However, the 3-Cylinder engine is never good for any car, no matter how many manufacturers are making them. Over time in the long-run, the engine related problems always show up and makes a BIG hole in your pocket. Be Careful Be Wise Drive safe.
Can you give some examples for problems with 3 cylinder engines? We had a maruti 800 long ago. It had a 3 cylinder engine. Kept the car 14 years without any issue. All Nexons also have 3 cylinder petrol engines. I haven't heard of any expensive repair or catastrophic failure.

There is plenty of information available on the net by major auto manufacturers why they abhor 3-cylinders. In fact, you can directly email the Technical division of Audi, Mercedes Benz, BMW, Ferrari, Ford or any other majors to get their first hand reactions and cite your M-800 engines performance. You may be surprised what you hear. Cheers !!

3 cylinder engine are always perform better but after 1 lak kilometre it will show it's own face as engine problem... Cheverolet beat LT 3 cylinder engine I am sure this will not run after 1 lak kms without engine problem....
