    • @HDTH

      For sure and it works great! I can only imagine a bigger blower. We also tried a battery leaf blower works great and a lot quieter. Just need a lot of batteries or a generator far away from you.

    is it true that dry washers can only be up to 80% capture rate because of air losses compared with water .. (water having a density where air doesnt really) ...

    • @HDTH
      @HDTH  Год назад

      that is true but you can make adjustments to improve capture rate such as run dirt a second time, flattening your angle and turn air down to capture more fine gold. If the dirt is damp out out on a tarp in the sun to dry more before you run it. Things like that. If I had the choice to use water I would high bank but here in New Mexico most washes are dry

    Nice! Just bought a new drywasher from Keene and went out to use it and no oil in the case. Luckily I checked it. Used my buddy's machine instead. Would like to try it out now that I added oil. Lol. What part of Arizona were you working? Was it a club claim? Joe gold

    Fantastic video!!!! I have moved down to Arizona and am struggling finding consistent gold. I am finding some gold but not much to get excited about. When I run my drywasher I usually get 0.20 of a gram for a whole day. About a yard of dirt. I tried a new claim and was cherry picking some bedrock pockets and found some really nice pickers. But I don't really know where to go from here on where to dig for best results on this wash with my drywasher. Banks, on bedrock underneath the flow sand areas, inside corners? Need help
    On where to dig with my machine.
    Thanks Red

    @highdeserttreasurehunters what size is the pan you’re using to pan your cons?

      Hello @mattytube18, most of the time we use a 14-16” and push material quickly. Sometime the small one 8” for the fines and go a little slower. Do you have a preference on pan size?

      @@HDTH Thank you! Question… I found a pocket on bedrock near my house near an old old river in Azusa canyons. Is it ok to collect all those quartz rocks and can I extract gold from them. • @HDTH
      @HDTH  6 месяцев назад

      @alex_jermaine the easiest and safest method is crush the quartz and pan it. If you are finding it that easy on the surface you might want to check out the bed rock and crevice and pan.
