I've just started this game and I have no history of shooter games like this. I feel completely vulnerable just running around not knowing what to do. It's terrifying

go towards the red objective or follow ur teammates if they're defending , don't always run around try to find temporary camping spots

I was up in a building with an MG42 wasting dudes and at the same time watching the stairwell because they kept trying to come up after me. Reminded me of that hand to hand combat scene from saving private Ryan shooting through the walls and shit 😂

Gameplay is really at an all time best right now, we just need the levels of communication we had a year a go. But that itself starts with us.

When you get a team with good commander, good communication between ssquadmates, and also between officers and the command.... it's a fucking thing of beauty
Problem is a lot of ppl are call of duty players and that says it all about why they don’t communicate
Been trying to communicate but it’s hard when you got toxic squad mates that don’t want to do anything. I’m only a level 30 and I’ve had to be an officer many times because nobody will pick the role. I’ve even tried to communicate as a squad leader and have only had dickheads say “Our squad leader isn’t very good.” You can’t win either way, they’ll either not be a squad lead or just ridicule anyone who tries it, I’ve had multiple games where we didn’t even have a commander. It’s just how people are now, like woody says in White men can’t jump- “you’d rather look good and lose, than look bad and win.”
Love this game shame few ppl dont use comms or going rouge...

My son plays the game and he is a WW2 „fan“, he knows every vehicle, every weapon - he loves HLL.
He turned the game from a shooter to a tank simulation. He is a tank commander most of the time, he plays the game with distance to the enemy and kills most of the soldiers from hidden places in his tank.

I've just started this game like 2 weeks ago and love it! The first time I played, I could survive for 1 minute at most and I didn't communicate. Now I realize that you can't enjoy the game without communication and without taking the game seriously.

This is incredible. I never knew a company like Team17 which made the cartoonish but legendary, "Worms" games actually has this game as one of their products. Looks really nice!
I was in a match last night behind enemy lines and I had all the infantry running in front of me I was in a reconnaissance vehicle and as I fired the a teammate appeared out of nowhere and got his head split in half by my tank. But it's so realistic especially when you're in the armoured when your tracks go out and if you have no one to repair them you're travelling everywhere at 1 mile an hour

Gameplay on console is at an all time low. Teammates from Game Pass are all COD kids…no mics, no communications, no commanders, and God help you if you play Defense only, because it’s a 100% chance your team will abandon the point and attack the enemy frontlines for no reason…it’s so bad 😭
I started playing and the amount of fear from a stray bullet or artillery from the enemy or allies is scarier.

Bro in game the sound is insane. You can hear the difference in bullets flying over your head or snapping if they're close. The tank shells flying past your head literally sound like real life

Got it last night since it was in sale and I’ve never been able to finish a battlefield 2042 match but was able to play a whole match on this game it’s fun being shot and not knowing where they
Bought on sale too played 1 game and thought it was slow. Didn’t play for 2 days got back on and now I can’t go a day with out playing 1 match atleast. Best fps in my opinion. Started with 3 kills a game to now 15+. I stay being a officer , anti tank , medic , assault and machine gunner

Hello awesome game play! Do you use a controller still? Kinda looks like it but can’t tell 100%? As I play on pc and use a controller I had to map all binds to my controller using steam so all buttons comes up as a keyboard.
This is keyboard and mouse on PC. Doesn't sound fun mapping all those keyboards! Ha
it was surprisingly easy than said, they do have controller support same as console but for some reason when i aim in its freezes and lags so i had to make the controller act as a keyboard and mouse i still get 50 kill games and sometimes higher so im not complaing@@ChrisTeeGaming
Cant say its really fun to run around for any number of times just to immediately get shot. Most of this game is just running to battle insteas of actually fighting. And prone is pretty useless too. Hidden and in cover and still get shot.
And yet somehow I still want to play.
If you habe good officers + comander you have spawns everywhere also when engineeers fortify etc but its rare to get a match where everything works as it should together as a machine !😂
Stick with people, ideally consisting of a medic so combat can happen for many minutes. Constantly check map and predict where enemies may be

What’s it like to even see the enemy?
In the 15/20 times I’ve played this, I’ve been killed over thirty times, not once seen an enemy soldier and the only bullets I’ve fired were when I dropped the controller
Usually in games like this, I play as a sniper: I can find excellent spots and will sit still for as long as it takes but in this game, sniper is ALWAYS swooped up by others and doing anything (ie walking 20 minutes to find any hint of a battle only to be single shotted by someone you never, ever see let alone fight is absolutely sucking the soul out of me
I got to the stage 15 mins ago where I actually deleted the game as I don’t need a hiking simulator with a DiGNiTAS ending - and every players advice if the same - work as a team, but nobody has ever spoken in my games
Wehere did all the communication go? I'm playing this game since release and it never was that bad. All the bf and cod newbies seem to have overtaken our community. It seems like they really just want to run around killing people. This game isn't a deathmatch. They really don't understand the point of the game.

It’s not important just have it low and get used to it, anything too high and you won’t be able to aim well at long range. Low sens and stick to it, don’t go changing it.

I bet my rtx 3070 will run it at atleast a smooth 75 fps, probably would run it higher but I got a 4k 60 fps monitor tht I customized and bottle necked my resolution to 75 fps 😂

Didn't even know this game was on console until yesterday...ive been playing Insurgency Sandstorm for the past 2.5 years im wondering if my experience in that will help me succeed in this game? Obviously controls are not the same but as far as the gameplay and how u need to move around to be successful
This is a lot slower than insurgency and you need to move more carefully. It's a different beast but if you're used to being one shotted in the dome from nowhere you'll feel at home playing this. Then once you have a good number of hours under your belt, the penny will drop and you'll be a badass WW2 soldier who communicates with their team and creates some insane Band Of Brothers moments. Come join the fight soldier, we need YOU!

Yeah ash is right. It is a different experience though. People miss on console, they are more accurate on PC. I find it harder to stay alive on PC personally. You have to use cover a lot more on PC
I’d say get it on ps5. On ps5 you’re gonna be plying against Xbox and ps players which are practically similar when it comes to hardware meaning nobody is gonna have an advantage when it comes to visibility. On pc, someone who has a better up to date pc is gonna see things more clearly in game compared to someone playing on a potato pc lol

If I didn't know that you play on a console, I would think it was a PC. My arms are straight, but it doesn’t work out that way yet. Perhaps my poor knowledge of English is letting me down and that’s why I’m poorly coordinating my moves in the game. And sometimes I don’t see the enemy, or I lose sight of my allies - this is a big problem for me.

If we talk about realism its with Squad 44. There we have stamina and no icons on friendly players at distance. Not to mention other stuff. Its a shame HLL is way more popular.

Greatest game ever made in my opinion but they need to get rid or the voting garbage that pops up to kick a player or atleast change the buttons you push to vote because ive been killed multiple times trying to crouch and i cant because the voting garbage is up there and i have to hit x. In the middle of a high stress situation its really difficult to even see the vote thing pop up

@@ChrisTeeGaming PS is still a fun game to play. Now that it has been bought by the devs who made SQUAD, it's being brought new life. I bought the game 2 weeks ago and have been playing it every chance I get. Although, I will say the visuals are better in HLL but PS (now called Squad 44) is still really fun.
So I have the game on the steam deck and while I’m enjoying it I feel ashamed for not having a headset for communication😢😠. But overall I’m enjoying the game still learning how to play the role of the soldiers.

M1 Garand is way too OP. Only like G43. FG42 scoped and SVT even come close to competing with it. Missed your Kar shot from 10 feet away? Oh say hello to a full hip fire clip dump from my garand.
@@UsaRubber…? The m1 garand shot a 30-06 round. Literally more stopping power than the 8mm Mauser, which is what the mg42 and k-98 shot.
It’s definitely not over powered. I’m sure the guys who took a shot from a garand was put down with one round. That’s the realism. This isn’t COD.
