Just got one of these to go with a new MacBook Pro m3. Really impressed with it so far. $200 on amazon after a $30 coupon, not exactly cheap but compared to other docs it's pretty competent. On my set up "display 3" is like a passthrough that doesn't use display link. Displays ports 1 & 2 run off DisplayLink. So my main monitor has zero issues, even runs in HDR, my less important ones are running DisplayLink. Really nice dock!

@techguybeau I just bought this Docking station after your review. Can I also use this switch between laptops? I have a high powered Dell XPS i9 I would like to dedicate for video content creation and editting/rendering only. I would like to continue using my HP spectre for all my business work, zoom consultancy and web browsing. I have two 42" 4K displays is use regulary while working on multiple programs on my HP spectre .. fir editing on the DELL XPS...I really only need one of the two 42 4k monitors.. so can use the 2nd HDMI input on that monitor. I'd hate to have to look into a KVM switch...but can add one if thats the ONLY way to use two laptops on the fly as I will go between both daily
