I started growing succulents about 15 years ago,and have a large collection,than house plants took off and I neglected my succulents/cacti,until recently I saw Harli G with a dancing Bones cactus,I remembered having one,I found it just barely surviving,that was it,I dug it up put it into nice cacti mix and brought it inside,now I have a renewed and fresh love for my succulents/cacti! I’m doing the same this year. I’m down to 70 but I want to get it down to 50. I’m limiting what I get from now on. Ficus and Hoyas.

& for your ikea cabinet goal, in my opinion I think you should look for a used one that isn’t customized at all so you can customize how you want for your specific needs. I was fortunate enough to buy a new mini cabinet (I buy all my plants as seedlings so everything fits now). I like playing around with different storage items until I find what works in the current set up

i really like your aesthetic and that you grow a wide range of plants, for eg cacti and succulents, because i feel like no one appreciates them these days :(( as well as peperomias. Also, you can find another piece of furniture similar to the ikea cabinets and turn in into a plant cabinet or a terrarium !! anyways, thanks for the video ^^🐴

One of my goals is to hope some fasciated cacti come my way. I don’t order online so it will be interesting to see if I come across any. I’m going to a plant swap in a week so maybe… Oh and I think you should let the M. ‘Aurea’ grow for a while. I know many of us live in apartments but Monstera is not a bush, it is a natural vine. Also the bigger and healthier the roots are the more it will recover when cut. Your goals are great and very ambitious, you have a busy year ahead! 🌿 I hope all will be well with dear Yakari 😘
