    This is going to be the first movie to make a case for 15a films like these which have appeal to kids . The batman and venom weren’t really connected to the mcu or the DCEU. All the mcu characters are going to be in it. Like rumours of hulk and spiderman and iron man. Like even the parents will says it’s mcu movie and take the kids to only be refused. This movie is also had strong chance of getting billion. The hype is crazy. It’s going to be Spiderman 2002 situation again it’s been long time it feel like time for 15a. Especially movies that are soft 15 like the Batman and venom.

      @thefoxcritic1  27 дней назад +1

      @@HalaMadrid-qy7rk Definitely not the first movie to do it, The Batman, the Venom movies and FNAF have all caused controversy due to their BBFC age ratings. But yeah, this one is going to be an issue. That being said, the previous movies mentioned are 15A-level and are PG-13 in America. Deadpool movies are for adults/older viewers. No younger viewers should be watching this anyway.

    • @HalaMadrid-qy7rk
      @HalaMadrid-qy7rk 23 дня назад +2

      @@thefoxcritic1 Deadpool is not that bad this one will be less worse than 2 and 3 . The mature themes and adult jokes will be reduced . Like honestly deadpool is not bad as the stuff they have on Netflix look at that platform they barely have stuff at 12a a lot are 15 or 18 and Amazon prime where they have the boys kids actually watch worse on that platform. The violence in deadpool is more closer to pg 13 the only difference is that they have extra blood like that makes a big difference lol. The wolverine was 12a and the dark knight those movies had more dark tone that got away with 12a. As for language are the BBFC pretending they don’t live in the UK like what do they think kids hear when thier parents watch footy on the telly or when they have some kind of party or viewing event and kids on the playgrounds say worse stuff and its been going on for decades even they make worse jokes. BBFC also giving movies like anyone but you and similar movies a 15 is way worse they should be at least an 18 they allowing teenagers to watch such things is just stupid look at content description literally something not for kids for 15 year olds. It always weird they think when a kid reaches 15 he magically has the ability to handle all these adult movies like those and putting superhero films like the Batman and venom 1 and 2and sucide squad 2016 in the same category as those films is just absurd. I honestly think Deadpool and wolverine with some cuts would be suitable for at least 15a level like it’s in the mcu they toned it down despite whatever they tell the media acting like it hard r. Like Kevin feige said in an interview it’s ok for kids to see as it is a wholesome movie also Ryan Reynolds took his mum and a 9 year old daughter to see it as well. It’s stupid not allowing kids to see a film that has biggest consequences for the mcu like Spiderman and hulk being in it . Kevin Feige even said in an interview on a scale of 1-10 this movie is 8 as how important it is for the mcu. There should be a 15a for stuff like this at least like this like for action/superhero movies with clear moral guidelines and the action or threat is almost basic. It would be good middle ground like there would be less complaints to the BBFC or at this point they love the complaints like this is a big deal and mcu movie getting a 15 the Batman will be 100 of complaints this will be like 1000s or millions. Especially when it’s the holidays and many families have been looking forward for the film.

    • @thefoxcritic1
      @thefoxcritic1  23 дня назад

      @@HalaMadrid-qy7rk Sorry but that is a horrible take. You have no evidence to suggest that the "mature themes and adult jokes will be reduced". It doesn't matter if kids are watching shows like The Boys, they shouldn't be watching them in the first place and they shouldn't expect to be allowed to watch this film. The violence in Deadpool is far away from PG-13 level. Kevin Feige never said it's ok for kids to see it. He just said it was wholesome. Stop making stuff up. It's not stupid not allowing kids to see this, this film is not for kids. I don't think any families have been looking forward to this when it is clearly not a family film. You need to understand that this is a film for older viewers that is in the MCU as a result of Disney buying Fox.

    • @HalaMadrid-qy7rk
      @HalaMadrid-qy7rk 22 дня назад +2

      @@thefoxcritic1 lol this movie literally has wolverine as its main character Hugh jackman all his movies were 12a except Logan . Like its really restricting its young audience who are fan of him. Also Kevin Feige said it should be down to the parents choice if thier kid should see the film or not. You don’t even have that choice in the UK where other countries you have that choice. Also acknowledge the fact that Ryan Reynolds took his own family to see the movie . No one would take your family to see this film if there are content that literally embarrassing but he did think about the fact he took his mum as well.Second of all I know it’s toned down you look at the BBFC the threat and horror it under a 12a level so the movie is not intense as the previous ones. I never said deadpool and wolverine by it itself without edits should kids see it. Looking at the violence if they were edit out like some scenes make it more under 15a level that would be great. Language is literally not a problem in this country it literally normal at this point it’s baffling it’s also another reason it’s rated 15. If they made a documentary on a British workplaces or school playgrounds that would be rated 15. 15a it’s not even a foreign concept literally Ireland has been doing it for years now look they give more intense films like mad max the newer ones both a 15a even Batman I am pretty sure if deadpool and wolverine could have gotten 15a with edits for sure. Your really underestimating the fact many family’s are going to go this weekend to only be refused this is first mcu film to get a 15 how are families going to follow up on the story where one film which has major consequences for the storyline is heavily restricted like it’s dumb. You can’t tell me kids are not going to be interested in a film that has the hulk and probably Spiderman and even the avengers you can’t just call it a film for older audiences and call it day. This is like the r rated film that has the most appeal to family’s and younger audiences. Why do we listen to the BBFC what are they an expert on literally a few months ago they literally allow teenagers to see anyone but you full of adult jokes and scenes which they should not see unless it’s 18 it’s not even with parent supervision that’s crazy. They barely do the job. Oppenheimer the biggest r rated film got a pg 13 or 12a rating in many countries with edits of course like it’s possible the issue is that are some people are so desperate for older content why are they pushing that on franchises that are for children and younger people if they want older content for them go on Netflix and prime which barely has any stuff for family’s to watch unless your 5 year old which there a lot but a lot of them are cheap story’s. I don’t understand the BBFC thinks a 14 year old when they turn 15 they suddenly possess the ability to hand older content like they are man 15 year olds who can’t handle films that are 15 there are 13 year olds who would understand better it’s different for everyone they should at least give this to parents descision like Ireland and they should try with movies such as this talk to the distributor on how to make edits to get to a 15a level and make a separate one for older audiences with unedited stuff. Yes the previous deadpool were for older audience but this one is entering a family franchise which has been for the same way the last 10 to 15 years this one should gets edits for sure like what the issue remove one or two scenes and remove the blood it not like they filmed it with blood going all around they put that with cgi. I don’t think it’s horrible take for people who can’t go on holidays this is the film they have been looking forward to this will get the highest complaints not because it’s deadpool movie because it’s the first mcu movie to get the rating 15 it’s big deal the issue is people who run Disney barely thought about the international market before making this descison they literally didn’t care because anyone in America can watch with a guardian. It’s dumb and people at the cinema are going to suffer for this with the angry parents it’s going to be huge week for the UK movie industry and BBFC because they barely thought about maybe finding a way to fix this . This is not even separate universe like the Batman or venom . Funny thing Batman was pg13 they literally released some toys for it the BBFC as again did nothing about it the film was less dark than dark knight and that got 12a.

    • @thefoxcritic1
      @thefoxcritic1  22 дня назад

      @@HalaMadrid-qy7rk I don't think you know how the BBFC works. Who cares if people swear in real life? Of course they do. Guidelines are guidelines. End of. America is in the exact same situation. Oh, why should movies be rated R for language? Because it's explicit language. Nobody cares if kids use it in real life. It was never meant to be used by them in the first place. They aren't going to change the guidelines just because kids know swear words. They don't think that 15-year-olds magically get the ability to handle all of this content. It's a general age group. 12, 15 and 18 are all 3 years apart. It's impossible to determine what person can handle what movie, a 13-year-old could handle Deadpool, but a more sensitive 18-year-old might not be able to. Therefore, an age like 15 is a good middle ground for this. The entire argument about how kids should be able to see this because it's in a franchise where almost all of the content has been family-friendly up to this point doesn't make much sense. So change isn't allowed? We should expect the MCU to keep putting out PG-13/12A content forever? We were told years in advance that Deadpool was going to be a part of the MCU. Audiences have been given time to adapt to this change, and if they haven't done that by now, then that's on them. Also, thinking that Deadpool & Wolverine will be tamer because the "threat and horror" is 12A-level is ignorant. Guess what else had 12A-level threat and horror? Deadpool, Deadpool 2, and Logan!
