Man, Luke and the professor would be so dissapointed with Kat She isn't stealing every piece of furniture she can get in order to create a small room where she can tort- Train a hamster!
I remember watching this live on stream and laughing my ass of at the fact they replaced the hand of the clock with cake along with the assassination attempt with the arrows from a gate with the cake
I dunno Jack, for some reason it sounds as if you do not trust Katrielle Laytons deductions towards the end of the video when she was clearly shown to be ingenious enough to solve the mystery.
Honestly, I feel like this game gets far too much hate for what it is. It's obviously not meant to be taken as seriously as the main games what with its more calming atmosphere and lower stakes, but in the end the characters are still quite charming. Katrielle is one of my favorite female protagonists simply because she's funny but gets the job done. For some fans to call this game a dumpster fire is a bit unfair in my opinion, though I will admit its anime adaptation leaves a lot to be desired plot-wise.
Yeah I feel the same I got it for Christmas and it was my first introduction into the Layton series so having i felt bad But seeing your comment makes me feel better I kinda like the puzzles and I kinda like Katrielle because I relate to her so much (that should be a concern tho..) But hey it’s alright everyone has a right to their own opinions
@@alexv3372 Ehh, the anime had abhorrent writing and plot holes in my opinion, but I get your point. I think the game was a perfect silly balance between fantasy and slice of life, and the final case was emotional enough to make me care for the characters

The Layton series has fallen apart, and watching Jack fall apart while watching it is very entertaining.
I would like to buy this game (used) just for the laughs.
But then I'd better off buying better games.
Let's hope the new layton game that's coming in 2025 is good, considering Layton is finally taking the steering wheel again
So, Kat is a ruthless capitalist and a communist dictator? I think Jreg just came.
Good vid Ima sub probably
Oh wait there was no more layton after this

There’s not wanting to be taken as seriously as the other games, and then there’s “logic has left the building.”
I mean if you think about it
This is the prof Layton universe
At least the anime does it better
