I actually like it despite what everyone else says. I think it was a solid debut and it’s giving them a good base for their careers. They have very powerful vocals and I think they will have amazing stage presence as well. Im super excited to watch them grow.
If you think a plagiarized song from Iggy azalea is solid debut, you should reconsider your evaluation of solid ninjastream.to/watch/LznARB96WA6xd/aespa-little-brother-english-version
Honestly I really feel the same way but at the same time i feel like I shouldn’t be surprised because 90% of 4th gen ggs debut with this concept now so
I think people are focusing too much on the ai members. I don’t think that the ai members are going to be that big of a part of the group as people think. I think that SM is using aespa to promote whatever app or thing they’re going to do in the future. I mean why would SM go through all the trouble of doing this ai thing only for one group.
ikr they are so pressed about the avatars/ai. the mv didn't even include all the members' ae. only ae karina showed up and she didn't even have more than 7 secs of screen time. people are just looking for even the smallest things just to hate lmao
I think they will be doing multiple parts and this is like an introduction. One of the teasers they dropped with karina and the royal concept had nothing to do with this music video or song so I think that was a teaser for their next release which means it will be very soon
They won't.they're already in copyright scandal ,also some parts of their debut sounds helluva like Iggy Azalea - Team ninjastream.to/watch/LznARB96WA6xd/aespa-little-brother-english-version
Me too I love it so much💖 Its everything I expected from an SM debut an experimental sound like 7th Sense which is IMMACULATE ✨ But again its SM people are going to hate it. Unlike YG, and JYP, SM does not produce commercial songs they all are experimental in nature and obscure if u know what I mean. Is something SM can pull off that ni company can do.
idk why ppl are being so picky this song honestly was a solid debut. A lot of groups have been going towards dubstep choruses and the old vintage kinda music. The arrangement of it was really nice and the production was there, the choreo was so unique especially for a 4 member group, vocals, and it was catchy. 10/10 in my opinion
everyones out here hating this song but I was so shook watching and listening to it for the first time, legit played it on loop for 2 hours after it dropped and have been listening ever since. I really don't understand all the hate the girls are getting but, more publicity for them I guess lol. even if ur not a fan of black mamba plz support aespa and wait for their next comeback!!
I guess people have different opinions like for me I tought they exceeded my expectations and I was really shocked by the fact that I actually liked the song since this is not my type of song lmao
i’m very impressed with their talent, yes the concept is questionable and the members may be controversial, but you can’t deny that these girls are literally such all-rounders at singing, dancing, and rapping. edit: ok some of y’all in the replies are misunderstanding my comment, by “controversial” all i mean is that they’ve been involved in a lot of scandals. yes, they turned out to be fake but they were still scandals, that’s just the word i use for it. i don’t believe in any of the rumors about them so pls don’t misunderstand, i have nothing against any of the members
I mean....isn't it's SM history that their grp struggle for 1-2 yrs...but after that they are like boom snatching awards and people become crazy for them
Not Aespa, they already have publicity, a fandom, 1 million subs in RUclips, 60+ million views. Aespa is the first SM group who I have seen didn’t struggle, they we’re already nominated too!! Sadly no wins but this gives us a idea for their future.
I'm sorry but the people who are like I don't get their concept or uncomfortable are the people who got their ideas from their own heads or twitter. If you actually took the time to watch the entire SM conference 2017 and 2020 you will understand aespa. SM spoke about aespa in 2017! They are not a copy of K/Da. If you followed the group you would understand the song and the meaning and the video. Their lyrics were different, something that you don’t see in Kpop. But here are people like saying it’s generic. I don’t understand why people don’t get that the AI are just an extension of the girls, they won’t take over. But anyways people are just concerned and projecting their own insecurities onto this concept without actually taking the time to wait and see or do their own research. Wait of course they do their own research, on Twitter.
@@Justdance6336 wdym?😂yeh I’ve been a kpop fan for technically a year in 2018 I only listened to Blackpink then last year in June I got into red velvet then started listening to more groups so it’s been one year.
First group I ever saw debut was TXT so yeah, I’m new as well. I’m definitely going to stan Aespa I love the song, the video, and the dance so much, plus they are all pretty.
I honestly love the concept for Aespa! SM always has something new and different for their groups. And while this song isn’t anything innovative give them time to grow into a sound that feels like them. Look at Exo or Red Velvet’s debuts, while neither one of their debuts was bad it wasn’t jaw dropping, but look at them now they are killing the game! I’m so excited to see what the future holds for Aespa!
@@doudoulapin468 Once YG’s new girl group debuts, it’ll be like Red velvet, Twice and Blackpink all over again. So get ready because the comparisons are just going to get worse.
I feel like at the end of the day, it’ll be the four girls. Not four human members and four virtual members, but just four girls, who trained and worked so hard to be here. I think the whole “AI members” was just a random statement that was meant to distract the media and public from sm’s controversies right now. Basically, the whole AI thing was just a publicity stunt. There were barely any scenes with the AI members in the mv, which I’m glad. But, Sm is smart in that aspect, I feel these virtual members aren’t going to be permanent, but it’ll mean that they can save money by not paying resources to cater to the real/human members in the group when it comes to fashion, makeup and hair, whilst or if they perform at music shows and concerts. These virtual members are also very easy to erase, they are disposable; like any form of technology, and they can be primarily used for marketing, advertisements or promotions. With a loose connection towards to the group dynamic, where aespa itself also don’t rely on the AI members for singing certain parts in a song or having specific choreo to add to anything personalised, it's very clever, it's controversial and different and SM knows exactly what they are doing. I guess it’ll be interesting where they take this group, really, I’m so curious.
@@niqueh2828 Exactly! Bkack mamba is kinda of a virus that is separating the girls and æs apart. Now we just got to see if their are just going to move on or repair the damage
I really don't see the resemblance between Karina and Taeyeon. Winter and Taeyeon yes they look so much alike but Karina looks more like Sohee and Hara than Taeyeon to me. I don't see a Taeyeon feature in her face.
ji sol she also looks like her too, ok omg Um, go to Taeyeon’s music video spark and go back to Aesop’s music video and focus on Karina or go on google to and look at photos of them and compare. 😊
This was a solid debut and it was definitely what I expected. Sure it’s the song again probably wasn’t like the best thing in the whole wide world like I thought, but they are so talented! I just really want to see their stages!
The song was ok in my opinion . I felt like SM kind of promoted it a little too much, because we all got pumped from the teasers excepting the best of the best and it was extremely flatlined and mediocre. The MV was amazing the budget was through the roof, some parts actually gave me g idle, kda, and itzy vibes. I also love winters voice especially in the bridge. Overall it was ok I don’t think it’ll grow on me because the chorus and I weren’t vibing. Personally I think If they weren’t from SM it wouldn’t have as much clout but that’s just my opinion. Nevertheless I wish these girls the best!!
about the accusations of plagiarism, I don’t agree with the majority, but the one of the German artist, in the part of the snake in the subway it is explicit plagiarism sm doing shit as always
@@andinho6372 generic?? It's a gigantic snake in an abandoned, vegetated subway. That's EXTREMELY specific and it is plagiarism. He deleted the accusations because sm fans were sending him hate
Idk, for me aespa hits like more of a middle-of-the-road feeling? Like, I don't feel like Black Mamba really caught my attention musically. The MV and the choreo were stunning, obviously, but song-wise, I felt like there's nothing it provided that couldn't have been provided by another song. they definitely have a lot of talent, so SM really needs to step it up with the songwriting to keep up imo
I think the song was supposed to be more like an introduction to aespa and their concept because both the lyrics and mv were quite focused on the concept so maybe their next project will be more different and new
The snake in the M/V represents a spirit that is blocking their AI side. This means they they are not yet at their full potential. In my opinion there will be someone (evil or good) coming into their next comeback. You can see this at the end of the M/V. I’m very excited to see how they incorporate their other side into their songs. This is only the beginning so please don’t hate them. I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t want to be hated on not even 24 hours since you were introduced. I’m lucky enough to be able to Stan them and I just hope that you guys can do the same. “Just like how a butterfly can create a hurricane by flapping its wings, please look forward to the growth of aespa”. -Ning Ning
@@augustjheadari653 You're right about that but seeing people hateful towards ai is absurb. Virtual ai has already exist since 2004 though, research is matter unless you're lazy.
I'm uncomfortable with the concept of there being a digital avatar of each girl that the fans can basically "own" (super uncomfortable). The digital avatars are also ripe for causing unhealthy body expectations and body dysmorphia as they will constantly be compared to the girls if the concept persists. Kpop already has super unhealthy body standards, and the digital avatars will just make this worse. These are my main 2 concerns with the concept.
That's how digital avatar are. Even if you look at male digital avatars it's the same thing. I dont see their bodies as that different from the members anyways obviously they'll look different because they're not human. Honestly, people should learn not to feel insecure over non human bodies like it doesnt make sense. It's like being insecure of an alien. Also if someone has a good body that doesnt mean that you have to feel insecure about yourself. Learn to love yourself for who you are.
I think they did a really generic song because they wanted to debut with a safe song and not like a risky one cuz it's their debut you know. I think that in the future they'll do more risky things and a rap part for Giselle
As I first listened to the song the intro sound somehow similar to Mr.Mr (SNSD) .. then Karina first part also similar to I got a boy(SNSD) hehehe just my opinion cause on the past days I listen to SNSD songs so I found it quite similar PS:sorry for my bad english
It’s just competition after competition. Toxicity after toxicity. Views after views. Nowadays, that’s what basically every Kpop fans care about. I’m sick of it.
Its a circus atp and no offense the fans taste in music is going downhill literally,im not someone who judges ppls taste in music but it has to be said
Everything can't be mindblowing at a debut. Like with some idols, it takes them years of hard work after debut to become successful or have a hit song, so I understand how aespa's debut was impressive for other groups and meh for some. I believe aespa will still grow to be unique and successful but for now they're still doing a pretty amazing job as a rookie group. I love them already so I'm going to stan :)
I actually had the opposite reaction, I really liked the song after just one listen! And that’s very unusual for me bc I’m not a big gg Stan. And I get why they didn’t do something “out of the box” for their debut, maybe they’ll experiment more later on once aespa is a bit more established but right now their goal is to appeal to the broad public and have a solid debut that’s fits the current popular style. And I’m ok with that. I love their voices and the dance move during the chorus is so cool! Their visuals are of course stunning, but that’s kind of a given with SM ^^ My takeaway on the debut is: lots of potential and excited what else they’ll show us in the future!
Really tho aespa ROOKIE OF THE YEAR they have EVEYTHING, visual(stunning thats it), dance(eveyone legit looks like main dancers), VOCALS(like WOOO) Aespa is not going to be the nest Red Velvet they are going to be the next aespa Edit:intro and outros are BETTER THEN EVER
@@trishikdas1050 well yg is not gonna stay silent they will definitely debut a korean focused group too i hope we finally get a GOOD rapper and well big hit is unpredictable who knows!!
honest opinion? i liked black mamba, but i think if their debut concept might’ve been more “experimental” if they were debuting outside of the new SM universe narrative, but it just became the focus of the song imo
Honestly, at first, I was kind of concerned about the whole virtual members but I was still excited about the whole concept. But then Isaw the avatars and I was relieved since they don't look exactly like them which is a good decision in my opinion. Also, I understand where you're coming from but I also understand why they went for a generic debut. I have noticed that this is something that most kpop companies do. They start with a more common concept to kind of test the waters and then they experiment more. Especially that they are doing something completely different with the whole AI avatars so they did not want it to be too weird. I'm guessing they will start experimenting more in future comebacks after they see the public's reactions to this group. Overall I'm super excited !!!! love them already.
That's a good point. People already too shocked with the whole concept and too experimental song might make it worst. They might become more experimental with more comebacks.
I love their debut and the production etc. But I feel people are judging them too hard 1. They just debuted we have many more years to other songs to come out 2. Don't expect every song to be good if u didn't like this song it's ok :) 3. You guys really have to stop comparing ppl tho others like Jesus yes I do mean ”YOU GUYS”. Overall good luck to the girls and SM
While nothing particularly stands out, I already feel like I have enough to stan because these girls are clearly LEAKING talent. The vocals were incredibly strong, which I think is something we need in 4th gen right now. Obviously the dance ability and visuals and stage presence are there. Giselle really stands out to me as a rapper, her tone is not something I've really heard before and I think she has great potential (I wish this song would have let her pop off more like in her teaser). I see a lot more talent in this group compared to a lot of fourth gen groups. I also think they are incredibly well balanced, they all seem to complement each other really well, and I think they'll have excellent group chemistry. While yes, this wasn't the most amazing debut ever, they clearly proved themselves, so for that reason I'm really excited to see what they do next.
The truth is that Loo Sooman is an old man. Aespa is a boomer's idea of a 2020's high tech. AI, avatars, do not make the concept innovative nor particularly new. I like the song & the MV but looking back at RV's debut with the soul & R&B releases followed up with the quirky Happiness was much more shockingly "new" to me at that time.
U do know that LSM litertally studied computer and programing before venturing out to music. His passion for technology and innovation is often overlooked. He literally named a group Neo Culture Technology. So SM knows what they are doing. They love their technology just saying.
@@aerifries8230 LSM went to SNU back in the early 70's, dude. That's exactly what I mean, he's idea of "futuristic" technology is an extension of his earlier years, dressed up in today's headlines.
@@rinastronaut9154 actually, the real innovations are the virtual sets, online fan interactions, camera and filming technologies, CGI integrations, etc. Oh, hell yeah, LSM is a genius for investing in his team of creative & artistic teams for sure.

With no intent to disrespect any of the members, as they're all beautiful and obviously talented, but BLACK MAMBA was not it for me. I only liked the bridge and ayayaya part ^^;; They have good vocals and I really liked the dancing. Music Video wise, honestly, I can see why many people like it but, for me personally, it had too much popping up and too much going on making me not being able to focus and appreciate any of the parts, and not really enjoying the song I don't get the urge to rewatch it just to catch every single element of it. I kinda missed a rap in it ^^; I hope the rapper gets a bit more on the next comeback. So far I don't stan them, Idk if I ever will, but I will be looking forward to their comeback and supporting the girls, because once more they seem talented and they don't deserve the hate they're getting.
i love how when i first heard the song it was only "okay" to me too, but then, BUT THEN, i listened to it a few more times and now it's lowkey kind of stuck in my head oof.
The song itself is average, I'll be completely honest. The production, the layering, the beat, it sounds generic. "Noise" music if you will. However, these girls vocals.... I hear it. They sound fantastic! For a debut group too!? Their voices sound so mature, alluring, and I can totally see the potential in these girls. This is the thing I like about SM artists. They are vocally trained, yes, but they're trained to use their natural voices and not in a certain way. You can hear it. Anyways, I'm super excited to see the future of Aespa and what else they have in store for us! We never know with SM, lol. Aespa fighting!!!!!!!!
@@pinkblood6235 Let’s not do that. You don’t have to bring one group down to uplift another. And your statement still doesn’t justify how Black Mamba isn’t “noise”.

@@pinkblood6235 I’m saying you don’t have to bring NCT into this discussion to make a point. You could’ve just said BM isn’t noise, and make a clear point as to how it isn’t noise.
I only like Winter tbh. And for a Big 3 debut, it was kinda underwhelming in my opinion. But their vocals were great (as expected from a SM group). And this whole avatar concept is the main reason why I'm probably not gonna stan them. I'm sorry but it seems kinda unethic to me. The way their avatars are built body wise, we were already on a better way to stop dehumanizing idols and now this.
i dont really get it when ppl say "it sounds like a comeback not a debut" like i genuinely don't know, what does a debut song sound like that it's different to a comeback song?
I really wanted to love the song since SM sold the group as something revolutionary, but I felt like I've heard the song a million times before. It really wasn't something new, we've seen choreography like that and heard songs like that so many times in kpop. And it's not the girls fault at all, they're very well rounded and I do think they have potential, but it didn't amaze me. I'm excited for their debut stage, tho
SM is always being original, so it's underwhelming that they did a girl crush concept. SM has bad debuts anyways, so hopefully they'll get better songs.
Coming back here 11 months after the 4th gen queens' debut, Real Time All Kill for Savage + 2nd Place in October Girl Group Brand Reputation + Luxury Brand Ambassadors, not to mention the 24 hrs views of their mvs for a new group 😉 Yes they are the 4th gen leaders, this video aged well 🔥
I actually really liked the chorus, it had to be one of my favorite parts and the choreography along with it makes it hit even harder. The AI concept doesn't really bother me that much especially since it wasn't the focus of the music video, I wish aespa the best of luck
I'm quite picky with who I listen to when it comes to k-pop but I have to admit. I'm impressed. Theyre good, they're really really good. The teasers barely showed their full capabilities which is why I didn't expect them to be this talented. Although it might be too early, they already remind me of DBSK in terms of skills. We haven't seen their live performance but I do have very high expectations of them based on this debut. Also the song. I love the song. It was not something I expected from an SM girl group but they executed it phenomenally. They definitely exceeded my expectations and they set the bar high. I'm excited and looking forward to their bright future.
I can tell that Aespa focused on more vocals, dancing and performance in their debut and don't get me wrong their jack of all trades, all arounders and such talented individuals. I know for sure that next comeback they'll able to meet expectations. They are probably not hitting hard yet but soon enough I wouldn't even be surprised if the next comeback will shine even more, all the love for Aespa ❤️
For me, the song is a BOP. It exceed my expectation for a rookie gg. I'm so proud of aespa. For me its a perfect 10 👌 Maybe the reason that is why, your expectation become low is because of you, setting a high standard to a rookie gg. It is just their debut song, it is just like a introduction of their group. Let's just wait for their future comebacks and see what they really got. I know there is nothing wrong setting a high expectation to them, especially they are from SM. But do not think that this is their last song, that they should already show everything that they got. There is a process for that. It is much better to take little step, than bigger one. Little step doesn't mean you are slow or lazy, it just mean that your just taking your time to process it all and slowly showing the real you.
I like the idea and the concept around this group. However, the theme in my opinion, their idea is very similar Cherry Bullet and K/DA. I really hope they don’t get a a lot of hate because of a similar concept! I agree with that I want to repeat the song too and the song is really mediocre!
I've only watched one cherry bullet mv but I've listened to a couple of songs and I don't see the similarity? Besides sm groups never do the same concept twice so maybe their comeback is probably going to be completely different
I think my very similar in thought... the debut was very good, you can see their talent and the hard work they have put into it. I like the mv and the song but I felt something was missing, my problem is I don’t know what it is. I’m definitely interested in the group, their stage performances and what comes next. My only real hope for the group is that the Ai characters aren’t too heavily used, I like the amount we saw them in the mv (a little with the main focus obviously on the actual members) and I hope it stays the same or very similar. This is because I here for the girls and their music not the Ai character but anyway. Overall happy with the debut and excited for more and to learn about the girls.
I think the debut is quite decent actually. I liked the song from the very first listen and while I do think it's more mainstream than expected I think it was what it had to be: a catchy song that showcased aespa's talent. As you mentioned I think this is the first 4th gen girl group that actually impressed me with vocals and the dancing doesn't fall far behind. The visuals were great. I think they might have a comeback in the very near future and that's when they might do something more experimental (that red and black karina clip looks like a teaser for their next project). Red Velvet also had a good debut but imo it didn't have that wow factor either and look at them now. I'm seeing lots of mixed reactions about this debut but lets see a week from now everyone will be covering the song
it sadly wasn’t groundbreaking in any way. but neither was dalla dalla and now itzy is absolutely dominating. when it comes to big4 groups they never really lose. their companies will pour tons of money on them until we’re obsessed. and it always works.
I wasn’t that excited about them after the whole timing of their announcement and all the rumors around them. The song felt unbearable to me, I can’t listen to it, the chorus it’s just bad, I feel u in there but i don’t think this will grow on me. The mv is amazing, it’s beautiful and I like how they had this avatar vibe (it’s my fave movie) but at the same time I feel like they delivered something “safe” like it’s something ppl r gonna like, it’s nothing revolutionary or different so yeah...however the whole ai things isn’t my cup of tea tbh. Am I the only one who thinks this song is similar or reminisce of one of itzys song, I think it’s cherry And yeah i also agree with the underwhelming feeling about the song not being that different or that stands out like they made it look by the teasers and vibe, the standards were way to high in my side and I felt disappointed.

I don’t understand how many ppl didnt like it but I guess it’s their preference lol. To me I like it alot 💖
I loved Aespa's debut, the song is really great in my opinion and they look so professional already. When they first announced the virtual part of the group I was really curious about how it would look, and I'm still curious about how they would use it in the future. Also, I was excpeting a fairy type song as well, the first concept photos just looked like they came straight out a fairy tale / space something (was kind of expecting a music video similair to break free by Ariana for a while) but I did really like the song when I heard it. I definetly became a stan right away **and NingNing was also the first person to catch my attention, but now I'm not sure who my bias is yet, NingNing or Winter probably, but Giselle is close too sometimes**
I got confused when sm was saying about those a.I technology and characters but it is like girl crush only BTW love the mv and the song I won't say its bad at all Maybe I can stan that group in future
After Aespa debut, I realised... Itzy’s Dalla Dalla was such a gooood debut cuz even tho it’s weird and still not my kinda song, Itzy managed to sound different and unique The chanting and the very harsh transitions with funky instrumentals have all become an Itzy trademark so yknow what JYP? I should have given you more credits As for Aespa, ehhh the views are incredible but the song itself is ehh atm I’ll need to hear the next song but I must say rn NingNing is like OOOOF so amazing I’ll keep a look out for what SM will pull next
i personally liked the song and mv, but the plagiarism accusations surrounding the group make me sad since the girls seems so nice. sm has bucketloads of money so idk how they still can’t come up with original stuff...but anyways i’m gonna stan and hopefully their next release will do better.
SM groups get hated upon debut, and æspa received hate before their debut. However, their seniors became successful and famous. æspa is definitely a group to watch for.
I think SM's goal is to have a group to complete against BP. I see too many similarities, 4members, visuals, and dance.. I think BP has created their image and swag and I agree , aespa has a long way to catch to create their unique sound. I agree, nothing is wow and what you expect coming from SM and in this generation.
mamamoo and 2ne1 debuted before bp and had/has 4 members, visuals and dance... blackpink concept was stolen from 2ne1, there a lot of songs and demos created for 2ne1 that bp has relesead. they didn't came up with girl crush, they're just the most famous group doing it right now.
same here, idk if it is because i had some uhm high expectations but i think the song is actually flat, especially in the chorus. choreo, styling, and some mv's parts are veeery familiar because they're literally from other kpop groups so... i really like all of their vocals - sm never disappoints under this part, but i'm not feeling this debut right now maybe a live performance will change my mind! hopefully new music will come out soon.
@@uniquelee for real he actually explained himself and then deleted his story, idk the exact details bec it was all a screenshot and i didn't save it unfortunately. But that's the catch
I love the group, there talented, all of them are gorgeous and lastly i feel that someday they will be the best among the best same as how i feel to red velvet, gfriend and mamamoo before.
The MV was kinda... Messy to me like thousands things happen on the screen at the same time. The part where Karina sitting on the throne was out of place and unnecessary. Their debut was overhyped in my opinion. But maybe SM is doing sth for their first comeback and maybe I will vibe with it. Aespa kinda remind me of itzy in a way. People hated them at first but look at them now a monster rookie with numerous achievements. Maybe people will appreciate aespa more in their comeback. Only time will tell
I thought it was so clear from the like teaser, the photos we were getting and the song title this was going to be like a dance heavy song, not like say a typical Mamamoo song, lol! I genuinely like the song actually, the visuals, the vocals, concept, the whole thing. They are very clearly trying to target a different market to Red Velvet, which makes sense, and interested what will happen in the future as it feels like there is A LOT to come... Will Helen join, what will they do with their KDA esque personas, how many new members may they add, how that might change things...
*_in my opinion,_* their debut was underwhelming and lack luster. I felt like it was a comeback and not a debut. Aespa looks very interesting but what disappointed me the most was the lack of the 'AI' concept in their debut. All of the teasers had shown some sort of link to technology and their AI concept all for it to be removed in the music video. It would've been more interesting if they included lots of the AI and Tech into the video because looking at it, without the AI and tech, black mamba doesn't really have anything special to offer. I heavily agree with the part that yes, I wanna love this song but I just can't. I feel so bad for the girls because knetz is eating them up. IDK if all these rumors and allegations are some sort of SM strategy to bring attention to the girls. I'm definitely hoping that SM turns this around because the girls seem talented and have big potential.

actually feel the exact opposite. ive never seen such a stable debut imo, i feel like so many debuts just have one good thing lol, dalla dallas only good part was the choreo, happiness only good part was wendys bridge, ooh ahhh only good part was the song but this debut was literally perfect. i love the song, mv, outfits and choreo. i feel like the surprising part of this debut was the choreo being impressive... we dont typically ever get impressive choreo from sm girl groups but we got hit with so much talent. dancing was amazing, vocals as expected gorgeous, visuals were top notch... even though it was girl crush i feel like it was a very pink girl crush. lately we’re gotten a lot of dark girl crush concepts and this felt still really girly and i loved it. personally i think ppl are just looking for a reason not to like it because they think red velvet is getting replaced. but we just have to admit it, they are monster rookies and are definitely going somewhere. also i wouldnt be surprised if there cb is experimental and sm just wanted to establish a stable fan base first...

@@freshavocado727 Don't forget big hit's is gonna have a new girl group soon,
I feel like at the end of the day, it’ll be the four girls.

They sound fantastic! For a debut group too!? Their voices sound so mature, alluring, and I can totally see the potential in these girls. This is the thing I like about SM artists. tbh im obsessed with their debut song idk how everyones too hard on them
Honestly speaking no hate my absolute opinion, but I just didn't like the song 😕 but I'm sure they'll be amazing but I just can't stan.
Same.
agree
Me too but I still think imma stan being they seem sweet
Same but i want to like it
same. like i want to like the song and want to stan but the song itself was just completely underwhelming
i dont really get it when ppl say "it sounds like a comeback not a debut" like i genuinely don't know, what does a debut song sound like that it's different to a comeback song?
I really wanted to love the song since SM sold the group as something revolutionary, but I felt like I've heard the song a million times before. It really wasn't something new, we've seen choreography like that and heard songs like that so many times in kpop. And it's not the girls fault at all, they're very well rounded and I do think they have potential, but it didn't amaze me. I'm excited for their debut stage, tho
SM is always being original, so it's underwhelming that they did a girl crush concept. SM has bad debuts anyways, so hopefully they'll get better songs.
Well it's the most weird girl crush concept i ever seen. And I agree that SM doesn't have the best debuts.
Juan Suarez except for shinee's
@@kelseyleeves8514 yes there's a few exceptions like shinee.

I think superm's debut is excellent :)
NingNing is adorable to me..😭🥺
Coming back here 11 months after the 4th gen queens' debut, Real Time All Kill for Savage + 2nd Place in October Girl Group Brand Reputation + Luxury Brand Ambassadors, not to mention the 24 hrs views of their mvs for a new group 😉
Yes they are the 4th gen leaders, this video aged well 🔥
I actually really liked the chorus, it had to be one of my favorite parts and the choreography along with it makes it hit even harder.
For me its a perfect 10 👌
Maybe the reason that is why, your expectation become low is because of you, setting a high standard to a rookie gg.
How is it similar to cherry bullet?
I've only watched one cherry bullet mv but I've listened to a couple of songs and I don't see the similarity? Besides sm groups never do the same concept twice so maybe their comeback is probably going to be completely different
the song sounds like itzy’s cherry🤷♀️ they seem talented, hope they’re going okay because i hate the virtual member “concept”
SM said that they would make an application in which fans can also make their own avatar just like the members have.
Really??
woah thats kinda cool
I WAS WAITING FOR THIS ONE TURN IT UP
I think the debut is quite decent actually. I'm seeing lots of mixed reactions about this debut but lets see a week from now everyone will be covering the song
i love their concept, i never seen something like that in the kpop industry. Im excited to watch them grow.
it sadly wasn’t groundbreaking in any way. but neither was dalla dalla and now itzy is absolutely dominating. when it comes to big4 groups they never really lose. their companies will pour tons of money on them until we’re obsessed. and it always works.
I loved the song- I legit have a great feeling for this group
I wasn’t that excited about them after the whole timing of their announcement and all the rumors around them.
The song felt unbearable to me, I can’t listen to it, the chorus it’s just bad, I feel u in there but i don’t think this will grow on me.
The mv is amazing, it’s beautiful and I like how they had this avatar vibe (it’s my fave movie) but at the same time I feel like they delivered something “safe” like it’s something ppl r gonna like, it’s nothing revolutionary or different so yeah...however the whole ai things isn’t my cup of tea tbh.
Am I the only one who thinks this song is similar or reminisce of one of itzys song, I think it’s cherry
And yeah i also agree with the underwhelming feeling about the song not being that different or that stands out like they made it look by the teasers and vibe, the standards were way to high in my side and I felt disappointed.
umm.....you’re exaggerating
@@blink-my2955 that’s yr opinion, mine is different, it’s not exaggerating it’s simply expressing what I like and don’t about something and seems like u don’t like what I said so......
@@Cademslibrary Yeah but you said it in an exxagerated way. The song really isn’t even that bad to the people that don’t like the song or them. It’s not even just a matter of taste just say you find it boring and skidaddle
@@blink-my2955 well honey the song isn’t bad to me or boring, this comment was made the day of its release and opinions change so what r u expecting? Everyone has different opinions and ways to express them, if u think those are exaggerations well it’s you. Many people loved it and many others forgot about it bc it’s not their taste, if they want to express it like I did in the comment let them be, just bc u r a fan doesn’t mean u need to go around telling people how to express their feelings. + I’m not a fluent English speaker so it’s hard to write things sometimes, if I sounded way to rude or whatever sorry, but that’s the only way I found to express myself.
As a fan of the girls I wa expecting much more, their presence is amazing and so are their visuals but the song and mv aren’t my particular taste and I’m going to respectfully say that, weather ppl like it or not. That’s how life works
@@Cademslibrary you didn’t say it “respectfully” but wfyb
On my part this S O N G is SO good like my replay button is shook rn idk why but this song is stuck in my head 24/7 and the music video in my opinion is a really good one and i like the concept and members i mean its nothing new but its really good
Honestly, this song is surprisingly boring for SM. Even the SM groups I don't like have mostly interesting music.
exactly
agree
true. i thought i'd get the hype after a few listens but it's not just... it
usually with sm debuts there's something new and unique in the debut but now it just seems generic but their vocals are good tho
Agree
When I first heard the song I was so shocked and amazed, I loved the dance and their vocals even the song itself is amazing. I kept listening to it on loop. The girls are GORGEOUS and talented. I don’t understand how many ppl didnt like it but I guess it’s their preference lol. To me I like it alot 💖
i dont agree with the "4th gen leaders" however they have talents and there also cute, ITZY will be my 4th gen leaders kkk
No I don't think so :D
I think ITZY and Treasure will be pretty much the 4th gen leaders!
Imo we all have our own 4th gen leaders 😹 Mine's loona and everglow
4th gen leaders are most probably gidle and txt they just have something different than other groups

I got confused when sm was saying about those a.I technology and characters but it is like girl crush only
BTW love the mv and the song I won't say its bad at all
Maybe I can stan that group in future
I loved the song. I mean REALLY

Gurl I literally watch ur videos during my online classes your channel is literally so nice im obsessed
After Aespa debut, I realised... Itzy’s Dalla Dalla was such a gooood debut cuz even tho it’s weird and still not my kinda song, Itzy managed to sound different and unique
The chanting and the very harsh transitions with funky instrumentals have all become an Itzy trademark so yknow what JYP? I should have given you more credits
As for Aespa, ehhh the views are incredible but the song itself is ehh atm I’ll need to hear the next song but I must say rn NingNing is like OOOOF so amazing I’ll keep a look out for what SM will pull next
This is the earliest i've ever been!!! i love your videos so much!!!♥️♥️
i personally liked the song and mv, but the plagiarism accusations surrounding the group make me sad since the girls seems so nice. sm has bucketloads of money so idk how they still can’t come up with original stuff...but anyways i’m gonna stan and hopefully their next release will do better.
I listen to the the song atleast 7+ times but still don't remember what the song sounds like. It was a good song but not memorable
I like this song but I did listen to it multiple times it’s not memorable tho

I want to ask are they doing well in kcharts. Are their digitals good. Yes I know they have the most viewed debut music video but is their song doing well in Korea and are knez loving them
@@amakaberlinda9479 nope not really. The last i saw they only charted in two charts and its in the 40s and 80s.
Do y’all want the AI or not some are complaining ab “over sexualisation” and other saying “Barely no screen time or AI’s” y’all don’t know what you want and it shows
Idk why your opinions are everything💗
When she said that the Chorus sucked while it’s my favorite it part 👁👄👁
Well RV debuted with happiness of all songs and look where they are now lmao I’m satisfied
out of context but can you do a video on how you make your videos?
actually feel the exact opposite. ive never seen such a stable debut imo, i feel like so many
debuts just have one good thing lol, dalla dallas only good part was the choreo, happiness only good part was wendys bridge, ooh ahhh only good part was the song but this debut was literally perfect. i love the song, mv, outfits and choreo. i feel like the surprising part of this debut was the choreo being impressive... we dont typically ever get impressive choreo from sm girl groups but we got hit with so much talent. dancing was amazing, vocals as expected gorgeous, visuals were top notch... even though it was girl crush i feel like it was a very pink girl crush. lately we’re gotten a lot of dark girl crush concepts and this felt still really girly and i loved it. personally i think ppl are just looking for a reason not to like it because they think red velvet is getting replaced. but we just have to admit it, they are monster rookies and are definitely going somewhere. also i wouldnt be surprised if there cb is experimental and sm just wanted to establish a stable fan base first...
It’s drastic change from other groups indeed 🤣🤣 They can all sing and dance, something most idols cannot do.
love love love loveeee the intro queen
