Same. Was here only for that one attack. Edit: next attempt I beat her but the game still continued the fight even after her death animation and then I died shortly after. Just my luck encountering a bug 😭.
Very impressive! I loved this boss in my first playthrough, the change in artstyle for the background is so unique! Great job in this no-hit, this was a real challenge with all her clones for me!
Thanks! I loved the shift between dream world and nightmare (and the bit of platforming leading up to the fight), plus it was neat to see them build on that initial jumpscare passing through her zone. Did you have to jump and tai chi kick her dive claw? I never could seem to get the timing right on the ground.
@@CrankyTemplar I was able to get it on the ground like once if I remember correctly, but it’s timing was so difficult I just did the jump kick instead
This boss fight was one of the most memorable I've ever fought. It took me a long time to get the hang of her patterns, and it really made me rage at first. But once I started figuring out the patterns to her attacks and how to counter them, the fight started being really fun. I did eventually beat it, and have regularly rematched it just because of how satisfying it is. I never thought to use the Thunderburst Arrows against her, though. That's some insane damage right there.
Just beaten her, it seems not same start of Phase 3 6 months ago. This is better ngl it saves you the frustration of learning phase 3 than being nuked by a spirit bomb at the start 😢 Additionally, I really though I had to kill all clones before main body is hittable 😂
just beat this boss, easily my favorite one so far by a long shot. lucking forward to the next sols. (then again i am a little slut for abstract hyper realistic bosses)
The nice part of the game is there's multiple ways people beat the bosses. Check out other videos others have done and find a strategy that works best for you. Good luck!
I just used Enhanced Qi Blast as soon as it unlocked to get more arrows from three point qi blasts. Talismans I don't quite remember but I'm pretty sure I had the faster charged attack jade since it's very effective for this fight.
I just beat this boss and I disagree. You must have taken a long time in phase 3, phase 1 is pretty short and phase 2 is alright. You just have to hit the real one whose face isn't distorted and all the illusions disappear. You don't have to hit them, just parry/dodge until you see the real one. I made this mistake in my first couple tries. In standard mode too btw
Hitless fights done by others are about the same length of 3-4 minutes. If I had used story mode to give a 300% damage boost then this would have been a significantly shorter fight.
I just beat this and came on to see how to dodge her big spirit bomb attack in her third phase. I kept trying to bounce up with parries and hit her with a talisman but turns out you just it with a dodge lol. I ate that attack every single time in the final phase

is there a spawning pattern in phase 2? you was hitting the real one really often.
Not really, I just happened to get lucky in that phase.

Nice damage boosting. Play and upload it without turning up the damage to 300%.

Lady Ethereal just has insanely low health/defense. I was amazed in my own playthrough by how much damage I was doing with unbounded counters.
