I took 6 grams of mushrooms a little over a year ago and thought I lost my mind until three days after what I now know was a sudden awakening was an Alan Watts lecture in my RUclips recommendations. He explained in the most amazing way, my experience of finding out that I am everything.
Happiness is a decision mister. The moment you say " I have decided to be happy from now ". Then your happiness starts from that point until you decide to go back on your word. Even than nothing will change you will remain happy as a punishment 🙏❤️.😅. I am a 10 years into heroin junkie and now the happiest man alive. 😁. I took the decision. May god bless you too👍
Well, he's always great: extremely insightful and intelligent, no doubt. I've listened to many of his talks, and his take on things is VERY eye opening. However, he is the best of what I would consider an 'academic' philosopher, in the English sense!! He never claimed to be a 'guru', but someone who 'enjoyed the sound of his own voice', like a 'bird singing'! I suspect he dabbled with judo, Zen, etc, on a personal level, but.......his medium was ultimately the very vehicle that undermined his messages about Eastern approaches, words and concepts! I'm sure he saw this, of course he did, but ultimately enjoyed words and concepts, and was the penultimate 'player' in this regard!! I'm not being derogatory in saying this at all; but just don't confuse his content with sustained, ongoing training in the Eastern disciplines he talks about. Also, worth mentioning, his alcoholism and smoking, from what I've gathered, ultimately killed him! Nevertheless, I would have loved to have met him, and will continue to listen, with a somewhat reserved ear!
Thats some next level sh*t. Live this guy. I couldntncomprehend it atvage 27. Gotta have s teachet fir this stuff. But it's overwhelming sometimes when I see some of the deception that exists.
Unfortunately, hinduism in its current state is no different from Christianity in the obedience factor Alan mentioned. The oneness of god and "not god" is an idea I'm aware of from my Hindu background. But that's a very superficial understanding, and almost every Hindu I know, certainly every hindu priest I've seen has not the faintest clue of what that means.
I recently visited India during my Asia travel from the UK... I was amazed, particularly in Rishikesh and Varanasi, at how alike the Hindu ceremonies, particularly by the Ganges, were to your typical Christian or Jewish ceremonies in their devoutness, for lack of a better term. It just wasn't what I expected... I always believed that Hinduism was less "religiony" than the Abrahamic religions, but I was proven wrong. And on top of that, how alike the Hindu followers I was with were to Christians that I know. That is to say, when I declined their offer to join them in a prayer (as this to me is a personal thing to do in private - which I believe to be the correct way as many, like Alan Watts, suggest - not as a way to prove or show off to other people that you believe...), one guy in particular who I had spent a good hour or so pleasantly conversing with whilst waiting for the ceremony to start, decided to completely shun me when I said I wasn't going to pray in the water. It was at that moment I realised just how trapped people can be by what I, and Alan, defines as "Religion", irrelevant of what that religion is called or whatever its dogmatic practices are. It was somewhat disheartening, but that may well be due to my own expectation that Hinduism wasn't as dogmatic as the Abrahamic religions.

Facinating that the Chinese Tao is independent of another and that the western Christian is single lord minded.
All this talking it’s meaningless. Back to square one. We don’t know shit about the making miracle … we’re guessing
guessing is hard work
Why is it meaningless?
This guy thought he was God....he knows better now
Is it not written in your scripture that you are gods?
There was a guy who thought he was son of God.. He knows better now 😂
@@felixmoyoedonmi you misinterpret the scriptures, there is 1 true Elohim and His Name is YHWH
