  • The first NIO Battery Swapping Station outside of China is in Norway. Nio's founder and CEO William Lee had a vision for his cars. One that laid emphasis on digital technology, artificial intelligence, battery swapping, and a tight-knit community of Nio buyers and fans. It's worked wonders in China, Nio's home market. But Lee has now set his sights on conquering Europe. Nio's clearly got VW and Tesla in its crosshairs.

Swappable batteries is the OBVIOUS best option for "refueling" . I hope NIO succeeds for having the balls to do the right thing correctly instead of exploiting customers like other electric car brands insist in doing.

all of the generation capacity in the United States could not possibly keep every car battery charged, if all the cars in the United States were replaced with electric vehicles. Not even close. That’s even counting on every generation source being up and running 100 %. which by the way has never happened and is not possible. They always have something called an outage to service turbines and generators. even in nuclear power stations they have to refuel..
that is even taking into consideration rooftop source on residential homes, that’s taking into consideration coal, Hydro, wind, commercial solar, natural gas, and nuclear, all of those systems up and running and generating power could not possibly charge every electric vehicle and keep them going. We have rolling brownouts and blackouts now.. when we have our “normal “, heat waves in the summer months, electric systems are stressed, California often has to do brownouts and blackouts to keep the system from failing.
all the bean counters and statistical guys are forwarding the negative news about global warming when it suits their narrative. But actually, since they have been keeping temperature records, the average temperature around the globe has not very more than .3°..
of course we will come up with synthetic fuel that does not have a carbon footprint. We have it now, we just have to learn how to mass produce it. Actually, using corn as a fuel by turning it into gasoline creates more of a carbon footprint then the benefit from using that ethanol.
example. Plants absorb carbon dioxide out of the air and they put it in the soil. When a farmer plows his field to plant corn, he is releasing carbon that the plants have put into that soil for possibly hundreds of years. Using that corn that the farmer grows on those fields that are freshly plowed, has less than a 2% benefit to offset the damage that the farmer has released into the atmosphere by plowing the field call me if you want to call that damage.
The fact is, the ocean is the planets source for oxygen. Plankton absorbs the carbon dioxide and releases oxygen. If it were not for the ocean, when the planet goes through its winter cycle, where would we get our oxygen? Only half the planet is in the summer months when the other half is in winter. The answer is, the oceans give us our oxygen, and the ocean plankton needs carbon dioxide to create oxygen..
Earth is actually overdue by a couple thousand years for the next ice age that happens like clockwork. We know this because of earth core samples taken. The last Ice Age was around 10 or 12,000 years ago. The ice that created what is known as the great lakes in North America was over 2 miles thick. does that sound unbelievable?
Well, believe this. Right now at this moment the ice on Greenland, which is larger than the United States, is over a mile thick

But in the meantime if the Company NIO tries to enter the EU market, then it has to abide to EU standards and regulations.
Or else EU will come up with their system and use it around all EU nations.
China cannot just suddenly put their technologies in EU nations without a proper background check of the company especially from Chinese origin..
