Jim Pike made every song sound so sexy and alluring. We know it's him and how so sad that he's not around anymore. We could have had him for another ten years of his talent and beautiful voice. I will always love Jim Pike.
RIP Ric de Azevedo of "Reunion" this past March (just learned of his passing this past week).
RIP Bob Engemann. Miss your voice. Does anyone know why Donny Pike was never a part of Reunion? Have all three Pike brothers ever sung together?
Donny was still part of the Lettermen when Reunion was put together... We all sang together on the later Lettermen albums for Capitol.....
@@mrgarypike WOW, thank you so much, Gary, for responding to my comment yourself. (It was only 10 years ago). You guys have been my idols from all the way back in the beginning. I almost met Donny in Hawaii about 6 years ago, but we missed it by one day. And I was all ready to sing I Believe with him. The Lettermen music has been a part of my playlists for about 65 years. Thank you for a lifetime of wonderful harmonies.

@@mrgarypike Hi Gary. I'm almost ashamed to do this, and I completely understand if you don't want to make any comment. But I had to let you know that my buddy and I tried to record two or three Lettermen songs about 12 years ago. We were definitely not professional and we only tried this as a hobby. We did these on a cheap 16 track recorder I bought on Ebay, in the backroom of my house. My friend Joe did all the instruments on a keyboard and I filled in with guitars and bass. Since I was the only one who had ever sang in public I was elected to do all of the voices. I over-dubbed some and I also used a Digitech harmonizer to add some of the harmony. But we loved the Lettermen and just did these for fun. I put our version of The way You Look Tonight to a slideshow I did for my wife. (We actually will be celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary on May 18. I know you must be very busy and probably have a rule where you don't make public comments on fan requests, but just in case you want to give us a "true and non-partial" review, here is The Way You Look Tonight (we don't monetize anything, so the copyright owners don't seem to mind our feeble attempts...ruclips.net/video/_gsVIjbOFqM/видео.html
