Morning Planespotting at Doha Hamad International Airport

- During my three hour layover in Doha back in January, I was able to get some quick planespotting in from the Al Mourjan Business Lounge. Doha is very busy during the early morning hours, as this is the time frame where most Qatar Airways flights arrive from Eastern countries and depart to Western countries. I also included some clips I shot onboard my flight to Chicago since I felt those were worth showing as well. I hope you enjoy this quick video and stay tuned for the final trip report from this Pakistan trip that should hopefully be up next week.
AIRCRAFT FEATURED (in order of appearance):
Various Qatar Airways planes
Qatar Airways A350-1000 (A7-ANA), I've seen this aircraft in Chicago before!
Qatar Airways A320-200 (A7-LAE)
Qatar Airways A320-200 (A7-AHG), I flew this plane from Doha to Karachi in 2013!!
Qatar Airways A350-900 (A7-ALA)
Oman Air A330-300 (A4O-DH) leased to Qatar Airways
Qatar Airways B777-300ER (A7-BAT)
Qatar Airways A350-1000 (A7-ANH)

Liked and Subscribed!
wow very nice!
Thanks for not adding music to the video ;D I wanted to say that it's fun to watch spotting videos from the middle east! I am from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and my home airport is just amazing especially the new terminal (Terminal 1)!
Nice spotting mate
Wonderful video man!
Layover spotting is always amazing! Got 5 hours in AbuDhabi and made use flight every minute:)
Spotting in AUH is cool. I remember when I had 4hrs there and saw some cool stuff!
@@ASAviation best of ut all would be seeing all the EY A35Ks
Which time was Ur layover?
Amaizing
Is tht a little bit of paint degradation in the Qatar airways a350 tail section being seen at 4:36 ?
This is the beautiful airport cornice view and even stadium 974 stadium cirw
Great spotting from Doha. I was on the way from Paris to KL. But I had to layover in Doha for 13 hrs so had to stay in hotel overnight. But I didn't know where to go plane spotting outside Doha airport. Anyone knows?
Other than this lounge, are there any other spots to see runway views in the terminal building?
7 minutes and 37 seconds... 737?
Um is this legal? I know all Arab airports forbid filming anywhere
Mate mind i ask where exactly this place is gonna have a 14h transfer in doha soon.
This thing you did here is actually a very risky thing, since you can actually get in prison or even kicked from the country this video is very valuable. Great job, love the hard work👍
Which side of the airport did you record on?
What app is used to ID which plane/airline, registration number and destination is actually being spotted? Flight Aware?
Um sonho lindo que vou repetir.
❤️❤️
Such a shame A7-ALA is still grounded
Man that’s nice, but it’s already aged out as all the A350s are Qatar were supposedly grounded
Although there’s still flying which is weird
Thanks, and as for the A350’s…No this video was filmed on January 30th. Qatar only has grounded 18 or so A350’s. I flew an A350 into to Doha before this and also uploaded the video of it as well.
Yoooo u got one from erbil my region kurdistan🎉!
How to plane spot in Qatar??
Where do you spot?
I was there just a few days ago
1:15 are those a350's operating?
Yes
Scary🎃
I heard its illegal to be plane spotting in Arab airports? did you get permission for filming?
As far as I’m aware spotting at the airport perimeters outside the terminal is illegal. I haven’t been told off about filming inside.
@@ASAviation oh is this from inside the airport? I plan to go to Doha to spot planes what area is this? I just hope I won't get arrested 😅
@@sfoaviation yes this is inside the airport, filmed from the Al Mourjan business class lounge.
@@ASAviation thank you my friend. I will give that a try. Keep up the great work. I love Qatar Airways
@@ASAviation I'm about to upload a Qatar A350 taking off from SFO
Nice Plane spotting.
Sir please High Altitude Plane spotting.
Thank you. What do you mean “high altitude”?
@@ASAviation Means planes fly 40000 feet 38000 feet above the ground
@@hammadmahmood2128 not really easy to do…or even possible outside of an aircraft.
@@ASAviation I believe he means contrail spotting
@@ASAviation ok

That’s awesome!! Really cool to see a airport across the globe and what it looks like when we’re all sleeping!!
Fantastic spotting video man! I feel like it's rare to see spotting videos from airports such as Doha and other larger Middle Eastern Airports!
Thanks so much man! Totally right on that, hopefully that changes soon since airports like DOH, DXB, AUH are super cool. However they sadly don’t have many places to spot from outside of the airport.
