I played with him at gccc in 2012. He was actually a RB first. I remember him the first day of practice out running everyone. I remember one of the coaches saying “what the hell is he doing here”. Crazy
people need to bring up Calvin Johnson more often when talking about the best WR he was a monster. He would've definitely broke records if he didn't retire so early.
2:46 you can tell how much of a track athlete he was based on the way he "crossed the finish line" when he got to the endzone like it was a 100m sprint 😆
Randy Moss 982 Reception, 15,292 yards, and 156 TDs. Tyreek Hill 626 Receptions, 8,810 yards, and 67 TDs. Tyreek is great but he's not on Moss level. He would need 6 or 7 more seasons at the same production to even be in the conversation with Rice, Moss, and TO.
I reckon half that if you consider his all-purpose yards with carries, KR, and PR. He won't pass Moss in TD's tho. He's not that kind of end zone threat. But he's gonna blow Moss out of the water in yards and maybe receptions too given all the motion shananegans in modern football.
Then you gotta consider his rushing stats (Quadruple Moss's) and special team (like his rookie year he had almost 1,000 return yards, to Moss's less then 200 in his career) stats as well. Hill has 5 more years to reach the age when Randy Moss retired - so he could reach the receptions and yards by that time - and then he can keep playing, so he does have 6 or 7 more seasons. Do you want to talk about SB wins? I know that is a team accomplishment, but Tyreek has 2 superbowl wins (Moss has 0, Rice has 3). Randy Moss had 6 probowl selections, Tyreek hill has 7.
I agree. I love Hill im a Dolphins fan but at the same time fans of teams have to stop being bias with players that play on their favorite team. Ill have to go with Moss but im glad the Dolphins have Hill. Wish Marino had a WR like Hill. The closest he had was Mark Duper and Mark Clayton two fast receivers
In moss’ first 8 seasons, he only had 3 seasons without double digit touchdowns. Hill only has had 2 seasons total in 8 with double digit. And only just now regularly getting double teamed. Famously Randy was doubled teamed a majority of his routes or keyed on zoned. Remember when hill said he was going to dominate despite being doubled for what was 40% of his routes against the pats? Howd that go? 9 targets for 40 yards. Moss changed how defenses operated. Hill might get the same treatment starting this year - his stats warrant it. He’s phenomenal. But moss broke football. Teams are only now seeming like they are adapting their entire scheme for him in Miami. It will be interesting to his performance now . I’m eager to see him show out

Iconic? Yes. Dangerous? Abosolutely. Skilled? No argument. But to call him a "legend" or the 3rd greatest of all-time devalues the word. He can become the 3rd, greatest, but that being a legend and all-time comes with accomplishments, time invested and overall ability. I don't think he's shown enough yet to be called a "legend" or to already be ranked 3rd greatest.
Speed kills and this dude would of made it in the NFL if he was only a KR specialist. He is a special player nothing would of stopped him from getting to the greatest football league on earth. I can't believe no D1 schools tried to get him. Oh a D1 school did try to get him but he got an assault charge, so he messed it up, but he didn't give up. The Chiefs took a chance and won big time, they should of kept him too, but their loss was the Dolphins gain.
This just goes to show no matter where you are in your early football career, you can make it to the league and even become a star with proper work and focus. So many previous no-names are now stars in the NFL. Justin Jefferson was barely getting D1 looks and got a little lucky with LSU since his older brothers played there a few years before him. Cooper Kupp only had 2 scholarship offers Idaho State and Eastern Washington. The inverse can be said about players in the league who were stars in college and now are total busts.
My dawg has over 1000 yards and he’s not even halfway through the season. Best player in the league hands down. Someone tried to say AJ Brown was better 😂😂😂
I wrote to my Team the then Washington Redskins to please give Tyreek an opportunity , just like I wrote to them about drafting Stephon Diggs despite him being hurt with an ACL at Maryland. @@cambell-yi2gh yea the hit on Terry! But I have to disagree with you about Chase & a few others. I’ve had the pleasure of watching Chase play since he was in High School. He’s special, he’s a Leader, he’s a Winner & he has Heart. Be fore we traded him & Montez away for basically nothing. Our front 4 on Defense was a problem for teams. They generated constant pressure. With Chase & Tez , it allowed Payne & Allen free from double teams. Now with them both gone, all the focus is on Payne & Allen. Just because Chase didn’t sack the QB every play doesn’t mean he wasn’t impactful. Their pressures impacted plays on many occasions. Also people don’t realize how hard Chase worked behind the scenes after his knee injury. Just because not everyone’s Adrian Peterson who comes back from an ACL injury in 6 months isn’t working hard. ACL injuries for some are devastating, but Chase did everything he could to come back ASAP but wasn’t 100%. People discount him because of that, not knowing all that kid had to endure behind the scenes. At this we have a few players that talent but with nothing to play for, everyone’s checked out mentally. There’s hardly little effort & everyone’s showing up just to collect a check to fulfill contractual obligations. Like Montez said “ where he was , everyone’s waiting for the season to end.”
That's why i said Chase is hype OR the rest of the defense is bad. They gave up a bunch of points even with Sweat and Young and I couldn't figure out why they blew it up. @@dcsking9042
Great work putting this video together, very concise with nice editing and great footage. It is Fantastic!!! Tyreek is 1st ballot HOA in my opinion. I see some back and forth comments about where he ranks in relation to Moss and some good points are brought up. I put Tyreek at #3, behind Moss. But, remember Moss was 8" taller than Tyreek, which makes it much easier to put up gaudy numbers.
Just look at the stats Their first 8 seasons: Moss: 634 catches, 10,147 yards, 98 TD’s. Hill: 634 catches, 8,991 yards, 68 TD’s It’s really not even close, and that’s with Hill playing in a much more pass dominant, offensive friendly (defenses can’t do half of what the defenses in Moss’s era could do) league.
Not really a fair comparison considering Tyreek only started 1 game his rookie season and was playing the entire beginning of his career with arguably the greatest tight end of all time a more fair comparison would be the 23 games Tyreek has played since coming to the dolphins vs the 2 best seasons Randy moss ever had when comparing those 2 with yards Tyreek average 10 more yards a game while moss averages over 1 touchdown a game Tyreek hill 1 every 2 games and receptions very similar with Tyreek having the slight edge when you look at it from that prospective they are very close
@@knav6680 no, it’s not lol. Moss’s stats were put up in a league where the defense could actually play defense. Imagine him out there today, he would EAT. Imagine saying 30 less TD’s and 1,156 yards less is close on the same amount of catches lmao.

In order for him to truly be considered amongst the greatest of the greatest I think he needs a few more seasons under his belt. After that it’s all subjective. As to who belongs ranked where and in what order. Career stats don’t lie though.
You're dumb as bricks lol. He was literally listed as ATH at OSU because he was a running back, wide receiver and kick/punt returner all in one. Same at western Alabama. He was already an amazing receiver before Reid.
Tyreek would get killed running down the middle if he played in Moss era. You couldn't go down the middle when Moss played without getting destroyed. Hill is perfect in this era because he can use his speed and quickness and not worry about getting hit. Moss would be even better in this era.
I was finna watch this video until you said he’s the 3rd greatest WR ever . Now i know you don’t know wtf you are talking about no need to waste my time 😂
The only reciever you can justifiably compare to Moss is Rice. And that’s it. They are the two greatest recievers of all time, followed by one of the greatest underdogs of all time, Larry Fitz. Hill is sensational, but the game doesn’t treat recievers the same way it did in the past. If Rice, Moss, or Fitz could play in this era where the reciever can barely be touched without a flag being thrown, they would all wreck Tyreek’s stats

@@helloman3676 only a minority amount of kids make it to the professional level period. I’m not talking number I’m talking the amount of supreme talent that I witnessed as a kid from a Juco D111 school. And the list is way longer than I said I’m just not gonna text everyone.
Sheeeesh. Y’all better check that boys gloves 😂

The third greatest receiver to play the game? Dude….wow
Stretch Armstrong with that reach!
Rice, Moss, Megatron, TO, Fitzgerald, then maybe we can start talking about Tyreek.
Iconic? Yes.
He’s shown way more than enough to be called a legend. Stats and hardware are there.
Agreed. "Legend" is to frequently used now. I'd say he's one of the best of his time. I think most of his peers would see it that way.
Also please remember not everyone has Joe Montana throwing passes.
The inverse can be said about players in the league who were stars in college and now are total busts.
not true in the least....special talent...and needed extraordinary help...getting to Ok. State.
Megatron was a beast and deserving of the #2 spot for now IMHO.
Almost turned the video off once you said “I believe is the 3rd greatest WR to play this sport” 💀 Moss, Rice, Megatron just to name 3.
Hill hasn't had the longevity of those guys but he's had 2 1700 yd seasons. So their is a case for him up there
@@arnejohnson7542 the only people who agree with you have never seen any of the people I listed play.
Great content here, he is one the best in the league and thus far we have ever seen
My dawg has over 1000 yards and he’s not even halfway through the season. Best player in the league hands down. Someone tried to say AJ Brown was better 😂😂😂
Smart move going to OkSU ...it got him on the field right away as a WR/KR....
Why is his neck so thick in the photos he takes
What I’m saying
Neck exercises
Implants
ngl i stopped the video at "born to his mother" LMFAO
Thanks brother glad you understand that you needed that context to see he was born to his mom but then raised by his grandparents!
I wrote to my Team the then Washington Redskins to please give Tyreek an opportunity , just like I wrote to them about drafting Stephon Diggs despite him being hurt with an ACL at Maryland.
Instead we drafted 2 WRs that only played a few games before being let go. While Diggs was drafted in the 5th round low like Tyreek & are both Superstars still going strong in the NFL! Our scouting department needs serious help.
Even after you gave them the help!
Commanders have a decent coach and hit on Mclaurin. That's about it. Chase is hype or the rest of the defense is awful.
@@damac5136 all I can do is write in ! Hoping someone would listen.
Randy Moss, and Jerry Rice be the goats 🐐
Great work putting this video together, very concise with nice editing and great footage. It is Fantastic!!! Tyreek is 1st ballot HOA in my opinion. I see some back and forth comments about where he ranks in relation to Moss and some good points are brought up. I put Tyreek at #3, behind Moss. But, remember Moss was 8" taller than Tyreek, which makes it much easier to put up gaudy numbers.
"Born to his mother" 😂 no chit
Just look at the stats
Their first 8 seasons:
Moss: 634 catches, 10,147 yards, 98 TD’s.
Hill: 634 catches, 8,991 yards, 68 TD’s
It’s really not even close, and that’s with Hill playing in a much more pass dominant, offensive friendly (defenses can’t do half of what the defenses in Moss’s era could do) league.
That’s actually really close js
The reception but 30 tds difference is massive and over 1,000 yards
Thats pretty close
Imagine saying 30 less TD’s and 1,156 yards less is close on the same amount of catches lmao.
clicked on this video cause the thumbnail was so funny to me. the early tyreek hill photo is golden BRO KEEP GOING LOL
Pic is awesome hahaha
Fastest human being is kinda glaze but he is definitely the fastest non track athlete
0:26 my man said born to his mother lol
call video really enjoyed it. I'm very new to NFL only really started watching it this year because i live in Australia and its not big at all over here. The fact youtube is puting you into my algorithm is good signs for your channel. you will go so fast if you keep making good vids like this

He was so talented that he could get away with beating women and children. That’s a lot of talent.
Good video but I think he's fourth best receiver behind Calvin Johnson but definitely not in front of moss
@@MrX-hl9vbbro everyone you said Largent, Carter, Bruce, Adams, Harrison, Hell ever Kelce could be put above Hill, Kelce is basically a receiver he sucks at blocking
Idk. I think your disrespecting TO a bit. I'd even put him over moss tbh.
I mean it's undeniable. He's cracked, and he's got the hardware too. I'd give him top 3 all time right now.

Usian Bolt is the fastest Human to date ...Moss imo best of all time
I'm glad he grew out his hair. Homie looks special
The only obstacles he’s had to overcome was stuff he did to himself. Don’t act like he’s the victim in that lol. Dude has made some terrible choices in life and had to pay for it. Completely his own fault though.
In order for him to truly be considered amongst the greatest of the greatest I think he needs a few more seasons under his belt. After that it’s all subjective. As to who belongs ranked where and in what order. Career stats don’t lie though.
He wasn’t a WR until he came to the chiefs. He should that Reid…because any other coach would’ve kept him as RB
He been a receiver since HS.
Did you even watch the video?
You're dumb as bricks lol. He was literally listed as ATH at OSU because he was a running back, wide receiver and kick/punt returner all in one. Same at western Alabama. He was already an amazing receiver before Reid.
Nooo that rams and chiefs game had 3 defensive touchdowns!! and to say that game played no defense is crazy
Me getting to play em in juco and in the big 12 best talent I ever played💯
When Moss dies his epitaph will be “A QBs best friend”
Love the work you’ve put into your videos. You’re going to keep growing for sure!
Appreciate ot man! Definitely got some good ones comin up soon!
Never seen a dude that short run that fast
Tyreek would get killed running down the middle if he played in Moss era. You couldn't go down the middle when Moss played without getting destroyed. Hill is perfect in this era because he can use his speed and quickness and not worry about getting hit. Moss would be even better in this era.
“Born to his mother”
I can END this “debate” in 3 WORDS.
“HE GOT MOSSED”
Your honor I rest my case.
In college Tyreek looked like Maurice JoneDrew lost brother🤣
He almost got destroyed by fake allegations. WE NEED TO STOP THIS TREND
Probably thought OJ was innocent too lmao
@@codyjames259And you probably think that trevor bower was guilty...
Jerry Rice, Randy Moss, TO, Marvin Harrison, Cris Carter
I was finna watch this video until you said he’s the 3rd greatest WR ever . Now i know you don’t know wtf you are talking about no need to waste my time 😂
Watch at 2:46 when he hits the goal line on his very first kick return, he leans into the goal line like its track
Tyreek over Megatron? 😅
I like how he was pictured as a brown shirt. Like on 2k 😂
Is the lady who accused him of domestic violence the same lady who accused him of child endangerment??
Jerry Rice, Calvin Johnson, Tyreek, Randy Moss
How can you put Calvin ahead of T.O.?
Tyreek ain’t no 5’9 even now
The only reciever you can justifiably compare to Moss is Rice.
You left out Terrell Owens
Better than moss? Kids these days…Tyreek would get mossed by Randy.
Moss played during a time when receivers got hit, comparing apples to oranges.
