Just another example of how far Canada has fallen, and how unserious a country it has been allowed to become.

NO it isn't. It's just some stupid thing at some random ballpark in Toronto. STOP implying that this is some kind of 'downfall of our country & everything is going to hell' garbage already, we are SICK of hearing that crap from people here already. SICK of it. Get a grip.

why should tax payers pay for broken windows. The park was there first. Maybe don't build glass condo next to a park....or maybe the condo can pay to put up netting etc to protect their property.

The sign was cheaper than the netting. That’s all it is. They want people just held up at home alone and doing nothing rather than getting exercise, fresh air, and happiness. They want pandemic days back when they can chain up the park equipment and fine you for riding a scooter in the park

about as brainless and fascist woke as it gets but you can see it was somebody who wanted to appease the folks in the condo whose windows got broken .
you say somebody "thought" about it but this shows the level of thinking out of these civic offices
that said I can sort of get the one rule of no aluminum bats because they hit farther ...so maybe they figured that would help not to get the hits as far as the condos ????
and then theres the obvious as mentioned , why not put up some net in the trees ....
