I reckon half that if you consider his all-purpose yards with carries, KR, and PR. He won't pass Moss in TD's tho. He's not that kind of end zone threat. But he's gonna blow Moss out of the water in yards and maybe receptions too given all the motion shananegans in modern football.

    • @shivamparekh7486
      @shivamparekh7486 Год назад +7

Then you gotta consider his rushing stats (Quadruple Moss's) and special team (like his rookie year he had almost 1,000 return yards, to Moss's less then 200 in his career) stats as well. Hill has 5 more years to reach the age when Randy Moss retired - so he could reach the receptions and yards by that time - and then he can keep playing, so he does have 6 or 7 more seasons. Do you want to talk about SB wins? I know that is a team accomplishment, but Tyreek has 2 superbowl wins (Moss has 0, Rice has 3). Randy Moss had 6 probowl selections, Tyreek hill has 7.

In moss’ first 8 seasons, he only had 3 seasons without double digit touchdowns. Hill only has had 2 seasons total in 8 with double digit. And only just now regularly getting double teamed. Famously Randy was doubled teamed a majority of his routes or keyed on zoned. Remember when hill said he was going to dominate despite being doubled for what was 40% of his routes against the pats? Howd that go? 9 targets for 40 yards. Moss changed how defenses operated. Hill might get the same treatment starting this year - his stats warrant it. He’s phenomenal. But moss broke football. Teams are only now seeming like they are adapting their entire scheme for him in Miami. It will be interesting to his performance now . I’m eager to see him show out

*Randy Moss is easily Top 3 Wide Receivers of All-Time. Moss played against Champ Bailey, Deion Sanders, Rod Woodson, Charles Woodson, Ed Reed, Darrell Greene, Lawyer Milloy, Steve Atwater, John Lynch, Warren Sapp and other greats/Legends/Hall of Famers. He was a rookie on the same team as Chris Carter, outworked and outshined Chris and took his place as the number one Minnesota Wide Receiver. His style of playing was known as “Mossing”, especially when he made the WR position seem easy. Let’s not forget that, not only did he play on the same team as Chris Carter, but he, also, played against Chris Carter, Jerry Rice, Tim Brown, Chad (Ocho-Cinco) Johnson, Chris Sanders, and Terrell Owens. If that’s not enough to impress anyone, I think they should take a look at his stats.*
*I don’t know if Tyreek could’ve played in the last real era of hard-hitting football 🏈 and still perform at a high-level, although it IS possible. We’ll never know. That’s two different levels, two different styles, and two different eras.*

I’ll just leave these #’s right here,
    VERTICAL LEAP
    Hill- 40.5 inches
    MOSS- 47.5 inches
(Not even in the same STRATOSPHERE)
    40 YARD DASH
    Hill’s- 4.29
    MOSS- 4.25
    HEIGHT
    HILL- 5’8”
    MOSS- 6’4”
So MOSS can jump OVER HALF A FOOT HIGHER(6.5 inches) than Hill, AND he is 8 INCHES TALLER. Meaning Tyreek CAN’T “jump out of the gym” on par with Moss, like you stated in comments.
Not knocking you for your opinion because we all have favorite players and most debates about who’s better are subjective. Except in a case where we have the numbers on both sides to compare. Some areas aren’t subjective, nothing wrong with believing Cheetahs better than Moss as long as it’s not predicated on false information.

This just goes to show no matter where you are in your early football career, you can make it to the league and even become a star with proper work and focus. So many previous no-names are now stars in the NFL. Justin Jefferson was barely getting D1 looks and got a little lucky with LSU since his older brothers played there a few years before him. Cooper Kupp only had 2 scholarship offers Idaho State and Eastern Washington. The inverse can be said about players in the league who were stars in college and now are total busts.

Instead we drafted 2 WRs that only played a few games before being let go. While Diggs was drafted in the 5th round low like Tyreek & are both Superstars still going strong in the NFL! Our scouting department needs serious help.

@@cambell-yi2gh yea the hit on Terry! But I have to disagree with you about Chase & a few others. I’ve had the pleasure of watching Chase play since he was in High School. He’s special, he’s a Leader, he’s a Winner & he has Heart. Be fore we traded him & Montez away for basically nothing. Our front 4 on Defense was a problem for teams. They generated constant pressure. With Chase & Tez , it allowed Payne & Allen free from double teams. Now with them both gone, all the focus is on Payne & Allen. Just because Chase didn’t sack the QB every play doesn’t mean he wasn’t impactful. Their pressures impacted plays on many occasions.
Also people don’t realize how hard Chase worked behind the scenes after his knee injury. Just because not everyone’s Adrian Peterson who comes back from an ACL injury in 6 months isn’t working hard. ACL injuries for some are devastating, but Chase did everything he could to come back ASAP but wasn’t 100%. People discount him because of that, not knowing all that kid had to endure behind the scenes.
At this we have a few players that talent but with nothing to play for, everyone’s checked out mentally. There’s hardly little effort & everyone’s showing up just to collect a check to fulfill contractual obligations. Like Montez said “ where he was , everyone’s waiting for the season to end.”

I see some back and forth comments about where he ranks in relation to Moss and some good points are brought up. I put Tyreek at #3, behind Moss. But, remember Moss was 8" taller than Tyreek, which makes it much easier to put up gaudy numbers.

    Their first 8 seasons:
    Moss: 634 catches, 10,147 yards, 98 TD’s.
    Hill: 634 catches, 8,991 yards, 68 TD’s
It’s really not even close, and that’s with Hill playing in a much more pass dominant, offensive friendly (defenses can’t do half of what the defenses in Moss’s era could do) league.

Not really a fair comparison considering Tyreek only started 1 game his rookie season and was playing the entire beginning of his career with arguably the greatest tight end of all time a more fair comparison would be the 23 games Tyreek has played since coming to the dolphins vs the 2 best seasons Randy moss ever had when comparing those 2 with yards Tyreek average 10 more yards a game while moss averages over 1 touchdown a game Tyreek hill 1 every 2 games and receptions very similar with Tyreek having the slight edge when you look at it from that prospective they are very close

The only reciever you can justifiably compare to Moss is Rice. And that’s it. They are the two greatest recievers of all time, followed by one of the greatest underdogs of all time, Larry Fitz. Hill is sensational, but the game doesn’t treat recievers the same way it did in the past. If Rice, Moss, or Fitz could play in this era where the reciever can barely be touched without a flag being thrown, they would all wreck Tyreek’s stats
