Hi, I just came from the ziwipets freeze dried food for ferrets video you made on RUclips I was wonder which one do I get I know the ones for cats but there’s a lot to choose from like lamb, mackerel, beef I do not know which one I am planing to get a ferret but I want to get everything ready before I do.
Hi! I’m just wondering if it’s normal for ferrets to sigh like a human. Like a “hmmp” sound paired with breathing out. It’s identical to the human sigh.
You forgot to cover 3 ferret sounds: 1. The super-scream (because you already used the term "scream") - the unbelievably loud "AAAAAHHHH!!!!" sound ferrets make when they are in intense fear. 2. Baby ferret noises. You know, when kits go "Bweeh! Bweeh! Bweeh!" 3. The super-fast breath(?) noise that goes "Hehehehehehhe". My deaf ferret does this instead of dooking.
Haha ‘superscream! Walking my lad up the road and I trod on a stick and it snapped. Gave me a fright. Never heard such a scream… people walking 100 metres down the road turned around in fright!
I just started working at an animal shelter and this video has been so helpful to give me a better understanding of the ferrets and their behaviour! I was worried that them backing up was a sign of fear, but now I know they’re just initiating playtime! Thank you for such an informative video :))
My two little ones only scream when they are sound asleep and dreaming, and when we first got them, I had no idea that ferrets could even scream. So you can imagine how terrified I was when I heard screaming coming from the room they sleep in at night, I thought they were dying! Nope they were fine and snuggling and very perturbed I had woken them up.
In the 80s we called dooking chuckling. Not sure I agree about the dominance thing. With mine over the years, there was always a "boss"...usually the oldest. Another thing that is rarely mentioned...the joy of elderly ferrets. By about 4, they will still play but are mellowing out...older than that, they become really chill and just want to hang out with you. They will always adjust their schedule to yours. Ferrets are incredibly in tune with their owners. This is when you get all the cuddles you were wanting when they were young and busy. Ferrets are the best. Just make sure you have a decent amount of cash set aside for vet visits. They will be the best friends ever.
I had a ferret dumped on my porch July 4/5 overnight, but now, 72 hours later, he did his first weasel war dance for me, hes not vocalizing yet, but he is definately starting to adjust to living here, getting bolder and more tenacious by the day
I have done so much work and i hope my parents will get me two from the shelter u are the only fertet youtuber that i watch u have helped so much wish me luck
Wow! Answered a lot of questions I’ve been having! My ferret will get under the foam mattress topper and the actual mattress then furiously scratch the foam off. I do keep her in my bedroom which is really large and I’m almost always in here as well. ( mini living room area in the bedroom) So you’ve given me some great tips on how to try and stop that behavior. Great video!
I was listening in because my ferret was making a new sound when he made his way into the bag of food, and was curious what it meant. I love to hear some confirmation on how happy he is with our play and cuddling.
i was playing with my ferret the other day & he was wagging his tail like crazy. it was so cute and made me so happy. also my ferret hisses while playing instead of dooking
Don't forget "flat ferret". When they are kind of bored of you don't let them do something. They suddenly just lay flat on the floor for seconds and then they jump up again and try again. I love the duking sound when they play. If they scream a little when playing one should pay attention to that not becoming too loud, that can be one of them in more pain than what's "normal" .
Thank you so so so much for you videos! I have convinced my parents I can get ferrets as soon as we get a bigger house (probably by the end of the year) because I know so much about ferrets! I wouldn’t know this much about ferrets without you, so thank you! I also am asking for your ferret phone case for Christmas! :)❤️ Love your videos!
I'm so happy that i found this video! I got a ferret very recently and I wasn't entirely sure if she wanted to play or if she was mad at me. Now I know it was purely just playing. (Her name is Artemis, she's very silly!)
i absolutely love ur channel and ur passion of teaching others about ferrets!! i’m hoping to get ferrets soon and your channel has already taught me so much just in a few days
My ferrets also have angry/territorial dooks sometimes. Elara will often dook right before she pounces on Nova, as they're fighting, and then do it again when she's running away from her. I can tell it isn't her trying to play based on the rest of her body language.
We are working through the same thing with a business of 6-12 month olds, trying to ad a kit...6-8 weeks at first!?! The eldest, also the only male, would run circles around the kits cage while duking incessantly...when allowed to interact, the male would attempt to drag the kit (as is common) back to a "safe place"...however, the kit shrieked as tho he was in agony and we eventually separated them...months later the kit is twice the size of our dominant male, yet still submits...no more screaming tho. I think that kits are released or sold or given up to other agencies well before they are ready to interact with non-familial adults...probably 8 weeks too soon as we learned the hard way here...in a business of one adoption, two emergency rescues, and one little boy from a pet shop (because he was there for days all alone) just trying to do the best we can for these amazing animals❤❤❤💯💯💯
I love your video. For first time ferret owners it is very useful to help them understand their new babies. In the past I had a business of five ferrets - 3 males and 2 females. They were were all rescue ferrets, even the one I got at a pet store. He was given up because the prior owner didn't want or know how to take care of a blind ferret. I would like to add that ferrets also grind their teeth when they have stomach problems. Also, ferrets have very poor eyesight. They depend mostly on scent to help them function in their group. My ferrets bottle brushed their tails also show their displeasure at being told NO. That usually was accompanied by a Weasel War Dance and a vocal opinion Dook, Chatter and if really displeased, throwing their heads back and forth and hissing. I usually got this when I had to bail one of them out of my potted plants by scuffing them and going nose to.
I’ve recently started to let my ferrets roam more than just my living room, where they stay. I’ve only extended it into my hallway, closing off the kitchen and bathroom door, noticing that every time I let them out there, they will do the bottle brush tail. At first I only thought that they were frightened to death everytime I allow them out there, but not long after they’d be jumping and running around like big lunatics. It’s great and I love them running around, the pitter patter of their feet is literally the best sound ever! As for the tail wagging, they’ve done it a few times when jumping all over me, and struggling while I’m trying to clean their cage out 😂 or even when I accidentally hurt myself, I think they just love to see me in pain! 😂💕 I have also recently got them a tube to play in, and they absolutely ADORE it. we’re always changing it up for them ,so it isn’t always the same, hence why I think they enjoy it so much because it’s always different. But they can play with it for ages, they’re always dooking and the occasional tail wag! I see my girls always lifting up their tails, and backing up, to go into their favourite corners to do their business. It seems to always be where we can’t see, due to our tables and speakers. The relaxed tail I see more often with my two girls, as they walk around the room scavenging. Or even playing with one another, I find it encouraging because I like to think that they’re calm and comfortable in their environment.💕 I’ve actually noticed that one of my girls, not all the time but once or twice I’ve had this happen, is that when Ive picked her up to remove her from the situation that I’m not comfortable with. And she will hiss at me, and I don’t know if she’s confused, or she’s literally telling me to go away 🧐 Oh my goodness! When my girls scream when they’re playing I get so concerned that they’re hurting each other, that me or a family member will infact move the two apart. This is another one of my favourites! When they do the weasel war dance, they do it all the time to each other and me. Once again giving me a great feeling that they’re comfortable with me, all three of us play all the time! They’re most favourite game is where I grab a light blanket, and throw the blanket over them, bringing it make up and repeating! We also can do this play for a few minutes💕 I get really scared when my girls scruff one another, and drag each other across the floor, sometimes I do interfere because I don’t know what to except 😬 When we’re playing, I notice that my girls back up sometimes, so I only assumed that I was scaring them. So I would back off to give them space, sometimes they’ll run to another place or to the other ferret, or they will follow me and even jump onto the sofa trying to grab my attention! 😂 It REALLY annoys me when they dig at their litter trays, it just takes so long to clean! It’s also frustrating when it’s new and you have to throw a lot of it out, due to not being able to pick it back up again😩 but their cute faces make up for it 🥺😂💕 Not all the time, but sometimes I do occasionally see my ferrets wiping their butts, on the cage floor after doing their business. At first I actually thought there was something serious wrong, but after finding out why they do it. It hasn’t bothered me since 😂 I just find it funny. My girls can be so affectionate when they want to 🥺 they like to lick my fingers, or gently nibble them. Or even cuddle up to my fingers if they’re sleepy or just waking up after a nap. A great experience for me everytime 😩💕 On the 4th of August, that will be the mark that I’ve had my two female ferrets for a month, they’ll be 12 weeks 🥺💕 I’m doing research to find the right and appropriate veteran to be able to go ahead with their neutering 💕 But overall great video! Very educational, and I’ll definitely be keeping this key information with me, so I can grow and learn more everyday to make my two girls life better 💕 I’m glad that you’re back and well, we’ve definitely missed your updates! 💕
You can put a dog pee pad under there potty bot to catch the litter. Pickup the pee pad by the corners and poor it back into the box. My last two girls did this alot when there were babies.
I’m getting a ferret in one week and I watch your videos like every day and I love your videos and I watch your videos so I know what to do with my favorite
Rollo's tail did the bottle brush effect once when he knocked a heavy candle off a shelf. That was the only time I ever saw that. All the hairs on his tail stuck out to the sides. I wish I had a pic of it.
Hiya! I'm Alisha and I'm super inspired by your channel. As soon as I came across your channel, I fell in love with ferrets. I'm still wondering when to convince my parents since I'm still in Secondary School and I still need to save up some money (quite a lot). Since I'll be at school most of the time, I'm not sure if I should get 1 or 2 ferrets and I really want to know if I get two ferrets, will they poop in the same place or different places. Also, I'm planning on putting them in a shed in my garden is that alright for them or will it be quite cold? I read that ferrets can control cooler weather rather then hotter weather. Thanks! 😊❤️
you can def get just one if you cant really afford the care for another! i had a singular ferret for a while until i got another later (ferret math is real lol) and she always did really well by herself it was easier to create a bond. just make sure to have more time set aside tho. thats y i got another bc i got busy. ferrets aren't like cats who go back to their one litter box... they just go to the quickest corner so maybe 2-3 litter pans? or just one on both levels (if you gget a two level cage) i recommend keeping them inside ur home its safer! but if u rlly cant then its fine they do better in cold just not snow temperatures yk
@@mitty8145 Thanks a lot for the information! I think I might try to litter train him though. If that dosen't work...then I guess i'll have to go with your help.
Alisha R. litter training usually is successful it’s just accidents happen a lot! they’ll go to the first corner they see like I mentioned. just make sure the tray is big enough but since you mentioned putting him in ur shed that’s why I recommended a few more!
@@sunlightmetal9232 if you are able to get two then you should! but it's not bad to get one.. i know many people who have had or have only one ferret. they need more attentionand play time but they are still very happy
I've been so excited to get a pair of ferrets. We were about to get a rehomed pair because the owner was having a baby and could no longer care as well for the ferrets. My parents said I could and I've been saving moneyfor a long time. Then randomly the day we were going to get them my mom lashed out and said I could no longer get them. I am not sure why. I hadn't even talked to her at all that day until I asked her what time we were going to pick them up and that's when she lashed out. I'm still very upset about it. Especially that after getting my hopes up for such a long time that I now have to wait until I move out. (Which will be a while) ☹
Ferrets are great, and so much fun. We have two a red eyed albino. He is blind and hilarious. Our other one is a cinnamon colored female. She is very loving for a ferret. Great animals. Love the little creatures.
This was very helpful! I had just got my first ferret two days ago! And im a complete newbie n tho i tried to research as much as possible i was struggling to tell weither he liked me or not cos i wasnt sure if he was just being playful or aggressive lol im also struggling with the biting since he has been biting hard. I may or may not be undergoing a bit of puppy blues or in my case ferret blues lol i named him Zazu (from the lion king) i have booked an appointment with the local vet for a health checkup
Thanks for the video. Question, my Ferret got in my bed near bedtime and started to lick my legs and started to scratch my legs and kept doing it even though I kept moving around in my bed. Not sure what she wanted and ended up leaving eventually. What did she want? Did she want me to get up ? Thanks in advance.

Ferrets need a high protein diet so most cat foods are not good for them. In the wild ferrets eat strictly meat such as mice and prairie dogs in the southwest America. It has been a while since I had my 5 ferrets so I don't know what ferret foods are available but can always ask the rescuer where you get your ferrets. Plus there are multiple sites online that can help you. Enjoy your new barbies.
New babies, sorry. If you buy a ferret from a store then you will probably need to investigate ferret foods online or contact a local rescue group for more helpful hints.
Hey I want to get ferrets and I am doing my research and a little question about their diet so I am going to need feed to dry food because I cant feed raw maybe there are something I can add to there food so it is better to them?
@Norah Linley I'm sorry no they can't have raw and dry it can kill them just watch some of Bryn's videos and you can learn more and yes ziwi peak is good
There is no way you cannot feed raw food. Its as easy as getting some chicken drumsticks, liver and heart. If you cant give 100% raw then do not get a ferret.
@@quixxer I'm sorry no if you are getting a ferret/have one and you do that please please contact Bryn because your ferret can die because that is not a correct raw diet and should not be put out there as correct
And if the people did not understand what she was saying in the intro and layman's term she's a ferret goddess get it straight and if you mess with her we will come for you
I petset my friends ferrets on n off up to 2 months (one of wich is now mine technically) n i had no idea they even made that hiss sound. Which is great cause i thought they didnt like me. Just lots of chirping n the ocational scream of someones biting too much or the nails got stuck.
Anyone used Astrology to pick your ferret? I have, on a couple of occasions. Being an Aries, I once got me an Aries ferret, the most adventuresome ferret I've ever owned.
How do you know if they are deaf, we have 5 ferrets and i believe 1 is deaf, but the whole family doesn't agree with me. She does run into walls and seems to walk wobbly and sniff about every step she takes, she also doesn't poo in the corner she will go in the middle of a room.
My ferret makes this weird noise it sounds maybe like a bark or something he does it in different situations like when he was eating I pet him and he made it and other situations if he was biting something he will stop and do it or something I’m scared is it something wrong?
Ferret do communication with their eyes, mine gave me death stares after taking her snacks out from my shoes Also, she was rubbing her month and licking her lips a lot which I assume after eating- is that still part of cleaning herself? She stop after I went to check her mouth
We rescued a ferret that isn’t completely socialized but she’s friendly when she gets playful and I try to play she jumps backwards is that fear or general playing? She’s about two years old
Hey ,can u help me i have 2 ferrets Rick n Morty (a girl) i just recently got a rescue cat SpookyNoche’ Rick started taking Spookys water bowl now he is taking his n Mortys bowl and now Spookys food dish why is he doing this?
Ive had quite a few ferretes over the years . currently we have 1 . snuggie is a young ferret I got my 8yr old son last year for Xmas. He loves animals and loves Snuggie. Sleep with each other n play and run and chase like a dog. Super cute. But I having hardtime with food at moment he hasmt been eating enough. Seems to be losing weight. Use duk soup as well n wysong freeze dried rabbit n quail n chicken. Help?
I wish knew how to tell if my new adopted ferrets are happy . Do they miss their old place ? How do we know if our ferrets meshed together after LEAVING another place . I love my 5 babies . Wish I knew if they were happy HERE sigh
I use Advantage. It's about 20 dollars U.S. You can treat two ferrets with it. Just rub a drop behind their head where they can't lick it off. It lasts about a month. If you take your ferret outside a lot, check it's fur around the tail and back legs regularly- this is where the fleas hide.
Probably nothing. My ferret sneezes a lot. They get respiratory irritations because their noses are so close to the ground. Also they can catch flu and colds from humans so be careful if you are 😷. It could be allergies, too.
My ferret hates other ferrets :( he bites my cat in the neck but I don’t know if he is just trying to play but my cat gets hurt so I don’t know if he just don’t like other animals
I have a question, my ferret I got at petco three months age rn we happen to think he has trouble with breathing or something else he twitched a lot and while sleeping breaths really heavily like if he can’t breath he then will sleep with his mouth open and his hand sometimes twitches I happen to think maybe he has some anxiety cause of possibly being seperated from his family. Pls help!! And ty!
I have question I got a ferret 3 months old from petco and he will lick me couple times then all sudden bite me and it's getting hard each time. I'm starting telling him no and scuffing him. But I'm not sure why he does this.
Keep doing what you're doing. Your ferret has really tough skin and you have to explain that it hurts your sensitive human skin. I say "No! Ouchie bite!" and scruff them. Also, at 3 months, your ferret is still teething and wants to bite everything. The best thing for a ferret to bite is another ferret. They usually don't mind it.
I'm sorry I know this isn't the topic of the video, but does anyone have any tips to help my ferret cool down? It's been very hot in my home lately and I worry about the rascally bandit.
I just got a baby ferret female, I wanna get another one so my ferret doesn't feel lonely when I'm at work. I'm scared that the new ferret might kill my baby ferret.
Get one that is similar in size and when you introduce them, place them in a room they cannot hide and do not leave them alone. Once you see they get along they will be fine alone

Not all the time, but sometimes I do occasionally see my ferrets wiping their butts, on the cage floor after doing their business.
A great experience for me everytime 😩💕
On the 4th of August, that will be the mark that I’ve had my two female ferrets for a month, they’ll be 12 weeks 🥺💕 I’m doing research to find the right and appropriate veteran to be able to go ahead with their neutering 💕
But overall great video! Very educational, and I’ll definitely be keeping this key information with me, so I can grow and learn more everyday to make my two girls life better 💕 I’m glad that you’re back and well, we’ve definitely missed your updates! 💕
this elicited such a strong mental image for me that i physically felt my brain release serotonin so thank you for that
Aw, I liove this comment so much. I can tell that you're really passionate about your ferret's health and happiness and it just warms my heart!
You can put a dog pee pad under there potty bot to catch the litter. Pickup the pee pad by the corners and poor it back into the box. My last two girls did this alot when there were babies.
I am just about to get 2 ferrets and this was very helpful and I am soo exited to get them
Thank you so much for posting this video! It really taught me a lot about owning a ferret and what to look out for. :)
I want ferrets soooooo badly but I decided to wait until I move out because my family already has a bird and a very vicious cat :/
Thank you for this! I was having trouble finding clear answers to my questions and you answered all of them. Thank you!
My ferret keeps making this weird wheezing noise like he has something stuck in his throat and it’s scaring me
omg, your channel is so amazing i always go here to get ferret tips.
Pretty thoroughly covers the major points of ferret behaviour. Great video.
Thank you for this video I really understand my ferrets better
This was very helpful, I just got my first ferret and I was having a hard time figuring out if she was stressed out or having a good time.
I’m getting a ferret in one week and I watch your videos like every day and I love your videos and I watch your videos so I know what to do with my favorite
Lovvvve the new intro!
Rollo's tail did the bottle brush effect once when he knocked a heavy candle off a shelf. That was the only time I ever saw that. All the hairs on his tail stuck out to the sides. I wish I had a pic of it.
Last time I was this early i didn't have a younger brother
I know the pain ✋
JSJASJ THE FACT THAT FOR ME THIS IS 9 MONTHS OLD
I’ve had ferrets who would cuddle up and sleep in my bed with me and had them walk on leash. I miss having them. Such cute spazzy floofs
My ferret hissed while excited- I think
My ferret hisses a lot, and she protects her treat, like when I try to take it out off her mouse. She seems really mad!
The hiss is hilarious
hey bryn great video and what about a video about how to bond with ferrets?
I don't reccomend you get only one. They're highly social and can get depressed alone
@@sunlightmetal9232 if you are able to get two then you should! but it's not bad to get one.. i know many people who have had or have only one ferret. they need more attentionand play time but they are still very happy
they could be loud by making loud noises but they usually are really quite all you really hear is rusting and things flinging around tho
Love the backround😁♥️ and im going to be getting 2 boys soon♥️
Ferret nicknames: Floof noodle, canine cat snake, angry floof, happy floof, sleepy floof, and my favorite, fluffy spike ball
(Which will be a while) ☹
@Furry Peeps I've tried that. She still gets mad and says no. Good idea though and thanks for trying to help. 😊
Love the new thumbnail
Ferrets are great, and so much fun. We have two a red eyed albino. He is blind and hilarious. Our other one is a cinnamon colored female. She is very loving for a ferret. Great animals. Love the little creatures.
I’m going to foster a ferret for a month and see if I can handle adopting one instead of just getting it
Your Vids make me happy and I can't wait to get my own ferret I hope you have a ferret that is as nice as yours ♡´・ᴗ・`♡
7:05 is my favorite part 😂
Once again, an amazing video! 😍
Hope everyone’s having a good day😊❤️
Thanks for the video. Question, my Ferret got in my bed near bedtime and started to lick my legs and started to scratch my legs and kept doing it even though I kept moving around in my bed. Not sure what she wanted and ended up leaving eventually. What did she want? Did she want me to get up ? Thanks in advance.
Thanks! This video really helped!
I'm getting a ferret if I pass the first 6 weeks of school I have saved 342 dollars and I really hope I do good in school
you have raised a lot but idk if it’s still enough you have to think about the future you still have to buy your ferret food, litter, etc
@@josjosjo yeah but I'm trying to find a ferret on face book
And I asked.if my parents can pay for the vet bills
I am currently having a really difficult time finding an apartment that will allow my 2 ferrets. Ugh.
Good luck 🤞💜
@@angrygoblin8685 Update... i HAVE FOUND a place that accepts ferrets! Listen world, there is hope! Dont give up !
Its so worth it
Dont rehome your ferrets. It is traumatizing for you, as is especially for them. just keep moving forward! NEVER accept a place to live that wont accept your needs (pets)
Just claim you have cats.
@@sergeirachmaninoff8481 congratulations 👏🎉👏🎉👏🎉
slumlord racing Lmao.
where did you get that really long black tunnel from? the only one that I can find that is long enough is from Marshall and I don't want to buy it

Me: 😡😡😡
Hi, I just came from the ziwipets freeze dried food for ferrets video you made on RUclips I was wonder which one do I get I know the ones for cats but there’s a lot to choose from like lamb, mackerel, beef I do not know which one I am planing to get a ferret but I want to get everything ready before I do. Please reply I really need a answer
If you buy a ferret from a store then you will probably need to investigate ferret foods online or contact a local rescue group for more helpful hints.
quick question, sometimes, why does a mother ferret bring her owner's hand towards her kits? What is there benefit there for her?
Hey I want to get ferrets and I am doing my research and a little question about their diet so I am going to need feed to dry food because I cant feed raw maybe there are something I can add to there food so it is better to them?
@Norah Linley I'm sorry no they can't have raw and dry it can kill them just watch some of Bryn's videos and you can learn more and yes ziwi peak is good
@Norah Linley no I think you might have misheard she said you can put some raw in the ziwi peak because it is just dehydrated meat so it's like raw
@Norah Linley and yes correct
And if the people did not understand what she was saying in the intro and layman's term she's a ferret goddess get it straight and if you mess with her we will come for you
i really fancy this... im glad you understand our stinky companions on such detailed level. they'll let you know (just listen closely)
I petset my friends ferrets on n off up to 2 months (one of wich is now mine technically) n i had no idea they even made that hiss sound. Which is great cause i thought they didnt like me. Just lots of chirping n the ocational scream of someones biting too much or the nails got stuck.
Is it ok to have a rice tub for them to play in or is that bad I saw it on smelly belly tv
Rice for digging is great and they love it
Quixxer ok jest won’t to make sher
My ferret did the same with a thread it kinda sounds like a rapid chuckle
Hi. I would like to know how many times they should eat i give my ferret every 4 hours idk if is ok. Thanks
Anyone used Astrology to pick your ferret? I have, on a couple of occasions. Being an Aries, I once got me an Aries ferret, the most adventuresome ferret I've ever owned.
This is kind of off topic- but did you ever live in NC..? 😮
When they go like a macaroni noodle, ready to pounce and play. XD
How do you know if they are deaf, we have 5 ferrets and i believe 1 is deaf, but the whole family doesn't agree with me. She does run into walls and seems to walk wobbly and sniff about every step she takes, she also doesn't poo in the corner she will go in the middle of a room.
i had two ferrets and one of them passed away recently and i’m trying to figure out where i went wrong
I'm sorry :( sometimes it just happens.
Hi im going to get ferrets soon should i newter my ferrets and when should i?
My ferret makes this weird noise it sounds maybe like a bark or something he does it in different situations like when he was eating I pet him and he made it and other situations if he was biting something he will stop and do it or something I’m scared is it something wrong?
You are beautiful and a ferret lover great combination
does anyone know any good breeders in New York? I have been looking for awhile but i haven't been able to find any that I can fully trust.
Ferret do communication with their eyes, mine gave me death stares after taking her snacks out from my shoes
Also, she was rubbing her month and licking her lips a lot which I assume after eating- is that still part of cleaning herself? She stop after I went to check her mouth
We rescued a ferret that isn’t completely socialized but she’s friendly when she gets playful and I try to play she jumps backwards is that fear or general playing? She’s about two years old
My ferret loves to sploot to beg for uppies! ❤
I have a question I will be laying down and my ferret goes up to me and then bite me for no reason
Probably just wants attention. Don't let it bite you too hard. Your skin isn't tough like a ferret's. You need to train him that it hurts.
I got 2 new rescue ferrets and they’re extremely under weight, any tips to help them gain some?
Maya Bryenton did get help with your rescue ferrets?
10:24 my friend 10:24!✨🥺✨

Sleep with each other n play and run and chase like a dog. Super cute. But I having hardtime with food at moment he hasmt been eating enough. Seems to be losing weight. Use duk soup as well n wysong freeze dried rabbit n quail n chicken. Help?
I wish knew how to tell if my new adopted ferrets are happy . Do they miss their old place ? How do we know if our ferrets meshed together after LEAVING another place . I love my 5 babies . Wish I knew if they were happy HERE sigh
Whats a good flea, tick and mosquito replant for ferrets
I use Advantage. It's about 20 dollars U.S. You can treat two ferrets with it. Just rub a drop behind their head where they can't lick it off. It lasts about a month. If you take your ferret outside a lot, check it's fur around the tail and back legs regularly- this is where the fleas hide.
what does it mean if she's sneezing a lot
Probably nothing. My ferret sneezes a lot. They get respiratory irritations because their noses are so close to the ground. Also they can catch flu and colds from humans so be careful if you are 😷. It could be allergies, too.
My ferret hates other ferrets :( he bites my cat in the neck but I don’t know if he is just trying to play but my cat gets hurt so I don’t know if he just don’t like other animals
I want a ferret I’m trying to convince my mom but she is saying no but i think it can workout!
Hey so I have a dog and I wanted to get a ferret do you have any tips or stuff to introduce them
I have a question, my ferret I got at petco three months age rn we happen to think he has trouble with breathing or something else he twitched a lot and while sleeping breaths really heavily like if he can’t breath he then will sleep with his mouth open and his hand sometimes twitches I happen to think maybe he has some anxiety cause of possibly being seperated from his family. Pls help!!
You could get a water bottle and freeze it and put a sock over it and put it in the cage ( i know people do this for Chinchillas)
Maybe you can get a fan, make sure it is out of reach though so the ferret won’t get hurt
Freeze raw whisked egg or water as ice cubes! Also cold ceramic tiles, damp towels, A/C, etc
I have a question do ferrets hold aggression to someone
