I think this is really #39, even though it's labeled #29. I've watched every one from the beginning, and the series is fabulous. Remember how in the 90's they told us the internet would bring interesting and education presentations from all sorts of voices we didn't usually hear? Well, amid all the noise, it's finally arrived. Thank you Kathy!
I’m a radiology tech and I was busy looking for a nicer way of describing the history of X-rays. I am now going through all of the videos on this channel. 😄
hello, your video is great and I love it! May i please know what articles you've used in making this? Because i also got homework to study about Mr. Rontgen's life : )
I can't help clicking on like even before the end of the intro. Fascinating. I wish my kids were fluent in english to be able to listen to your fabulous history of electricity.
Bonjour! I got my frog electrifying videos from these lovely french folks at www.ampere.cnrs.fr/histoire/ that might be something that your kids would like.
great video! Thank you for the information, I will use this on my weekly live show today, I do a segment called this day in history! Do you mind if I add your video to the end cards? Thank you
@@Kathy_Loves_Physics loved it and I will add it to the end card so that my audience can learn more-Great job, subscriber for sure and keep up the good lessons!
i wish you would reproduce each experiment slowly and teach us how to reproduce these experiments in our homes. i am so confused by fundamental physics. 😮😮😮
So there are boundless Tesla conspiracy enthusiasts out there. Supposedly Tesla was experimenting with x-rays as early as 1894 but never really knew what they were. He himself said this in 1897 at the NY Academy of Sciences. His lab burned down in 1895 and he lost momentum on that particular work. He was dancing all around it (like many others) so he may have figured it out without the fire. He did take some cool pictures at some point.

Thank you so much. I just read your comment out loud to my husband because it was so lovely. ❤️
@@Kathy_Loves_Physics you have a husband? wow 😮😮😮 he’s sooooo lucky 🍀 ❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Rontgen was one of the greatest scientists of all time.Great because of his X ray experiment

Lol August's surname. Well done saying it multiple times without cracking up. This is a very bingeworthy channel. Good work.
She pronounced it wrongly. The "u" in Kundt is pronounced like in "Dachshund".

Kathy Loves Physics Thank you! I'll forward this to my son who's in high school (he's 16).
I hope you cover chemistry videos someday. And more in physics ( Light, nobel prizes). Loved the content.
Greetings:
Somehow episode #39 (xrays and Roentgen) is labeled as #29 at the closing of the episode.
In the Russian language, a medical X-ray is still called a "Roentgen" to this day :)
Same in Japan.
Roentgen was also a measure of radioactivity. 😊

Sure that would be nice. Glad you liked it.

Every hospital companies: HE IS THE MESSIAH!
Thanks this helped me a lot in my homework
Glad it helped!
Although I agree with this, how does it compare with Tesla, and how he first experimented with X-Rays?

Thanks

i wish your videos were slower and more detailed. especially as far as the fundamental physics is concerned.
