often i'm listening without watching vids while working. the searing and uplifting solos imply visuals of a guitarist on a clifftop overlooking an ocean sunset, as observed by a circling helicopter. i find it hilarious to open the youtube tab to see our Jonathan in his dark little room.
I just found your page thanks to the YT algorithm. I subscribed straight after listening to you play. WOW. That Sire strat is the one I have looking at myself.$1300.00 here in Australia. That's about my limit on spending. I'm also looking at the L7 with P90's. These guitars are so good I can get two for the price of a Fender or a Gibson.
Just got my S7 vintage a few days ago. It took 6 months to get one in. Got it in black. Besides being just a beautiful looking guitar. The craftsmanship is high level ... Especially the neck is outstanding. The pickups are great ... Quiet on mine/Larry Carlton. I really like how responsive the tone knobs are on this guitar. You can get very bright tones and then really round it out when backed off for a lush standard clean jazz tone. . Very wide tone sweep , kind of like a cry baby. I did have to do a basic set up to suit my playing. Truss rod, action. Set the vibrato arm to my liking and pickup height. I love it. Very affordable.
That is as Strat as you can get tone wise Jon. It looks wonderfully made too and cheaper over here than a Fender Player. I loved the intro- cheers 😃👍❤️
Love the Sire roasted maple necks and rolled fret edges...very comfortable. I played a T & S 7 the other day. Both beauties ! Both over 8lbs...yeah I know Jon...💪 LOL. I think for the money, these are a steal...even the Fender Player Series do not offer locking tuners, bone nuts or the nicer necks...PLUS they're approx. $250 more ! Yeah...really digging Sire ! Thanks Jon ! 😊
At last you have reviewed a guitar than i own, the only difference is that i went for the HSS model and bought it last year before the prices went up! It realy is a lot of guitar for your money, and far better than a Fender Strat. It sounds far better in your hands Jonathan.🙂
a lot of good priced guitars on the market at the moment and these seem to be one of the best brands, very well built, great pickups and very reasonable prices.
It appears that the whole Larry Carlton series of Sire guitars are pretty good, and reasonably priced. Can't see why anyone wouldn't want one of these in their guitar collection! Great easy listening and masterfully played intro, Jon! Always a pleasure to login here to chill out and enjoy!
Man,,,brother I sure am glad to see you demo this one. I would have to guess that if you have to choose just one , you would probably prefer the FM HSS version. I will probably get both eventually. But I must say , the T7 FM is outstanding at least from what I have seen. So the million dollar question is , which Larry Carlton is the best all around.?? I know you really don't want to answer that but I couldn't resist asking. Thanks again John. Cheers 🍻
after your reviews i bought the l7 and the t7..now i go for the s7...great gitars for the prize..i realize i'll never sound like you Jon..you're the Best !!!..
one more question Jon..an advice! now i have a usa strat hss..sire t7 hh and a sire l7..now i have to choose between the s7 sss or s7 hss...whats your advice?!

Beautiful playing Jonathon i have an S7 In flame maple blue, it is a perfect guitar, love it love it love it, enjoyed the run through on the pick ups to sjow its versatility
You will get to know when the guitar is so good, when the guitar reviewer keeps playing and enjoying it ,almost he forgot to say something about the guitar
@@JonIsJustTooLoud I have been playing and recording with this guitar, and I am astonished by the sheer quality, feel, playability, and sound you get. For the price, this is epic! Thank you for helping me make up my mind. I made the right choice :)

Great, lovely playing and succinct, no nonsense review. Great for a beginner to digest. Happily subbed and all the very best, Jon 💕💕
I've been considering one but they seem a bit too showy too me. The dark roasted maple stands out too much. They should have opted for a lighter flamed maple instead
Hello there, great guitar. I'm not sure what choose between the sire S7 S-S-S and H-S-S. I'm used to play strats with 2 tone controls. I'm asking myself if the H-S-S version (with just one tone control) can be a downside in terms of tone versatility. Furthermore I'm looking for crispy clean sound even for jazz or fusion so In your opinion are more suitable the H-S-S pickups or the S-S-S ? thank you
Exquisite playing, good sir! I fell in love with this S7, and with the G&l Doheny lol, which one of both guitars do you consider the most thick, dynamic tone from the neck pickup?
Hi Jon followed you for a few years now and really enjoy your playing, regardless of what brand of guitar you play the sound you get is always stunning, I can never get close to those tones and it is so frustrating, could you give a rundown on what gear you are using and how you create those wonderful tones, regards
