One of the best reviews for the ET5 I've seen. Informative, knowledgeable presenter, strengths and weaknesses addressed, and a little humor. Good combination, don't change the formula.
I encountered this video on CnEVPost. The information and footage were so well presented that I made the conscious effort to look it up on RUclips to make this comment. Aside from a few abrupt clip jumps and the cornball bit on battery swap, this is easily my favorite video concerning EVs, full stop. Even the two aforementioned areas of improvement contribute to the no-frills, straight-talk authenticity of the author(s) effort. I'm a fan, and I look forward to future episodes.
NIO will easily be a Top 3- Auto-maker in the next few years under CEO William Li, the ET5 is such a beautiful car I can't wait for them to arrive in Canada, USA & Mexico. I hope they make an additional car factory outside of China in Europe or North America. Great summary video, I look forward to more NIO content and have subscribed to your channel. $NIO
As always an excellent video from this high quality Automotive Information Channel. Definitely my favorite source for true unbiased information for the Chinese Automotive Landscape.
Love the ET5, your presentation is fantastic and the filming location is epic that is filled with interesting automobiles. I’ve lived in Shanghai for 6 years but never really would imagine seeing a Suburban roaming down the street. Hoping NIO would bring the ET5 wagon to the US so I could talk my wife into replacing here Volvo S60 with it.
yes. The other ones were clumsy, too big. They are I guess, good cars for small number of people, but this one is for all of us. Great design, sufficient luxury, cutting egde technology. This is Huawei or Xiaomi of a car industry
I think in the future BMW will take NIO as reference of quality not the other way around. Congrats to NIO for building such great cars with high quality.
Really appreciate the thoroughness you provide in your video’s along with your subject knowledge and honesty. This is why I am asking if you have ever considered producing a video on battery swapping by NIO. Especially around information that seems murky or misrepresented for the truth or otherwise by various posters. Confusion over who can swap out their battery, baas, non bass users. What it costs, short term long term. Certainly Nio is not in the business to lose money ongoing but battery swapping needs to pay off eventually, either through increased auto sales or ongoing swap purchase or leasing, etc. interested in hearing what you may be able to dig up to clear up the current state of the criteria and Nio policies around using the swap station..thank you and great job.
Great vidéo ! I love the design ❣️ only point you mentioned is the poor rear view visibility... I am driving a Tesla model 3 and this car already has a poor.rear visibility and it can really make driving quite dangerous in some situations... So if it is even worse, this would be a no for me.
I think battery swap should work with out the customer in the car. If the car can drive it Self in the swap station I don't see why I have to seat In the car
Very good luck with convincing a world devoid of trustworthy branded service centers to subject themselves to one every few weeks, or hours over the road. Occasionally in car-oriented videos from China a car very familiar to the West appears anomalously. Usually it is something with some kind of mythology behind it. Never would I have imagined someone would go to the trouble of finding and importing a '93 Chevy Suburban. I couldn't take my eyes off it.
Bmw mercedes and audi are overhyped so much so that even if some one like nio comes up thats so much like 5x better than those 3 there will be brand bias

I can't get over the fact of how good-looking this car is.

So proud of you Sean. Amazing work
Excellent review.
I love NIO
Your presentation is as brilliant as the ET5 itself 👏Great stuff ⚡️🔋🏁
ET5 is the gamechanger. What a great car !

Eagerly awaiting the release of this model in the US.

so good
Such a beautiful car!
Nio ET5 😎❤️👍
Still not dispo in France/Germany?
Good presentation - PEACE
❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Best looking car ever. Tesla looks dated against this space shuttle. If it can be swap and also charged it will be huge success
Does the infotainment system support English in China?
I want an ET5
RanGe Newbee!
Wait till they launch the 3rd gen battery swap. Will only take under 2mins to swap batteries
Really?
I Doubt about it
First you have to get to a dedicated "swap station" and pray there isn't a queue. Under 2 minutes? LOL.
NIO ROCKS AS WELL AS CHINA

I like the jokes.

The Suburban belongs to my technical partner. We are using it more like a furniture in the garage.

I have to say:
Nio is far more convincing than Tesla
