I can't say this is a tribute to the failed 80s sitcom I have never seen, nor to that bizarre 80s gated-reverb snare drum aesthetic, nor even to the amazing, dangerous earworm that is this song. More than anything, this is a tribute to Sam Lloyd, who passed a week ago. His band, The Blanks, is the reason I even know this song in the first place. This is their arrangement: • Charles in Charge
