glad!! It’s super fun to play, right?!?
@@marinmusic I've honestly lost my mind on the tuning part. I've never in my live spent an hour to tune my guitar. bonus points for me because of not having a capo and making it out of stuff i had. it was something
@@marinmusic so fun! Thank you so much. You have a gift :)
@@selflofrhow did u tune😢
@@anidaklasisvideoebi i personally tuned by ear, but there's lots of apps you can find to tune ur guitar, just search up guitar tuner!
if you guys are struggling with the first picking, you can actually pluck the strings in order. if you tuned the guitar right, the third (or i guess 9th) fret of the d string should be the same note as the open g string when you have the capo on.
New favorite Channel to learn more songs. I couldn’t stop laughing ! So helpful !
Yay! Thank you!
I’m saying yay a lot today
This guy is the goat of teaching music
THIS HELPED ALOT YOUR A GREAT TEACHER
Aw shucks thanks
Many online guitar teachers make the process learning of songs really boring by just throwing you the tabs and that’s it.
You really make it fun to learn, and leave me with a feeling that makes me want to keep learning, I saw another comment saying “this wasn’t just a lesson, it was an experience” and I really think that too.
Thanks :]
Solid gold. I came for the song but stayed for the ride. Refreshingly authentic and totally engaging.
😁😁😁
This lesson was everything I wanted!
I had zero prior experience to guitar before learning this but omg I learned it 🤞
