I love it when growers show the garden when its like this! Proper jungle. I have arrowroot growing so looking forward to a video on how you cook it!

You can actually cook the banana heart/blossom the ref thingy of the banana fruits. You can make tons of recipes to it.
You have to take the outer red layers and just cook the whitish part. Great as salads and even as a replacement to meat. Find some recipes online.

Cut the banana blossom tail when you see the fruits getting smaller, so you can maximaze the size of them

It could be grafted, best grafted in spring to early summer when the sap is flowing well. I would tend to leave the plant as is and see how it goes...

Arrowroot is a starchy root vegetable derived from the Maranta arundinacea plant, native to tropical regions such as the Caribbean and South America. It has been used for centuries as a thickening agent in cooking. Arrowroot is gluten-free, making it suitable for those with gluten sensitivities or celiac disease. It also has a higher nutritional value compared to other starches, containing various vitamins and minerals such as potassium, iron, and B vitamins.
