They crushed that Gambit costume, woah. Tatum’s head is a bit wide for that mask but they went full comic accurate, it looked so damn good. Happy for him that he finally got to play his dream character
Cavillerine was an amazing cameo to be sure, but Chris Evans coming on was the greatest. They do so well making you think it's Steve Roger's AND then BAM! JOHNNY STORM!
Talking about the characters’ costumes is better than doing a spoiler talk. Wolverine’s suit is perfect, this is Deadpool’s best suit and the John Byrne brown and yellow suit in that scene was perfect too. Gambit and Blade had cool suits too. And I liked Human Torch’s waste land F4 suit. Lady Deadpool looked absolutely perfect too!
Channing as Gambit was definitely my favourite cameo, a friend of mine said ‘even if he never plays the character again especially in a solo movie at least he was able to fulfil his dream of finally playing him in live action’ and I completely agree while I also hope that he gets a solo movie in the MCU but I doubt it
I am so glad the Hot Toys Yellow suit wolverine gives you the option to have the sleeveless arms WITH the shoulder armor. Until you said it I couldn't pinpoint why it looked off in the movie without them. It's that silhouette! Absolutely! Seeing how massively well this movie is doing, I can see HT putting out the brown suit.
I watched the movie with my girlfriend and shortly after paradox was introduced, she mentioned how similar he felt to Tom Scott. I couldn’t stop thinking about it, and we shared a lot of looks whenever he was on screen
I loved all the cameos but I really loved seeing Chris Evan’s back as Johnny Storm. But I really lost my shit when Wolverine pulled on his mask. I fanboyed so much. 💯❤️
Wesley mentioned in an interview that they put foam in his suit. Would've loved to see the trench coat and sword. I feel this is just a taste before Secret Wars. Imagine Tobey and all other legacy 2000s heroes fighting together :)
I absolutely loved seeing Hugh in the mask! And the scene where he pulls it on his head like in all animated movies/ shows I almost screamed. Now I’m begging we get to see Batman do the same in the DCU. He always does it in animated projects but this shows it works in live action as well!
This particular Deadpool suit has got to be the All-Time greatest version. It is jaw droppingly well designed and executed. Wolvie’s yellow suit gets all the acclaim and yet!
Seeing wolvie in the brown/gold Fang costume fantastic! Awesome film! The cameo, characters, costumes, and it's great to see Blade again and Henry Cavill as Wolvie! Gonna take a few more viewings to soak up all the details * I'm pretty sure that was Ray Park back as Toad
Every single moment Gambit was on screen, I was staring at the costume, trying to see it from every angle, because I simply couldn't believe they actually did a 100% comic book accurate Gambit in live action.
Great video as always! And Blade Trinity was my big workout motivation back in the day too! Can’t tell you how many times I watched the “training the actors” featurette
Channing Tatum as Gambit was Remarkable! His accent was spot on (and Deadpool making fun of it made it that much better) My only complaints with his costume: The cowl shouldve covered his face a lil more (made him look a bit pudgy), his hair shouldve been a bit longer and wilder, but the biggest complaint, he didnt have the black eyes & red pupils! ....i know i know...everyone wants to see his pretty blues, but damn, they were so close! ..Regardless, i still think he was the Standout MVP (aside from Wolverine putting on the mask)
My only issue w costumes is wolvies metal knuckles. They bend over his hand when he makes a fist like a metal caterpillar and so his claws dont point out of them correctly 6:32, but he looked amazing all around, Deadpool looked vibrant and bright and beautiful, all the variants of each were killer, i especially loved 1 handed wolvie w the motley cru hair 😅, but Gambit...ommfg, "The Gambit" (as he seemed to prefer), was absolutely perfection. We need an X-Men film with costumes by the designer on this m film. Never have i seen better than Gambit, now put that team to work on NIGHTCRAWLER
The costumes were great, I'm working on my Wolverine right now! And just saying, they missed a joke in the Cavillrine scene-Wade should have said something along the lines of: "You could be our Thor! Let's see what the Hemsworth family thinks when it happens to them!" or something. Watching it again, will watch it again some more!
I absolutely LOVED the cameos of those 3. Honestly Ryan Reynolds is Marvel Jesus because without him we would have never gotten ANY of this, including a real Deadpool. Ryan Reynolds to replace Kevin Feige needs to trend lol.
I was thinking about that yesterday the arm reload with Henry 😂 also I was watching X2 and they play Bye Bye Bye in the movie when they escape the mansion. I wonder if that’s a reference to that or they just did it because it would be a funny intro lol
And i also like the best Blade film. Trinity. Glad to find someone who doesnt shill for the obese computer .....person??? or the horribly TERRIBLE rubber bodies scuba diver ninjas in #2. Trinity is by far the best. U go dude 😎
amongst the Deadpool variants, there was a Gandalf-Pool (massive cloak/hood with a staff) a black/grey X-Force inspired Deadpool Deadpool 2099 - the futuristic looking one Cowboy Deadpool, voiced by Matthew McConaughey
The Gambit suit is obviously very accurate, but a little awkward at times. And there's a moment where his coat opens and you can see the purple chest and abs are just kind of a facade. I just wish that detail remained hidden.
I wish they did more with Blade. I wish they put him in his original 1998 vest with jacket... And where the hell did his sword go? He's no longer blade he's "Knife" now 😳. Now Wesley is old so it's natural that he's on the skinny side, Tax fraud will do that to you 😏. But because he's skinny it just makes senses to beef him up and his jacket and vest would absolutely accomplish that for him. I don't know... They did Blade dirty in this film
Watched this movie yesterday and it was a blast. And I really dig Wolverine's mask because, back in the days they said that it's not gonna work, but look what happened. They gave him his iconic mask and IT WORKED! He looks absolutely fantastic with that mask, man. But yeah, sucks that they did not keep those shoulder pads on him, man. But what I also didn't liked is the fact that, his suit is based on not actual X-Men Animated Series Wolverine that we all grew up with, but on Astonishing Wolverine costume. Sure, it is still a Wolverine but I would love to see the realistic adaptation of that animated costume instead. Other than that, the movie is great! I had a blast of a time and I think that I'm gonna get me some physical copy of the movie, if they gonna sell one.
Movie: Hey you want me to show you Wolverine is his comic costume? Me: Yes Movie: Wanna see me do it again? Me: Sure Movie: Again Me: JFC! This is a comic book movie. Not because of the jokes but that they took these looks and scenes an adapted them in a visually interesting manner. The MCU has done it before but not to this level. And it shows what a MULTIVERSE STORYLINE can do for the MCU. You know I'm not a huge fan of AOA Wolverine design.......now I am. But that brown suit........MCU needs to keep that for the next guy. I'm ready to let the Yellow/Blue go for now. Seriously I was on the let's say goodbye to Hugh Jackman as Wolverine......again. But during these scenes I was like "after you make a movie from each of these worlds first". I think these scenes were much stronger going for a stylized comic book scene look. The shots looked vibrant and interesting. Calverine? I think we need this. Sad about the shoulderpads. They did so much but they dropped the ball on the shoulderpads. But I'm glad the committed to the mask. That thing stays on pretty long. Gambit is having a good 2024.....minus the dying.
I googled it earlier last night and apparently it IS Ray Park as Toad, and it IS Kelly Hu as Lady Deathstrike, although it barely shows them...damn shame Blue Tooth Tony couldnt be his Juggernaut and actually say his famous line: "...I'm the Juggernaut, Bitch!"
Gambit is my fave X-man and it makes me laugh so hard looking at Tatum's large marshmallow meathead shoved into that Gambit cowl. Looks really silly. Everything else about his Gambit was great and the movie was great , but Channing, I'm sorry YOU DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT SHAPED HEAD TO PLAY GAMBIT.
what a great movie yeah the story could of been better, the costumes were great. wish they did a little more with Sabretooth even a costume comic style would been a nice twist. omg GAMBIT was amazing sucks they didnt put CABLE in or had more colossus action scenes could of been cool if they did a cartoon animated version along side the deadpool corps to tie in say the spiderverse style animation. hands down 9/10 for me will see it again
I dont know is anyone had actually said it yet here or not, but yes, it was in fact Ray Park who returned as Toad and you know what, its actually kinda cool they got im back for that role.
Of all the Wolvies...the Age of Apocolypse and him on the X were genuine Wow's from me when I saw them. The others were cool as well. The mask on Hugh, though, triggered my OCD. It always seemed skewed on his face. Really enjoyed the movie overall.
When they first go to cassandras hideout, was that black guy in the trenchoat bullseye? It kinda looked like he had the colin farrel scar on his head but couldn’t tell
Jackman looked great in the blue and yellow suit but that brown suit made me loose my mind . Frank Miller's limited edition Wolverine was my first time reading the character. Jennifer Garner still looks good and I lost my mind when Snipes walked in the room . Unfortunately I thought Tatum looked like crap. It's hard to put a person in a comicbook accurate costume and have in look good . Cavil did look good and maybe in Secret Wars we will see him again.
Is it just me or do wolvies claws not quite sit right sometimes? Like, instead of coming out of his hands they just look like they’re being held in between his fingers?
Movie was Awesome the Cameos were fantastic and that Yellow/Blue suit but i was wondering about the blue pads and i wish that his cowl didnt have white eyes
I don’t like how they made fun of comic accurate Wolverine’s height. They made him way shorter than he should be just for comedic relief. Makes it seem like we’ll never get a proper casting especially since they used Cavill who is also tall. Daniel Radcliffe would’ve been much better than Cavill
This film was a fun time but an absolute mess. That ending was like it was dreamed up by a 12 year old boy. But all the fans care about is cameos and costumes, its sad! Literally just man children playing with action figures.
All of the Wolverine costumes were amazing! I wish we could have seen the brown Wolverine costume with the mask.
I’m hoping there will be a Hot Toys of it with the mask.
Same. Perhaps they can use the mask from the deleted scene of The Wolverine. Just a thought.
I honestly thought they’d save the brown and yellow for secret wars, hypothetically.
I get why they didn't, because they were saving the mask for the end... but yeah.. I would've like that too
They crushed that Gambit costume, woah.

And I liked Human Torch’s waste land F4 suit. Lady Deadpool looked absolutely perfect too!
Right now, I would give up a kidney for Hot Toys to release Channing Tatum as Gambit. Give him removable eyes for comic-accurate versions.
Channing as Gambit was definitely my favourite cameo, a friend of mine said ‘even if he never plays the character again especially in a solo movie at least he was able to fulfil his dream of finally playing him in live action’ and I completely agree while I also hope that he gets a solo movie in the MCU but I doubt it
I think the weird floating bit with the cowl is just because of the animated eyes like Deadpool. Otherwise I think it’s mostly practical.
I am absoulty obsessed with hugh jackman's wolverine suit especially when he puts the mask on woooo 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Back in High School I was hyped up for the Gambit movie. Seeing Tatum in the role disappoints me about how cool that movie would have been.
“The Proposal”
I am so glad the Hot Toys Yellow suit wolverine gives you the option to have the sleeveless arms WITH the shoulder armor. Until you said it I couldn't pinpoint why it looked off in the movie without them. It's that silhouette! Absolutely! Seeing how massively well this movie is doing, I can see HT putting out the brown suit.
Wolverine’s cowl was practical. It just looks CGI because of the CGI expressive eyes, kinda like Deadpool
I watched the movie with my girlfriend and shortly after paradox was introduced, she mentioned how similar he felt to Tom Scott. I couldn’t stop thinking about it, and we shared a lot of looks whenever he was on screen
Thanks now I can't get it out of my head
Anyone else wish we got to see Laura have a costume? Out of all the heroes, she's the odd one out.
It’s funny how I care more about the costumes than just about anything else. This is why I love your channel!
All of the costumes are absolutely fantastic! Man I loved this movie!
I absolutely loved seeing Hugh in the mask! And the scene where he pulls it on his head like in all animated movies/ shows I almost screamed. Now I’m begging we get to see Batman do the same in the DCU. He always does it in animated projects but this shows it works in live action as well!
As a die-hard AoA fan, seeing Weapon X was more than I could've hoped for. Hot Toys... Please...
Loved the Gambit suit, That cosplay is going to be great! Can't wait to see that happen.
It genuinely was such a treat seeing Chris Evans return as Johnny Storm, as well as seeing Channing Tatum get his time to shine as Gambit.
This particular Deadpool suit has got to be the All-Time greatest version. It is jaw droppingly well designed and executed. Wolvie’s yellow suit gets all the acclaim and yet!
Seeing Welshpool front and centre was great! Nice to have some representation in such a huge film for wales 😉🏴
That sabertooth wolverine fight was insane 👀🤣
Seeing wolvie in the brown/gold Fang costume fantastic!
Awesome film! The cameo, characters, costumes, and it's great to see Blade again and Henry Cavill as Wolvie!
Gonna take a few more viewings to soak up all the details
* I'm pretty sure that was Ray Park back as Toad
Glad I’m not the only one who recognised Cavill from the tricep close-up shot 😂😂
I hope channing tatums Gambit gets his own movie man
Every single moment Gambit was on screen, I was staring at the costume, trying to see it from every angle, because I simply couldn't believe they actually did a 100% comic book accurate Gambit in live action.
9:32 Cavillrine has way too small forearms to fit proper claws within. Only carpet knives at best.
Gambit saying he was born in the Void... Now that was a great nod to the fact that he never got his own movie even though it was announced.
Gambit was awesome man
Great video as always! And Blade Trinity was my big workout motivation back in the day too! Can’t tell you how many times I watched the “training the actors” featurette
I love that you feel the same way I do about gambit.

I absolutely LOVED the cameos of those 3. Honestly Ryan Reynolds is Marvel Jesus because without him we would have never gotten ANY of this, including a real Deadpool. Ryan Reynolds to replace Kevin Feige needs to trend lol.
Do a Deadpool & Wolverine cosplay.
It's just funny because looking at Wolverine face on, his cowl lookes like two profiles of Batman kissing (once you see it, you'll never unseen it)
Hopefully we get Deadpool & Wolverine: the shoulder pad cut
Did you see there was a Deadpool variant that wears a Greateat Showman type of outfit over his Deadpool costume. The Greatest Poolman 😂
I was thinking about that yesterday the arm reload with Henry 😂 also I was watching X2 and they play Bye Bye Bye in the movie when they escape the mansion. I wonder if that’s a reference to that or they just did it because it would be a funny intro lol

Hey Chris , are you going to make a Deadpool 3 Costume with the New Gold Accents !??
Cheers bro !
😎👍🌴☀️
amongst the Deadpool variants, there was a Gandalf-Pool (massive cloak/hood with a staff)
a black/grey X-Force inspired Deadpool
Deadpool 2099 - the futuristic looking one
Cowboy Deadpool, voiced by Matthew McConaughey

The Snipes and Reynolds fued was a joke. They never hated each other
Accurate height Wolverine broke me
Channing as Gambit was my favorite. Then Blade and Elektra
My favorite cameo was Blade!!!! But I kind of wish he had his trench coat on
It’s ruffalo , u can see in the claws they used the same scream face as in avengers

I so want to cosplay deadpool with a chromed Logan skeleton.
Can we talk about that Welsh deadpool front and centre, nice to see some representation in such a huge film 😉🏴
Where did you get that Hoodie I need it
Movie: Hey you want me to show you Wolverine is his comic costume?
Me: Yes
Movie: Wanna see me do it again?

Awesome vid
Gambit is my fave X-man and it makes me laugh so hard looking at Tatum's large marshmallow meathead shoved into that Gambit cowl. Looks really silly. Everything else about his Gambit was great and the movie was great , but Channing, I'm sorry YOU DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT SHAPED HEAD TO PLAY GAMBIT.
.....what an incredibly silly reason to declare someone unfit for a role.
Movie version of a marvel legends shelf
Yes, Ray did return as Toad
Was total call back to MI with loading up claws
Blade 👊 so great
I saw it today loved it.
i so wanna see Cavillrine again
what a great movie yeah the story could of been better, the costumes were great. wish they did a little more with Sabretooth even a costume comic style would been a nice twist. omg GAMBIT was amazing sucks they didnt put CABLE in or had more colossus action scenes could of been cool if they did a cartoon animated version along side the deadpool corps to tie in say the spiderverse style animation. hands down 9/10 for me will see it again
I love how accurate Gambit's costume was... but the torso piece looks so stiff. Old Batman costumes stiff.
Verbatim I 150% agree with your listing!!!
I dont know is anyone had actually said it yet here or not, but yes, it was in fact Ray Park who returned as Toad and you know what, its actually kinda cool they got im back for that role.
That was not Ray lol. It was a stunt person named Dany Ramos
Of all the Wolvies...the Age of Apocolypse and him on the X were genuine Wow's from me when I saw them. The others were cool as well. The mask on Hugh, though, triggered my OCD. It always seemed skewed on his face. Really enjoyed the movie overall.

Supposedly he had the scar
love it
love it mate
the only good thing about the elektra movie was jennifer garner
she was gorgeous
Tom Holland's brother Harry was also a DP variant.
Channing, and Mathew, as Cowboy pool.
Jackman looked great in the blue and yellow suit but that brown suit made me loose my mind . Frank Miller's limited edition Wolverine was my first time reading the character. TO ME CHRIS EVANS AS JOHNNY STORM WAS THE BEST FOR ME
Is it just me or do wolvies claws not quite sit right sometimes? Like, instead of coming out of his hands they just look like they’re being held in between his fingers?
I'm just saying u should do a cosplay of the wolverine suit but just keep the shoulder pads on
Movie was Awesome the Cameos were fantastic and that Yellow/Blue suit but i was wondering about the blue pads and i wish that his cowl didnt have white eyes
Lady Deadpool is also based off of lively so it's even cooler
Yeah, i didnt get why they lost the shoulder 'pads' or whatever we are calling those things.
its a comedy. who cares if the story made sense or not. It was great laughs
What are the odds we get another brown suit in Secret Wars
He did take one of cyclopses eyes tho. That feels weird to say.
To bad they couldn't get Vinnie Jones back as Juggernaut
Why can’t Logan regrow his hand in AoA?
I don’t like how they made fun of comic accurate Wolverine’s height. They made him way shorter than he should be just for comedic relief. Makes it seem like we’ll never get a proper casting especially since they used Cavill who is also tall. Daniel Radcliffe would’ve been much better than Cavill
Bruh it’s a Deadpool movie what did you expect? Of course DP was gonna make fun of comic accurate Logan’s height
Hate to say it but the cowl design was questionable
My thing is where did he pull it out from? He put it on like fabric but it was metal it then it seems like hes trying to see underneath it
Don't forget about the hot Ladypool 😋😋

Ray Park was not on this movie:)
One comment is plenty.
channing tatum's face has seen better days
Was Gambit costume real or cgi?
Age of apolypse has tsripes on the sides..
