Keep in mind this game only needs maps of roads, while in GTA you can go off-road. It would be absurd to make a somewhat accurate scaled down map of the US that goes off-road. Even if they did that it would need a crazy amount of storage

As someone who lives in Southern California, Orange County will never have the same recognition as LA county. I hope technology will be advanced enough in the Crew 3 where they can do a 1:1 replica of all of the United States, including fast travel obviously but I don’t think that’s going to happen.

To be honest, devs said it´s about 40-60 minutes if you actually drive from one end to another in a normal car like the mustang or something like that (and no I dont mean crawling at 45mph), but what you did was pretty much race from coast to coast in one of the fastest vehicles in the game :p But you did a pretty good job of that, some really nice and clean driving. Also think that the Agera R is one of those cars that just looks amazing no matter what color you put on it.
I did the trip in the mustang and it does take a lot more time to do it. Took me like an hour. Well it wasnt the exact same trip but it was from coast to coast.
Yeah the stock Mustang you get at the beginning of the game does 250 km/h. I did it myself from New York to Los Angeles and with having to check the map constantly to know where to go it took about 30ish minutes.
Whether people say the map is empty or not, the scenery and locations are undeniably spectacular and beautiful to look at. At the very least, I would treat a long drive like this like a journey, looking at the places I'm driving through because they really are a sight to behold.
You can have a small map and see everything again and again and again but it’s live or you can have a big and always see something new every time you play the game take your pick

Ubisoft already has a really bad reputation for showing misleading demos. This looks like it'd be fun for a minute, but IMO most Ubisoft games feel uninspired and soulless. Almost like they're always pushing games out as fast as possible just so the can start on the re-ski... I mean sequel.

I am impressed by almost every aspect of this game. But there is one thing, it seems that the developers are being lazy of working on the backfires of each car, every car in this game has the same noise when backfires, and it is just one single gun shot noise, it does not work like that.
I remember telling a friend about a trip i was doing across the States, starting in Miami and ending in Seattle. When he found out it was going to take us 2 weeks to get to New York he was confused, he seemed to think you could drive from Miami to New York in a few hours by van, some people eh
