I sat on this thing for the two years since I rehosted this MAP because it was an incredibly daunting task, and rightfully so, a lot of work went into this 100% pure no shortcuts no funny business frame by frame animation. It feels like I've been working on this for months but it surprisingly only took three weeks despite how much I had to innovate to get the look right.
Shoutout to ‪@yourfriendpel‬ for helping me nail down the atmosphere of this part, inspired by the haze of a wildfire. I knew I wanted the sky to look a bit funky in this part and my original idea was something more on the pink spectrum, but this was definitely the way to go.
