From the debut song 'Bad Girl' to the second mini album title song 'Pretty Pretty'! Ladies code rose as the best rookie girl group of 2013, and they are releasing their 2nd digital single [So Wonderful] on February 13th.
'So wonderful' is a song where you can see the colors of ladies code as you did in 'Bad Girl' and 'Pretty Pretty', and you can also see their cute sides and chic sides at the same time. Also, this is a song where they are also sexiness and charms are their maximum.
They are going to show their fancy performances they've always shown, and they are also going to give the joy of listening to a punk and groovy song from a band. It will also satisfy the charms of watching them as well.

Ladies code was asked about the comparison to WG and this was their reply
"We feel very honored by the fact we're even being compared. The Wonder Girls are our role models because they were the 'nation's girl group' loved by everybody regardless of gender or age. I think there are a lot of people comparing us because we brought mic stands to the stage in order to create a 1980s atmosphere. Rather than feeling disappointed by the comparison, we strongly feel a desire to become a girl group that receives love from a lot of people like our Wonder Girls seniors."
NO shame! they said clearly that they where trying to create a 1980s atmosphere and wondergirls didn't invent that so its not copying its just two girl groups that picked the same time period and theme, Nothing wrong with that.

Just because LADIES' CODE uses mic stands doesn't mean they copied WG's "Nobody". WG doesn't own the concept and any KPOP artists can do it but not copying the song and dance moves. LADIES CODE did a good job here and showing they still can shine even as rookie without using 19 rated sexy concept

IWantMyVisionBack yes. it was a very tragic car accident. two out of five passed away.Out of the rest three, one was seriously injured and her situation was critical but fortunately she handled it well and is okay now. the other two were barely injured. The two that passed away were RiSe and EunB. EunB passed away while rushing to the hospital and RiSe passed away 3 days later, after going through an 11 hour long surgery...

Yep, I looked it up and remember the picture of the totaled van vividly. Are there any KPop stars that died tragic deaths in the past 10 years or so? I believe I read an article where there were more instances where KPop stars passed away tragically.
Also do you know when was the last time they saw their families? As I have heard that Kpop stars can go years without seeing their families.
Man, why is the industry so gruesome? In the US it seems celebrities have more free time, can see their families etc. And so many of these Kpop Stars choose the entertainment route from very young ages.
I think Kpop fans need to stand up against the harsh treatments these Kpop stars have to endure. And with so many KPop groups I doubt they are bringing in a good amount of money.

IWantMyVisionBack There have been some Kpop artists that passed away from tragic car accidents but those are the old ones which most Kpop fans don't know about nowadays. There was also an accident of the famous group Super Junior which was reallyyy dangerous for the maknae of the group(KyuHyun) cause he went to coma and was about to have surgery that could affect his voice(He has one of the most beautiful voices ever in Kpop) but thankfully the surgery was prevented by his dad (his dad said that his kid cannot survive without singing) and Kyuhyun could survive even without the surgery on his vocals.
I remember the last time I saw Ladies' Code's interview, they talked about how excited they were to go and see their families after a long time during the Chuseok holidays. However, the accident happened a few days before Chuseok and it reallyyyy broke my heart to the point I cried for them more than 10 times. The accident also happened on one of the girls' birthday T^T (the one who was in critical situation but survived, Sojung). It was so tragic... It might sound too emotional but their company said that after she got conscious, she asked those around her about the reason they're all wearing black(cause of the death of RiSe and EunB).. then without getting any answer she started crying and stayed quiet.
In Korea the singers really work much much harder than those in other countries... and it's not good. Some months ago one of the Kpop idols (Ze:A's Lee Hoo) decided to stand up against his company and the whole system of the Kpop industry but he failed. He said that he was slapped and mistreated by his CEO and that he has evidence against the company not paying them the money they've earned. But it turns out that the CEO has apologised and Lee Hoo suddenly decided to stay quiet... no one knows what happened behind the scenes :(

And wow, I can't believe it happened on one of their birthdays and a couple days before they were supposed to see their families.
I'm only twenty years old so to see people pass away so young is really something.

Another solid release. Seriously, one of the few rookies from the recent wave of girl groups that I've been following closely since debut and everything they've put out so far has been amazing. Do well! Hope they get some recognition since Soshi and 2NE1 are coming back in 2 weeks.
These rookies are so smooth, they deserve more attention ^_^

I totally agree with both of your opinions. This song was so smooth and the concept was very fresh and welcoming. Its not overly sexual and the vocals were well put together. I'm so happy that they released another song!
ImanInternational Ladies' Code are fairly popular for rookies so I think that's why they haven't gone off into the hyper sexual concepts we're seeing lately. But they're also consistent. Like if you just played me the beat and no vocals, I could tell you this was a Ladies' Code song because they have this kind of signature sound. I think that's what most rookies failed to establish right away so they go all over the place with their comebacks but Polaris did a good job doing that with the girls.
These girls deserved greatness and success and all the happiness. I can't believe this happened to them. They didn't deserve any of it. I love them. So wonderful :)
Let's be honest, the only reason why people are comparing this to the Wonder Girls's Nobody is because of the microphones. It's not like the Wonder Girls even own the use of microphones just because they used them in literally ONE MV.
All these haters are just WG stans upset that the Wonder Girl's still haven't had a comeback.
Anyway, good job Ladies' Code! A stunning MV, which has come to be expected from a group like you. Stunning vocals that fit perfectly with the concept of your new comeback.
Seriously!!!!! WG is pretty much done as it is; I feel bad for Yubin and Yeeun (and Lim though she was my least fave) since Sohee wants to act and Sunye peaced out to have a family (I don't blame her though). People who like certain groups always just want to find ways to bring other groups down when nobody owns any concept. This is getting almost as bad as the SONE comments on 9Muses videos....
banamana Actually... I read somewhere that this song was made by the same producer for WG's "Tell Me". In fact during Ladies' Code's previous single "Pretty Pretty", some WG members already commented the similarities that song had to "Tell Me" and even welcomed it as it brought back nostalgia. "So Wonderful" already sounds like it could have been sung by WG or even Miss A, and the mic stands and some of the dance moves totally make it like a homage. Many groups have tried to emulate WG, but none have done it this well with quality whilst retaining their own charms! It's like they're becoming the new WG of this idol generation, and I quite like them.
Jeremy Max JYP didn't produce this song lol. The same producer that produced LCs other work did this. JYP did everything for WG back when Tell Me was a thing. I don't think there's anything wrong with seeing similarities but it's annoying when people try to say a group is 'bad' just because there are similarities. I actually get a Miss A vibe more than WG from this; but it's definitely a Ladies Code song - they have a style that you can tell is uniquely theirs. I can see them blowing up pretty big too but I don't like the WG comparison; it's like saying anyone is the 'new SNSD' - most top groups have unique qualities about them that can't be replaced; only poorly ripped off (I don't care for Sistar for instance, but the amount of "Alone" rip offs in the last two years are ridiculous and shows that the song can't be replaced).
banamana The person who produced this song is a JYP in house producer who occasionally will work with artist outside of JYPe.
AJJellyBean I didn't know he worked for JYP - I guess he also did stuff with APink in the past too; what I meant was PARK JINYOUNG (JYP himself not the company) was the producer for WG's hits throughout their height of popularity, so maybe it was an homage, but it wasn't the same person.

I haven't been much of a Ladies' Code fan, but with the overuse of the "sexy concept", I greatly appreciate them for not trying to be overly sexy. The song is great too. And the singing/dancing with microphone stands is bringing back the Wonder Girls feel.

When someone says they are not a fan it's only to show that love and support is far greater than Ladies' Code fan base alone. I didn't know K-pop existed until I read the girls had died. Now I am a forever fan. What a lovely, talented group of ladies. Simply amazing. It's heart breaking two are gone and three have the pain of going on. My heart goes out to them. I hope they find the strength to continue with their music. : (
Even if their title songs as 5 members are not sad songs, i always get that feeling when listening to them, especially this song, RiSe and EunB will remain in our hearts forever, same for Ashley, Sojung and Zuny, stay strong!

I like this song! is wonderful, Porque la gente es tan ... , si usan micrófonos quieren imitar a Wondergirls, si se ponen ropa de piloto (Taxi) es SNSD (con referente a Nine Muses); ningún vestuario y menos objeto es propiedad de un grupo, como dicen: uno puede tener la misma idea pero siempre se modifica haciéndolo de uno.

I still cry every time I think about two of them being gone and Sojung so badly hurt. Then the accident at the concert with 4Minute performing which was my first group I discovered in KPOP. Jessica being kicked out...
All of this has brought me such happiness and fun for the last two years and now it feels like my heart is being ripped out on a monthly basis.

Hace un poco más de un año, solía ver un canal coreano (Arirang) que lo pasaban en mi tv por cable... siempre hacían presentaciones de los singles los cantantes, y grupos kpop, vi varios que me gustaron, este fue uno de ellos, pero no sabía el nombre, después de casi un mes de buscar las encontré y descargué dos canciones de ellas. Vengo hoy a buscar musica de ellas para poder saber más sobre ellas como artistas y personas, y me ha dolido el corazón horriblemente cuando me entere de que dos de estos talentos, se han perdido. He llorado mucho aún así no las conocí tanto como quería, y justamente cuando quiero verlas de nuevo, se han ido... RIP RiSe, RIP Eunb... Gracias por tanto y perdón por tan poco y por llegar a apoyarlas tan tarde. 😔💔😭
RiSe and EunB are in much better place, i honestly believe that with all my heart and i believe they are happy and looking after their loved one and though they maybe gone...their memories and the beautiful songs they left behind will always be here and bring joy and emotion to those that hear it. smile and sing to your hearts content wherever you two are and I hope the other 3 members recover and find peace.
To this day, this is my favorite Ladies' Code song. It gives me a beautiful feeling of nostalgia, I just love it.

I can still remember the first time I heard this song.... I was waiting for my favourite group to make an appearance at the end of 'Music Bank'. I saw their performance that day... I found their song catchy and they can dance a little. I remember telling myself: They might not be as famous as SNSD in the future, but they might be popular in the future. Still can't believe something as terrible as that happened. Worst tragedy in Kpop history... #RIPEunB #RIPRiSe

Okay, when this song came out i was 14. I fell in love with the song.My sister got me into kpop and i was sorta brainwahsed into daying that i like all the music that she likes and i never said that i liked a song that she disliked. When this song came out i loved it and my sister didnt really like it, i listened to this everywhere and all the time. I some came attracted to the actual group and the soon became my Bias group very quickly. After seeing all their popularity after EunB and my biases, Rise, death is crazy. I'm so proud to see so many people loving the girls who have been in my heart the whole time. RIP EunB and Rise. I hope they are happy in heaven watching other the 3 other members 💜 I hold my tears back all the time to prevent thinking of the times when they werent popular and i loved them so much. I wish i could today but it doesnt feel the same. 😭 I still support Ladies Code as 3 though, but Ladies Code will always be 5 in my heart.

I cant believe this was released on my birthday!...the day i turned 16 was the day this song was shown to the public. maybe if i was paying attention to the new uploads of 1thek during that day i would have seen this. the song is wonderful thats for sure and so is the video.

SO after being on AKF (antikpopfangirl) and reading a specific comment i came back to watch this for like 3 times and then watched "Nobody" by WonderGirls to see if there is actually anything to compare .........
that being said ..... YES Nobody is like an 80's styled song, but i swear if they put out an SO WONDERFUL Dance Version ... you can see that parts of the dance does actually mimic Nobody, not just the mics but specific counts from the Nobody routine .... Then the anni is this month plus this song is named after the WG Fandom "Wonderfuls" they could be saying "I'm So Wonderful" as saying im a fan since you know the group will never be the same and might not even put out anything new ...

I really.. miss wondergirls, I was a wonderful ;-; but I gave up to sistar. This is great to see after the inactivity wondergirls has had, Sohee leaving wondergirls and sunye being pregnant etc. I'm glad we have this + Sunmi's album including Yubin and Yenny with it and Lim's instagram updates.
yeah, people need to learn the difference between a music genre and a group's specific style. it's crazy how uneducated about music some k-pop fans are, like they think that k-pop alone has somehow created every type of music there ever was.
