Just another example of how far Canada has fallen, and how unserious a country it has been allowed to become.
NO it isn't. It's just some stupid thing at some random ballpark in Toronto. STOP implying that this is some kind of 'downfall of our country & everything is going to hell' garbage already, we are SICK of hearing that crap from people here already. SICK of it. Get a grip.
@@ckendall67if the economy ever improves we will hear this less
Toronto, the city where fun is banned 😒
At the men's washroom at the convention center there's a sign that says please don't drink from the urinals how dumb do you have to be if you think drinking from the urinals is ok then I say drink away 😂
The rule that got me was "No competitive play". WTH??? This is SO dumb!
If the Blue Jays would implement the "No Home Run" rule, they'd probably score some runs!
Sid's tone, "I have no idea". That was great
Just install a tall fence to contain home runs.
CCP Chow prefers arbitrary rules.
That's right up there with the no barking sign at a Toronto dog park. Toronto sucks!
It's crap like that that proves Toronto will never attain their desire to be a "world class city".
Last winter they wanted to ban tobogganing
The people who put up that sign are probably the same people who complain about kids always being indoors playing video games.
The dumb leading the world has to stop. This is above stupid. Sid is right 100%
Who thought of this sign in the first place?????
The city has now backtracked on their decision about the rules posted.
Rule #4 in the sign? It's weird why that baseball park in Toronto have that rule.
Blue Jays players can play there. No home runs is not an issue with them. No runs too.
If balls need to remain inside the park, build a higher fence….
another rule would be "hit the ball lightly" "no batflips" "no sliding into the bases" 🤣I guess thats the same category as competitive play😂
Only in Toronto sigh
They overturned the ban on street hockey in 2016, but I still don't see kids playing street hockey because now they don't know how after so may years. We need some old people to show them how.
Omg I would LOVE a Sid for mayor campaign ! 🎉🎉🎉
No balls No strikes No outs…
Metal screens on condo windows
or just put up a friggin fence and netting around the field
Just stand there and "wish" and dream that you are playing baseball! Welcome to 2024.
Sorry, Sid, but as per Newton's third law, it's actually easier to hit a home run off a fast, overhand pitch, than a slower underhand pitch.
No fun allowed!
No keeping score allowed either. It hurts people feelings
They don't want any trouble surrounding their community especially when it escalates to violence.
Playing baseball???
They should have just posted that 12 year old and younger are only allow to play there.
It’s like toboggan ban
'Atlas Shrugged' depicts the villainous meatheads in those meetings making up rules such as this. When you see how and why it's done, you care more about who you put in these positions.
Baseball is much different than softball. You can hit a baseball a mile. You guys would know that if you weren't glued to the couch
The goal of the game is not to hit a home run. The goal is to win the game.. goes to show why our sports are where they are.
I guess the Jays could still play here.
Whoever made this sign never play any sports as a child. THAT SO BS, CITY OF TORONTO should fire whoever had this idea.
The sign was put up in 2019...funny how it was NEVER an issue until now.
no play park wow then people do crime
Why even bother PLAYING in that stupid ballpark then?
Now imagine the people behind the pandemic response.
Complain complain complain.
Yet these 3, especially Sid, would be the first to complain if they heard we were paying out millions in tax dollars to fix broken windows.
why should tax payers pay for broken windows. The park was there first. Maybe don't build glass condo next to a park....or maybe the condo can pay to put up netting etc to protect their property.
This city will be exactly like India soon anyway.
What does that mean? How is this city becoming "exactly like India" have to do with rules the city planning made up for a baseball diamond? Try doing a little research first before commenting and making yourself sound uneducated.
@@sxm08fc 🤣🤣🤣🤣 It's a joke bromo
The sign was cheaper than the netting. That’s all it is. They want people just held up at home alone and doing nothing rather than getting exercise, fresh air, and happiness. They want pandemic days back when they can chain up the park equipment and fine you for riding a scooter in the park
nutz
Everything woke turns to sh*t
What a bunch of bs.
This diamond and these crazy rules was reported one or two summers ago. This isn’t a new story.
What's wrong? The powers that be just want to promote lost art of small ball 😂. No one knows how to bunt these days...
NFFA PARK ... No Fun For Anyone
This hometown of mine is just getting sadder and more pathetic by the day. 😆 Smells of communism. They will probably remove the ball park and put up a condo anyways 🤣
This seems like a City of London. Home of the finest planners in Ontario 🥸
You get what you voted for!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
about as brainless and fascist woke as it gets but you can see it was somebody who wanted to appease the folks in the condo whose windows got broken .
you say somebody "thought" about it but this shows the level of thinking out of these civic offices
that said I can sort of get the one rule of no aluminum bats because they hit farther ...so maybe they figured that would help not to get the hits as far as the condos ????
and then theres the obvious as mentioned , why not put up some net in the trees ....
