"Smoke in a Bar" is the second single off Travis Tritt's much-anticipated album, "Set In Stone," which marks his first original full-length studio album in over a decade.
"Set In Stone" drops on May 7 and is available for pre-save/pre-add at shor.by/TravisTritt
Released through Big Noise Music Group and produced by Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, The Highwomen, Sturgill Simson), the new album features 11 new songs, eight of which were co-written by Tritt.
On "Set in Stone," the Grammy winner delivers a quintessential album with a touch of Americana and Roots. Travis pays homage to all sides of his musical personality along with the trademarks of his originality. The new album is described by Tritt as “getting back to a no-frills classic
outlaw-country sound.

Now this is COUNTRY MUSIC!! It sounds like the way I grew up, playing outside all of the time and in the woods and I still live where I was born and raised here in North Carolina out in the country and I wouldn't trade it for anything, I lived in the city for 6 years and I will NEVER do that again. My Grandpa give each grandchild (3 of us) some of his farmland once we finished high school and got a good job, I chose to go into the Medical Field and work with Cancer and people that had blood problems (Oncology/Hematology) and I never left the office until every single thing was finished. I am so THANKFUL to God to have been part of a team of the BEST Cancer/Blood Doctor's in Winston-Salem, NC.
Finally we have some original Country !

I miss those days too Travis. It's really sad what has happened to America, We started letting the powers that be tell us what we could and couldn't do and we just let them get away with it and now it's out of control. Maybe one day we'll all wake up.

@Dunno Dunno i remember my dad telling me all that word for word,when i left the school at 15.After working for 63 years on low wages i retired ,I followed my dads words to a T now iv'e got the rewards iv'e worked for. I don't know what age you are , but iv'e seen generation after generation change the way we live life in my country Scotland, as well as america all because of greed for money and posesions .I said to southernman ,whats the alternative, because there is no way back to my way of working , the systems the generations have created now rule their lives and they can't change it the system won't allow it. What generation are you from.

There's nothing even close to this that's been put out for years now.
In my minds eye I see this in black and white playing with the neighborhood kids, walking to the local shopping center to by penny candy. Eating at the taster freeze on Saturday and the walk to school. That’s what real country music will do to you. You didn’t listen/ hear the song you feel the song because you lived the song. The ultimate for southern country kids in my day. We used to take a big paper sack of fresh vegetables from our garden to anybodys house we used to visit. The good ol' days.

Oh how I long for those days! Sitting on the porch with my Great Grandmother, so she could "watch" her flowers and tell me that her thoughts flew away like a great speckled bird. Those days were so precious.
