2. It is known as a great school for academics. i know someone who goes there and says it was pretty challenging.
3. yes they have a 'drama' club but its called theater.
4. Not when school is in session, im pretty sure you have to ask the office to ask for one.
5. Yeah, but there are of course some changes as the movie was made a long time ago.
6. They have a musical for it but of course they dont sing it on the daily.
7. There are a lot of rich kids that go there but it honestly just like any other public school.
I hope that answered your qusetions accurately. I know a lot of people that go there but i dont necessarily go there myself, but at least i tried.

I GO TO THIS SCHOOL!!!! I've never seen the movies but I go to this school. I've seen the pink lockers which are still there. We don't break out in song at random, it's just a normal high school with a little Hollywood fame. Ask questions and I will answer them

Yes, definitely check it out if you find yourself in Salt Lake City Utah! Anyone can just go in (although we visited during the summer so it was easy and we weren't disrupting anything)

That is one BIG AND CLEAN school! 😮😅 It's honestly cool that it's an actual normal high school used as a set. Makes you wanna sing the songs on n every part of the school.

My grandpa went to this school, my grandparents pass by it all the time, and so do I when I go to salt lake.
What’s so weird is when people see this school they freak out but I am a student in this school, it is in downtown Utah and many subs we have actually know some of the actors and have their numbers.

They filmed a movie at my school a couple years ago and I was an extra in it - it was super weird seeing my school get used in a different way! The movie hasn't come out yet but I'm really excited to see how it turns out!

Most movies and tv shows take a picture of a random school and change the name of the school for the movie and build a set or film in a different school. I guess this one was perfect for the inside and out and got permission to use for the movie.
This remind me of where half of The Breakfest Club was filmed which was at a now closed down high school in Des Plains, Illinois. A suburb in Illinois. Where I used to live and if it wasnt closed down I would so go there like damn.

You know the only reason I thought high school musical’s settings were obviously filmed on separate sets is because that cafeteria is UNGODLY. Looking at this now, this high school looked like it should have been expanded into a college, I wonder what’s the story behind the building aspect.
