have this stereo and i love it! huge upgrade from my old kenwood but 2 cons about this stereo is the volume control. i’m surprised that they just made arrows and not the knob which is unsafe when you’re driving and want to lower your speakers especially for older cars like mine that don’t have the volume control on the steering wheel. the second con is the quality on the screen is not that good for some reason. i don’t know if it’s a problem that can be fixed or if it’s just me

The fact that the newer cars feature tuning and volume control is something that the steering wheel can ALSO do. But it's main function is to enable STEERING the vehicle. It's not called the round tuning and volume control, because its primary function is to STEER!!! STILL LMFAO!!!!!😅😅😅😂😂

My car stereo system kenwood hd cd player and that alliows a digital antenna to input Sirius XM stations out of my 1997 Saturn sl grey in color.
I purchased the kit for iPhone but won’t work. It will only play audio but no video.

You show saving FM with presets. I've done that with mine. BUT-You did not show anything avout saving SXM stations. How do you save SXM channels/stations to a preset? Like if I want to save channel 007 to preset #1, 008 to preset #2, and so on. Or is this not possible with this unit? Thanks for the nice video......

This video is convincing me to buy one. A few dumb questions, so with music play back you can play music wirelessly using Bluetooth? Also if someone is connected to car play using a wire can you still play music with another phone using Bluetooth, or does music have to be played from the phone that’s plugged in?
Yup, bluetooth is a short-range wireless technology standard used for exchanging data between fixed and mobile device. You'll get wireless bluetooth music playback and hands free calling. You'd have to disconnect from carplay, when connected Carplay supersedes the Bluetooth source.
I love my player, however it does not read my titles for my cds and yet it does for my dvds. But reading the reviews it is supposed to. Can you please tell me what setting I can turn on to do this. And by the way I am talking about legitimate and legal cds. Help

I dont have this model but i have the DMX5020BTS it works great with music on carplay but when i have a call or use maps the sound is terrible and goes through the tweeters on my suzuki swift do you have any theorys to why this happens and if i can change it to go through my front speakers

@@Qualitymobilevideo I am able to get into the settings by touching the top left twice,top right twice , top left once ,top right once, and selecting opening customize. And all it says is NG, so I am guessing that there is a way. Just have to find out how.

I just installed one in a 2014 Xterra. Nice radio but the slow boot and the warning message every time is annoying.

I bought a Sony 5 years ago for the same price with similar features that can do wireless car play. I also hooked it up to my vehicles resistive steering wheel control output with NO ADAPTER and I can assign any button to do anything I want. Kenwood is not delivering with this product. Going to look for a Sony for my new car.

As someone who has an older car with no wheel buttons. The screen alone with no knobs is a very bad down point. Especially for any beginner drivers who may be looking to add modern conveniences to their parent’s hand-me-down shitbox.
That thing looks like it’s for a different market not USA.

It's probably the low shutter filming to make it actually visible on camera
This isn't photography it's 4k video recording. All of our videos are shot at 30fps, 60 shutter. No need to do a low shutter shot on a bright screen
@@Qualitymobilevideo my bad, I meant fast shutter so the sensor doesn't catch a lot of light and make it look over exposed. If you don't mind me asking, why don't you guys shoot in 60fps?
No wireless CarPlay, no volume knob, and usb port all the way in the back for that price is insane lmao. Definitely staying away from this head unit
