      Greetings. Thank you. I ordered it from Amazon MX. If you're have an Amazon.com account, you can use your same login details for Amazon MX. I order from Amazon.com all the time and have no problem getting things from the US. It's possible/probable that you can order it from Amazon MX and have it sent to the US if you can't find it on the US Site. Here is the product: www.amazon.com.mx/gp/product/B0D3XS4RQZ/
      I know it doesn't show up as a link, but if you copy and paste it, you'll get there. I'm very happy with it. The belt portion is very light webbing and can wad up near the pouch, but it was only $14 USD, so I'm not complaining.

    Great haul! Digging pull tabs sucks but there's always that chance...For me, it's in the nickel range. the horseshoe is a very cool find. There are actually some pretty cool iron relics out there although a lot of people skip iron. I have found axe heads, a horse buggy step and a few other things. I still do not have a horseshoe yet, great find! You can bring that horseshoe back to life with electrolysis, that's what I do with a lot of my iron. It's easy to get hooked on this hobby. Good luck on your next hunt.

    Awesome hunt! You live in a beautiful place that people vacation and then dream about living there. What a neat dagger! I would advise you to bring a pair of watershoes so you dont hurt your feet on scoop or sharp items in the ground.

    • @MetalDetectingMermaid
      @MetalDetectingMermaid  5 дней назад

      Thank you for commenting. It's a stunning area. You are right about the shoes in that it would be wise, but I never wear them. I'm accustomed to hiking the jungle barefoot. We have no cars here (only recently some ATVs), and I've been walking this land shoeless a long time. The occasional injuries do happen. Every time I dig some treacherous sharp piece of metal, it amazes me that people don't get hurt more often. Still, most of us who live here don't bother with shoes and consider them more annoying than they're worth. It's a very different life here in the jungle. I'm glad you liked the video. The dagger was a great find. I hope you have a wonderful holiday and a fabulous new year!

    You know there's some good stuff in that water. That 10 peso coin rings up like a US penny. One thing Ive noticed about finding coins is the bigger they are the better it feels when you get it. Like a 1 peso, not that valuable but a big coin. I'd be super happy with that. This year I found a 1 Euro coin at Jensen Beach. First time finding foreign currency.

    • @MetalDetectingMermaid
      @MetalDetectingMermaid  2 дня назад +1

      It's so true! That's a cool find on Jensen Beach. I love finding foreign currency. It often takes me a minute to recognize US coins because it's unexpected, and they're not in great shape. Interesting that $10 pesos rings up as a penny. I found a US penny on my first or second hunt in the beach nearest my house. Who knows how long I'd walked over it!

    • @MetalDetectingMermaid
      @MetalDetectingMermaid  10 дней назад +1

      @@johnurso5184 That is so interesting! I hope you had a wonderful trip when you came. I love the area. The structure in the video (the large terrazzo) has survived the hurricanes, but the restaurant building that was on the primary side of the river was destroyed two years ago, and the bridge between the two has to be rebuilt every year. Now where the main restaurant was is a lot more rustico so, if they get wiped out again, it isn't so costly to them in losses or rebuilding. Thank you for commenting. No one knows about this little pueblo; I love that you've been here! Happy hunting.

    You may want to wear shoes. Worry that you may step on a rusty knife blade or nail.

    • @MetalDetectingMermaid
      @MetalDetectingMermaid  17 часов назад

      Thank you. Another person commented the same thing. I have been hiking through the jungle barefoot for a number of years. Most all of us do in this small pueblo. We are accustomed to it. When I first started metal detecting and pulling so many sharp bits and pieces off the beach, I was amazed we don't have more accidents. But we don't. It may sound strange, but your feet develop their own wisdom when you live in this fierce and intense environment far away from medical care and walk God's earth barefoot.
      I appreciate your concern and advice. A decade ago, I would have agreed with you and been shocked that anyone would (or could) roam tiny mountain trails in a jungle with bare feet, a bikini, and a knife, and that's been my reality for a long time. When I post a video with a gash and stitches in my foot, you and everyone else are welcome to say, "I told you so."
