    As a 3D printer and Wrangler owner I absolutely love seeing stuff like this. I just purchased a 2024 Wrangler and you are right on that some of those things won't work. I'm unfortunately not up on how to model my own files much beyond just simple limited tinkercad designs. Awesome job sir!

    My son just got a 3d printer. He made me some things but I really like the part you made to keep that spare tire from making so much noise.

    I did the same sort of thing for my spare on my bronco. I put a 1.5 in pvc pipe and a rubber boot over the pipe that stuck out in the original bump stop. I had to once I got after market wheels.

      Yeah I see it all the time. It definitely recuses the rattle when you bump stop it.

    The drone mount, though! Would love to buy the files for my DJI Mini Pro 4. Would really be an awesome addition.

    I really like the drone mount. I can see that making a mount for every drone and mounting location can be way too much. You can make a mount for a few popular drones with a "universal" back. Then mounting location bracket with a "universal" face. Make and sell as a two part kit. Drone specific clip and location specific bracket. Gives more flexibility. We Jeepers love flexibility and customized products. The opportunity to mix and match clips and mounts would be great.

      Yeah I would love to do that. There are, like you said a lot of options though.

    3d projects are the best way to test new products before mass production. What I would like to see is covers for all those roll bar plastics. The one where you mounted a GoPro. I think those concaves with the screws look awful. A printed part with a good magnet to hold it to the screw head would look better. If the demand is high enough, then a molded cover like the grab handle covers would work great. Remove screw, install retainer, snap cover over.

      Yeah, I haven’t look at the 2024 yet. With some of the refinements, they make have done something similar to what you describe? Good idea either way.

    how can we get the prints?

    have you thought about just selling the file for people to print themselves?

    • @ajarmour
      @ajarmour  8 месяцев назад +1

      Never really thought of it. But its a great idea. Honestly i wasn't sure a lot of people who watch my jeep stuff would be 3d printers but it looks like I was wrong.

      @@ajarmourthere’s always something to fix or modify so it’s a good extension of it honestly. There’s tons of other files on 3dcult and printables as well
