Phish... the band is named after the drummer, jon fishman, for a reason... he is a really amazing drummer and unique and eclectic and all that jumbo but he really is an amazing drummer. . Ya kinda have to be when songs are improvised and avg 10 mins a song... He gets so overlooked.. maybe cus he wears a mumu dress with red zeros on it or donuts.. not sure which

I like them too but i agree with the "trademark" sound being repetitive... its a little too depressive and lax rhythm... meaning its hard to dance to. Pretty much the opposite of George Clinton and P-Funk
