The DNC are fools for presenting an 81 year old man who struggled with charismatic speaking and speech gaffes even when people did see him as mentally competent. Their arguments that democracy and world stability are in danger become much less compelling when they come across as not even trying to give the american people a strong choice, not even trying to be strategic in their campaign. If the stakes are high send someone who can play hard. Don't wheel out an incompetent and try to guilt trip everyone into voting for him. Guilt and fear will never be as effective for campaigning as leadership.

24 M live in Missouri. When young people and minorities flocked to the polls to vote for Biden we understood that he was a placeholder candidate. That he would come in, create an administration that would overturn Trump policies and help ensure we would never return to those years and then leave the next president set up with a good foundation. I’ve finally started listening to NYTimes podcasts this week because they’ve finally started reporting fairly and honestly on Biden since the debate choke-job. Pretty good stuff, even if they should have been reporting on Biden’s mental limitations since 2020.

Thank you. I feel like very few people are saying this. Biden's decline wasn't just discovered last night. Since his 2020 campaign hes been a shell of himself (not much there to begin with) and still they lied to us and tried to make us believe he was fine. They used the "he had a cold" or a "fever" excuse like 5 times for his gaffes. For the past 8 years the party has sold us short and used Trump as the excuse. 4 years and a million indictments later Trump is going to win again. This should not be seen separately from 2016. The last 10 years of the party have been an absolute disgrace and a failure.

24 M live in Missouri. When young people and minorities flocked to the polls to vote for Biden we understood that he was a placeholder candidate. That he would come in, create an administration that would overturn Trump policies and help ensure we would never return to those years and then leave the next president set up with a good foundation. Not only did he roll over for student loans, roe v wade and Palestine, he chose to run again. They wanted to lose because we all saw this coming and somehow they thought this was all sunshine and rainbows.
Biden even said that he was just going to be a one-term bridge to a more youthful Democratic president.

If we could just realize that the VAST majority of Trump supporters aren’t knuckle-dragging, gun-toting, eye-bugging extremist looking to overthrow the government by force, and not all Biden supporters are looking to create false allegations to impeach Trump or throw him in jail, then we’d realize we’re all closer than we appear in the news. Watched the debate on X with Biden, Trump & Kennedy. It was wonderful to compare all 3 candidates even though it felt like Deja vu with Trump and Biden who had nothing new to say and even more incoherent compared to RFK Jr. who could articulate his vision for the country. We need more people looking at a better alternative to the 2 (R&D) corrupt parties.

I’ve finally started listening to NYTimes podcasts this week because they’ve finally started reporting fairly and honestly on Biden since the debate choke-job. Pretty good stuff, even if they should have been reporting on Biden’s mental limitations since 2020.
Trump not answering the questions was honestly a breath of fresh air for me. I prefer not to waste time on questions that are less interesting, many people even call them "boring".
