C-17 EXTREMELY short, MAXIMUM power take-off

Rather than touching down at its intended destination - the MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida - the C-17 landed at the Peter O Knight "general aviation" airport.
The civilian runway is 3,405 feet long, less than a third the size of the runway 4 miles southwest at MacDill. This is the high powered, very short runway take--off to leave. #c17globemaster
