This song has been my favorite songs for weeks. It's just so complete. It's got catchy melodies, great lyrics, she's got a very smooth voice and style of singing, and the production is just as smooth. A+
7 yrs later and I never get tired of listening to this

Why, why do I still return to this song? Honestly, the very first time I heard it on the radio when it made its debut, it affected me so much I really did cry. I soon discovered, this song held so much power over my emotions, whenever I heard it, that reaction came over me. And here I am, back again for more. This song is heartbreaking yet I can't get over it. Love does that to some of us. I guess I'm not strong enough to walk away, forget the song and just go on. Heartbreak isn't supposed to make you want to hear those words of goodbye, again. That's what makes this track so extraordinary. OK, now my emotions are all messed up, just like before, so I'm going. But I'll be back, because genius beckons to fools in love, like me.

I'm a Contralto, and as a Contralto this is the lane we are especially good at it. It's natural. Sounding sad, singular, melancholic and dark. My voice is sepulchrous, according to the Montreal is Opera. I only sing sad, dark, torchy songs. I sing this one too, because l understand and sympathize with the artist's perspective, and the place this comes from is dark and heartbreaking

this is such a beautiful, vulnerable, sad yet relatable song. I have also felt this way about some people I have met and dated... they would be so good to me and treat me right even when I doubted them. Deep inside I was just so scared of the thought of how painful it would be to lose them some day, so I'd leave them first so I could spare myself the potential heartache.... obviously I was the one hurting myself in the end.
