The soloist when they sang Toto's 'Africa' in this piece is founding member, Dan Ponce, who adapted and arranged this 12 Days of Christmas. Dan is currently a television newscaster in Chicago, IL. The group originated at Indiana University in 1996.

So this just popped in my feed in the second week of January, so I apologize for being a little late. This video is what started the modern acapella craze. This exact video went viral in the early days of RUclips somewhere around 2003, because of this video straight No Chaser reunited and became a professional tour group, which still tours to this day. Shortly after this video went viral is when the sing-off, the acapella TV show started, which gave us Pentatonix and Home Free.

These dudes are great! Hope you catch some more of their songs. Especially as they religiously (😊) will sing CHRISTIAN Christmas songs during their annual fall tours. They also cover plenty of ‘regular’ pop songs, from Elvis to Dua Lipa, which they also mix into their annual fall tours and more. They just performed a Blues Bros Medley on the Rose Parade!
