On the topic of Cinnamon.. I recently read somewhere that in order for the cinnamon to be effective for plants it needs to be freshly grated, so picking up a few whole cinnamon sticks and using a kitchen grater dmto grate directly into the plant soil.. the reason is supposedly the pre ground cinnamon oxidizes quickly and is not effect for anti fungal properties once oxidized
I’m a Hoya lover but have never seen the Hoya madara. It’s so beautiful. I looked it up and the prices are yikes! Since it’s a Carnosa it should be easy to propagate so hopefully the price will come down soon so we can both get one! 😍 I hope you get to your subscriber goal soon. 💜⭐️🩷

Love the 2024 wish list, so many beautiful plants out there!! I'm currently struggling with my hoya callistophylia, this is my second attempt to keep one happy in my home, the leaves turn yellow then brown then die off with a few months 😔 I'm careful with the watering letting the top inch or so dryout, its in a terracotta pot with normal soil. Maybe it needs high humidity, not sure. Thank you for another great video and Merry Christmas to you, Agnius, the furry babies, and your mom and sister 🎄🎅

Mix alcohol, water and about an ounce of castille soap in a spray bottle. The soap helps the alcohol stick to the plant. I’ve been fighting mealies too. Last plant I sprayed it on I haven’t seen the mealies come back yet, but I’m still holding my breath.
Kevin has a bunch of orchids. He hasn’t shown them in a while. He got all of them to bloom last year. But I haven’t heard him talk about them lately. I’ll have to ask next time I watch a video I’ll have to ask him about them.
Can you produce a video showing how well all your hoyas are growing now? We would all love to see all your vines and peduncles. It is good to have a wish list, but maybe we do not all have the location and needs the hoyas need.

Yes I’m a hoya head. But there are very few plants I wouldn’t bring home if given to me. But not peace lillies. I have difficulty growing alocasia’s and maranta is I guess I’ll try pon and self watering pots.
I’m going to purge some plants to make room so I can actually “see” my plants instead of big walls of green I want a Christmas tree next year. I need a lot of room for that.

To get my Thanksgiving cactus to bloom I put them outside in the summer ( don’t let them sunburn). I left them out all summer and fall. I only brought them in just before the frost. They both bloomed like crazy that year.

Definitely don’t overwater desert roses , especially during the winter. Check out ficus petiolaris, has a caudex but likes normal amounts of water.

We dont have the castille soap 😔
Any olive oil based soap will do, either liquid (easier) or in bar form. I am sure you can find that in Lithuania.
