Out of a box of connectors I bought from Amazon, I showed it at the 5 minute mark. amzn.to/3ZlPmqS And if you don't have crimpers, amzn.to/3ODPux4 Also, if you've got any old printer parts laying around like fans or thermistors they often have a 2 pin connector on them.
Great work. I love my printer too. Getting the enclosure and camera stuff this week. Could you put a link to the helping hands you used for the soldering and the video microscope. Would love to have those. Thank you.
The helping hands someone gave me many years ago, I'll put a link below to the closest thing I can find. amzn.to/4duEgFO The Joyalens microscope I reviewed a few weeks ago, I'll put a link below and you can watch the review if you want to see what I thought of it. amzn.to/46xWxj0 ruclips.net/video/5C1a3RXHOKY/видео.html
I have an X1 Carbon and the supplied lighting in the enclosure is dim, I added some lighting strips and the camera image is great, however, I found out why the stock lighting was dim, bright light affects the lidar scanner, now if the printer was open source I would have been able to switch the lights on after the lidar scan of the first layer had been performed, I took the lighting strips out!
Mine arrive and is now enclosed, I have to say I really like this printer, I don't like the cost of the nozzles, i don't like the fact flashforge are not staying true to the open source nature of klipper, but the printer itself, unbelievable value, I paid £220 delivered, you pay that for a basic bedslinger over here these days. Are you planing on doing the Klipper Mod?
Nozzles are $25 on AliExpress and honestly, I doubt I'll ever buy another after the hardened .0.6, but that's just me. I'm still waiting to find a compelling reason to install the Klipper mod. Right now, the printer does everything I want. Is there a compelling reason that would make you install it? I'm willing to be convinced.
Where did you get the connector for the lights to connect to the mother board?

That camera is way better than the P1S considering the P1S cost's almost twice as much.
