    Great video! Thank you alot.
It's quite hard to refurbish or repair, resp. As a lubricant, I used oil spray. But still the white main button makes trouble. Graphite is worth a try!

A lot of stuff uses gravity, and I found the light pieces with oil won't drop.

I had one of these as a kid (originally belonged to my dad), but he always called it Tricks And Traps. He told me he called it that because when he played Doom 2 back in the day, there was a level in that game called Tricks And Traps lol. Wish we still had the thing, I’d be able to repair it nowadays.

You could do 10 of these and I'd still be happy to see ya face and hear ya voice filling my silent loungeroom. G'day, Randi, from Downunder :)

Can you glue a washer to the back of those gears to keep them from breaking? Like what is shown at 9:15 It seems to me that if you glue a washer to the backside of the gear, it will keep it from splitting. But I've never tried it.

It would work all the way until it doesn't. The only way any glue can stick to nylon is by getting mechanically locked in any roughness you add to the gear. No glue is going to chemically bond to the nylon.

We can DEFINITELY tell you had done that before! Do you find that the quality of parts is going downhill? I don’t do the same stuff as you but I’ve noticed a downturn in quality myself

Hi Randi! Where do you get all your various size 0lastic replacement gears? Especially good quality. I've got ones from Ebay and Temu before but they tend to be flimsy, and there's never much variety.

Mainly off ebay. I grab a couple bags of the assortments usually. 10 tooth and worm drives, I sometimes buy by themselves, because I use them so much.

Would headlight polish work on the clear plastic? For that matter it'd be softer than the Polycarbonate that headlights are made of, toothpaste might work & would be much cheaper than headlight polish.

Possibly. One day I'll risk ruining something to find out.

I use Novus plastic polish. Novus 3 is a coarser grit, 2 is fine grit, 1 is almost like glass cleaner but for plastic. I mostly use Novus 2 for my arcade game repairs and any time I polish plastic. I have some Novus 1 but I mostly use it as a plastic cleaner. I rarely need Novus 3 but I find that it works very well for removing scratches (softening the curves of the scratch by removing material) followed by Novus 2 and probably finishing with Novus 1 if needed. It’s a very nice product.

Thanks for sharing such valuable information! Could you help me with something unrelated: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
