Does this allow for a larger selection of cutting guards? Need guards size #2 through #3 for trimming my beard at different lengths… 1 1/2 is far too short for my liking.

Great question bro but I only use my gtx mod for crispy lines.....I use my babyliss silver Fx for balding out
Facts when you get crispy lines with trimmers try to use them only for that reason. Have you a separate balding trimmer so you don’t mess up your hittas

You can’t go wrong with the stock blade but this GTX mod hitting harder

Try putting some clipper grease on the cam (the part that moves the blade) and oil the blades a little

Hello, thanks for your video, it is very similar to what I want to do and I would like to ask you, is it possible to modify the Wahl detailer to use original Wahl blades from the Balding Clipper?
I had a balding clipper because I used it to shave my head, but it got damaged and only the new zero gap blades I recently bought are salvageable.
Then the store recommended to buy a wahl detailer because they told me that the result was very similar to trim the head to zero gap, but it was not like that, there are differences, it is not a zero gap like balding clipper.
So I started looking for any adaptation to modify the Wahl Detailer to use the Balding blades. I hope you can help me with some guidance or advice. I appreciate your help in advance.
Unfortunately there isn’t any type of modification that will allow us to put the wahl 6x0 balding blade on the Wahl Detailers because the wahl 6x0 blade is made for use on clippers and the wahl Detailer is a trimmer.....hopefully I explained it well bro and thanks for watching 🙏🏾

@@MikeWillBlendIt yeah it’s brand new and modified... I’ll try to re adjust again I had given up on it and put the original blade back on
Understood, there has been a times where I have modified a blade that was already hitting and it caused them to kind of dull out not saying that’s the case but it’s a possibility.....the blades i used in the video were slightly modified using the rich barber one minute blade modifier and they weren’t fully zero gapped

That's not a gtx, that's a regular T outliner. GTX teeth are longer... Check the difference.

@@MikeWillBlendIt cause I wanted a andis masters but its to loud the battery is weak poor run time so I found the kemei strong motor and it takes wahl blades and the slide only thing u got to do is use the screws that comes with the wahl blades and its quiet and it was only 30 bucks for the clipper win win to me in and it opens up to a 1 yes lord lol I wish I could send u pic of it so u know am not lieing
