The mp5 is pretty much unusable with modern standards. Where do you put your tape switch? Weapon light? Ir laser/illuminator? Does your stock allow for a cheek weld? Every part of the design stinks for modernization.
That lower is changed too. You can't shoot a semi-auto mp5 in rapid succession like he did in this video, literally impossible with the stock trigger. Therefore, this mp5 is modernized.

When it comes to MP5’s, I say mod away. Mod it within an inch of its life, go nuts… Just MAKE SURE you can still SLAP DAT THING… and you are golden. If you’ve never had the joy of performing the often imitated, but never duplicated MP5 slap, then I suggest you give it a go. It’s one of the most satisfying charging movements of ANY platform, big or small.

Doing that with a roller delayed H&K trigger pack is damn impressive. All 4 H&Ks that I own all have shit triggers. Mp5, 53, 93, 91, all have terrible triggers. Honestly my stribog SP9A1 gen 1's trigger feels amazing compared to the mp5. I love my H&Ks but they all will wear out a booger hook damn fast. I can't say anything feels quite as nice as the recoil impulse on the roller delayed blow back guns though. You do put on one hell of a show.
The white mag ends: is that for finding the mag in the dark? UKSF CRW guys used to do that on their MP5s... With another white band on the pistol grip.
