You can actually cook the banana heart/blossom the ref thingy of the banana fruits. You can make tons of recipes to it. You have to take the outer red layers and just cook the whitish part. Great as salads and even as a replacement to meat. Find some recipes online.

ould you graft onto the avocado after replanting?
It could be grafted, best grafted in spring to early summer when the sap is flowing well. I would tend to leave the plant as is and see how it goes...
