Thanks for this video. I actually lived in Point-Saint Charles from 1984 - 1987 on Fortune Street, but never visited the shop. I noticed boxcab 6717 in the shop for maintenance I suspect. Sad seeing all those cabooses and that gutted F unit. Thanks much!
Glad you enjoyed the video. Fun to have a look at some old beta footage of a great time in railroading
Do you have any videos of the power station. It was really impressive how they produced their own power.
+Corry Delhanty Sorry Corry. This is all I have
Glad you enjoyed this footage. I retro look at railfanning back in the day.

Glad you like this little trip into the past. Part of our railroad history and was the largest employer in the country.
cool video! Wish I lived closer would love a horn off on of the dead engines and a deck bell.
Hallowed ground! I am happy I got to witness the 1980-2000 period of the CN - AMF - ALSTOM PSC Shop,
Yes things are sure different these days.
very nice thanks for the post.
Yes we were very lucky to find our old footage and publish it ...Glad you enjoyed it.
This is just incredible.
Glad you like it
WOW...want an awesome video!!!!
so many great things were built/modified in that shop. it's a shame CN got rid of it
Ok since this video is old is there any CN cabooses left whatsoever? I like them cause they are longer than a regular caboose.
