  • In this video, come along with me as I walk through the streets of Tel Aviv, Israel and explore the local side of the city. Is Tel Aviv worth visiting? Is Tel Aviv Israel dangerous? How dangerous is Israel? Is it safe in Israel? Come along as I take a look at the streets and how the culture, people, way of living and everyday life consists of. I pass by the Carmel Market, and see how the public transportation works. What will be my first impression on one of the most expensive cities in the world.

Tel Aviv is an amazing city, I visited it for 9 times since 2010. Not a beauty everywhere, but interesting.
Nice old areas, modern skyscrapers, amazing Restaurants and street food, cool bars, beaches, markets.
An "everything is possible" vibe. And perfect base to explore Rest of Israel. ( Just less than 1h by train to Jerusalem)
Taxi fares aren't that expensive, but public transport is Well organized, with one Ravcard you can use busses, trains, light rails, Shterut all over Israel!!!
Israelis in general are open and friendly. Often not very polite, but friendly. I love their clear, straight and honest attitude.
Love Israel, and love love Tel Aviv!!!!!

You've summed it up really well. I was there last year for the first time, and certainly intend to go back. Certain cities just have that vibe and feeling, and Tel Aviv is right up there on that list.

I visit Israel every year (except during Covid) because my daughter lives there with her husband and kids. Of course it has problems like every other country. But on the whole, they have a live and let live attitude, so it’s very enjoyable. You should visit Haifa and Eilat too. I’d be careful about Jerusalem.

Isn't it kind of required that new visitors have to end up in the area around the big bus station? Kind of like my first time in San Francisco, yep, ended up in the worst part of that city. First time in Los Angeles? Lynnwood, baby!
