I made the Skeg,Newark and Scarborough runs from your vid.....many many great memories....i lost all my photos after a house move a real disaster.my old club has now reformed and some of the old lads are meeting back up,best time of my life,thanks for the time and effort put in.KTF.....

Brilliant, that bought tears to my eyes watching that..Great memories, great times! Kick starting the PX and the GP on those freezing foggy mornings back wheel sliding all the way to work..Meeting the force 10 from Navarone storm half way back from Tenby ..Oh mate...Fantastic..Mo.. I remember going to Scarborough in 1983 as a mod ,coming back I was a scooter boy ,bloody good days ,living in Essex today loads of clubs and scooters ktf
I went to Scarborough in 83 it was fantastic, enjoyed those rally’s in the early/mid eighties, got back into scooters a few years ago, enjoying the ride outs , keep the faith! Got some cash now to pimp my ride!
At 17 it was my first taste of freedom. I just loved the scooter scene , top working class lads . Now just an old twat but still into the scooters and music.
i was at the yarmouth rally, i took many pics of the same scoots. i seem to remember a fashion at the time from some of the yorkshire lads, where they nicked a massive york lorry mudflap and stuck it on the back of their scoot.
Hey hobsonjs got told about this from your dad he's on the walking group i go on and we talk about the scooters he had in the day, been filling him with whats happening on the 1st May the Highland Scoot which might interest you but i think he said you'l miss it, anyway great vid and superb Northern
@hobsonjs Can confirm it was owned by Mick as i ran into the side of him on my Vespa 90 in scarbro 1982. I was with the Wakey scooter club ,then the Rothwell Crusaders . Paul Fergy
@@hobsonjs I remember loads of lads started ripping the fence down to make a fire, it wasn`t warm, the police were running everywhere trying to stop it, they were outnumbered.

I had a '57 Vespa 125 in 1982. We went to all the mod concerts in the Los Angeles area. great times.
