I agree we have cooking sheets and cooling racks on their side. We also use the stack racks for the skillets and pans. The rack fits in front of the shelf ( we have the same shelf you have that's way in the back). In other cabinet I put a pull out shelf on the very bottom so I can see what's in the back under the uppershelf
Plastic cutting boards actually leach plastic into your foods. You don’t need to bleach your dishes or cutting boards to sanitize them. Just wash them right after use.
That was a very cute video I really like your guys kitchen and how you but your things in the cabinets the ideas you have for the stuff is great the boys are getting so big and cute I really liked the video thank you for the video and your guys time I hope you and your family has a great rest of your day and week thanks again ❤
up for pans and side for lids ( just how I do it ) Kitchen is beautiful and I agree with the white and decorating. You also can change your decor when you get bored and not hve to worry about matching anything. 🥰
I store my cookie sheets, cutting boards on their side. It takes up less space. I install metal sliders. This way, I don't have to go digging. Your kitchen looks great, I completely love the counters! I've been in my home for almost 5 years and have reorganize a few times. 😊
Marci you should have both kinds of cutting boards. Bamboo for fresh vegetables and the ones you already have are fine for meats. Store standing uprights so they can air out.
We feed our Blue Heeler Victor Hi-Pro plus. Made in Texas bagged in McAlester Oklahoma. She has been on it for her whole life and is super healthy. The vet is very pleased with her weight and health. Most importantly she doesn't stink and her hai isn't nasty feeling even when she is way over due a bath. Feed our chickens Big V Mills feeds also out of McAlester. My family lives there so even though I am in the Houston area I can still help Oklahoma economy.
When our kids were little, they had their own cupboard, with plastics and pan lids, kept them entertained while I was cooking and out of my way and knew where they were. Enjoy your NEW kitchen that you have waited forever for!!! Yes Dog Food is Horrible and the truth!!!
Depending how big your cabinet is and the cutting boards I would get some magazine caddies that you stand your magazines up in and use it for storing the cutting boards. Then you can slide it out when you want a board, I would do the same with cookie sheets.
I think it’s great that you chose the black “pulls/handles”. The counters turned out so beautiful. You would really appreciate pull out trays for your pots & pans cabinet. Pull out trays are the best for lower cabinets. You are doing a great job organizing with what you already have!! Good decision for the location of the meds. above the fridge.
Love your kitchen Marci. The twins are changing so much, they look so different from when they were born, they are adorable and I love how Maverick interacts with them.
Hi Crandall , Marci and boys I am so excited to see y'all got a new video up 😊 I am so happy for y'all to get your kitchen remodeling done complete with cabinets and counter tops . Y'all's house is Gorgeous beautiful I love it . Sending lots and lots of hugs , love , blessings and countless prayers for y'all ❤🙏🏻
For my pans I have a deep drawer that I put them in and just pull it out to get the pant that I need. I LOVE IT, Will never go back to shelves for them ever again.
Cookie sheets cutting boards metal racks muffin and cake pans on their side against the wall. Easy access for finding and putting away. Love the spice storage. God’s blessings
When those babies were little, I thought they were identical twins I can’t believe that. I can’t believe I thought that because looking at them now they look like two completely separate little people.❤
We have always cooked and prepared food for our dogs, with only maybe one meal a week from well recommended tinned dog food, and only travelling on holiday trips some dry food as well as the tinned food. The meals cooked meat including ox tongue, ox heart, beef/lamb/chicken liver, chicken (never cooked bones) and lamb, mixed with various vegetable, some cooked or raw grated occasional small sliced, and then blended with rice puffs, potatoes, cooked rice, occasional, not daily, raw egg. That included large dogs like German Shepard, or mixed breed Labrador, Collie, Shepard as well show dogs, including Terrier, Lhasa Apso and Chihuahuas . Over 60 years something over 6 larger dogs and over 30 show dogs with a number of litters of pups. All had good healthy lives, good coat, most lived to well over 10 years. Cats have had selected brand dry and wet foods.
Great video Marci! I'm so excited for you and your family. A new kitchen is one of my dreams. I would love to reorganize my kitchen to make more sense to me instead of how someone "thinks it should be". Who keeps ziploc bags stored in multiple places throughout the kitchen? Someone in my house does, not me though. I use wood for veggies and plastic for meats, chicken, or anything else I need to disinfect. I also use a rack for my cutting boards to store them vertically in one of my cabinets.
Marci I bought a rack on Amazon that holds my cutting boards, cookie sheets, and cooling racks standing up. Saves so much space. My pan cupboard has a 2 shelf metal rack that mounts in my cupboard to hold my pans and lids. The drawers pull out for easy reach of the pans and are deep enough for stacking all of them. Great idea mounting your collapsibles on the door. I tried the bag and wrap organizers and hated it. The one you showed might be more to my liking. I know Becky on Acre Homestead has that one and she loves it. I was lucky enough to find a gentleman who makes different size cutting boards from old formica counter tops. Perfect for cutting anything including meat. Easy to clean and disinfect. I also bought metal magnetic racks that hang on the side of my fridge to hold oils and spices i use frequently like with every meal. So excited to see the shelving, hood, and backsplash. You have excellent taste decorating. The kitchen is fabulous so far, i would love to have that big island!
Have you heard of Dr. Pol’s Dog Food regime? I live in the town where Dr. Pol is located, and I fed my dog his food, too. My yellow lab had issues (anxiety) and as my service dog, and Dr. Pol(our vet) advised to feed her his brand. It works! Good luck with the feeding of Goose. I also was making mine her own dog food occasionally. It calmed her down. Love the kitchen and watching the boys. The kitchen is beautiful! Good job, Crandall!🥰❤️🙏🏻
Marci, I am so glad that the dresser is over by your front door. It did not look right across from the kitchen. Your kitchen is coming alive. Lol. If Crandall ever gets it done, it will look beautiful. I love the color of your shelves. I got a glimpse of them as you were talking and walking.
Marci, My pots and pans, in the cabinet, have a pull out shelf on the bottom. The top shelf also pulls out for my lids. I didn't think it would work. I was surprised it did. This is also located next to my stove on right side. Every thing is coming together well. White is ok. I got tired of colors. I painted my walls white. Now I can mix any colors I want. The back splash you choice is beautiful, .It will give a warm cozy and welcome feeling to the home. 😃
Silicone cutting mats works really well and easy to clean. I like sideways pans, you see easier. Love you kitchen. By the way there is a fun holiday every month you can add color with. Love you all. You could have one on the bottom for kids plates, so they learn to help set table and after they are clean, they can help put away.
Marci, use a pot lid holder to put your cutting boards in. Keeps them neatly stacked, easily taken out to use👍👍 At a later date, Crandall can add pull out shelves in you lower cupboards.
I use a 3 compartment dish drainer for dishes to put my cutting boards and cooking sheets . I got mine from the dollar tree. I use one that is coated with a rubber seal.
Putting spices in a drawer, is so great for organizing and not taking up as much space. Pots and pans I stack pans on top of each other ..flip their lid on each pot or pan and stack next size down on top. I have a lazy Susan cabinet for my pots and pans and small appliances.
Your canisters and decor will stand out against the white walls and counters. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ It. Lowe's, Walmart and other stores have standing racks for flat cookware and cutting boards.
We did white on white on white and we love it. We have a little more warmth in our countertop and we did large white picket tiles on the vertical with light grey grout. We have black accents, too. No regrets
Marci, enjoy your organization in the silverware drawer because once the boys grow up forget organization. I have 4 kids and when they were small all was great but once they grew up and can do for themselves the silverware drawer and closets where always a mess because no one put anything away like I did. My husband was worse than the kids. ENJOY it while it last.....
Marci I am so happy you love the measuring cups! It is nice to know they are useful…especially since they are marked so Crandall cannot blame you for measuring something wrong 😅😂🤣 I am looking forward to seeing the new kitchen. As for the dog food, we have to buy a special sensitive stomach and skin dog food for our two dogs. They were puking every time they ate. We also found any of the treats that have red food coloring (why dog treats need coloring is beyond me) make them puke also. The boys are adorable and you all are such great parents!
I lean mine up against the backslash, I use bamboo, and have different sizes so it looks decorative as I layer them. Large in back, then medium and small over the large. But I put the smaller ones standing up on end in front. Makes it super convenient for me, and I have limited cabinets.
I love the wood shelves. You left them the light wood color. Yes you showed some 😂 I am imagining 2 shelves over each cabinet and the stove hood in the middle. ❤😊
The kitchen looks so good. I just love those counter tops too. Have Crandall install some of those pull out drawers in the cabinets for your pots and pans. They are a back saver.
I buy cheap file holders at thrift stores. I store my cookie sheets; cutting boards; skillets; and pot lids in them. Frees up space. Your kitchen Marcie. Your choice!
Get Crandall to build you a rack for your cutting boards that will fit in that cabinet. The kitchen is looking amazing yall have done a great job on it. God bless yall.
Definitely install metal sliders you can get them in single as well as two shelf or shelf and a half worth every penny! Cutting boards and cookies sheets on side less space as mentioned and keeps you from having to dig
I find myself reorganizing a couple times a year. Helps get rid of extras and items I don’t use and find items in the back of the drawer. Good luck and put items frequently used for cooking close to stove
I have a wood meat cutting board it has a drip edge like to cut cook meat on. I have glass & stone boards plus plastic. I lay my baking sheets on sides. Stack pots and pans. Set wood cutting boards up against back of counters.
You can buy stick on vinyl square floor tiles (cheap one) and stick on the bottom of the cabinet under the sink. It helps protect from water damage that can happen from the sink.
Yes Marcie that's a word worne plum out we say that here in Florida, it's looking good can't wait to see it all done, that's a good idea to move all meds up high.
They make racks that stand up cutting boards, they show them for pans & lids as well. I saw someone use letter/folder holder for cutting boards, it depends how heavy they are.
Baking sheets and cutting boards store sideways. Pots and pans stack. Just my opinion.
I agree. I have my cookie sheets and cutting boards standing on their sides. Takes way less space and not as likely to get dusty (or whatever) IMHO
I love your kitchen and looking forward to seeing the completed project. I have an all white kitchen also and love it.
I use wood cutting boards as hot plates instead of putting something hot on my counter tops
I keep my cookie sheets, cooling racks and oblong metal pans in the drawer of my stove. All metal things. It works well.
I like pullouts for pots and pans.
Plastic cutting boards actually leach plastic into your foods. You don’t need to bleach your dishes or cutting boards to sanitize them. Just wash them right after use.
Before you fill up the base cabinets look into installing slide out shelving. The cabinets by the stove would be the best place to start👍
They are a must! Once you have used them, you can't do without them. ☺
Marci you accidentally sneak peaked the shelves! They look beautiful, love the color.
I saw too! 😂🤣
That was a very cute video I really like your guys kitchen and how you but your things in the cabinets the ideas you have for the stuff is great the boys are getting so big and cute I really liked the video thank you for the video and your guys time I hope you and your family has a great rest of your day and week thanks again ❤
You can use all the same sized pulls, by putting two regular pulls on the longest draws. I like that you chose black pulls.
Stack the pans. Cutting board's vertical. Everyone has a junk ❤❤drawer
I've been making my dog home made dog food for a year now. She's doing so much better especially since she's 14 years old. Good on you guys!
I store cutting boards vertically since we have several different kinds and sizes.
Sideways for cookie sheets, pans stack
Looks beautiful, Great job Crandall.❤❤🤍💖
up for pans and side for lids ( just how I do it ) Kitchen is beautiful and I agree with the white and decorating. You also can change your decor when you get bored and not hve to worry about matching anything. 🥰
You need to install the sliding wire racks in you carets so easy to pulll out and reach everything
You have already shown us a sneak peak of the floating shelves twice now😂. What I saw looks great
Everything is beautiful I love the countertops!
I like the side holder for skillets
Now you can see the light at the end of the tunnel getting everything in its place will be fantastic.
We feed our Blue Heeler Victor Hi-Pro plus. Made in Texas bagged in McAlester Oklahoma. She has been on it for her whole life and is super healthy. The vet is very pleased with her weight and health. Feed our chickens Big V Mills feeds also out of McAlester. My family lives there so even though I am in the Houston area I can still help Oklahoma economy.
I love the black door handles..I was hoping you would choose black..
Oh and the cookie sheet holder is for cutting boards..
Everything looks so nice. Caught a glimpse of Crandals project…gonna be nice!
👏💜👍
When our kids were little, they had their own cupboard, with plastics and pan lids, kept them entertained while I was cooking and out of my way and knew where they were. Enjoy your NEW kitchen that you have waited forever for!!!
Yes Dog Food is Horrible and the truth!!!
It's looking absolutely gorgeous, I'm do pleased it's all starting to come together x
Your home, You style. Enjoy
Depending how big your cabinet is and the cutting boards I would get some magazine caddies that you stand your magazines up in and use it for storing the cutting boards. Then you can slide it out when you want a board, I would do the same with cookie sheets.
Try thinking about pull out shelves. Saves you back and with two pull outs more storage Looking good

You stack your silverware just like I do.
The boys are getting so big!😊❤
Store cutting boards in a small cabinet close to the stove or sink so their handy to pull out n cut wet veggies or meats.
Hi Crandall , Marci and boys

I am so happy for y'all to get your kitchen remodeling done complete with cabinets and counter tops . Y'all's house is Gorgeous beautiful I love it .

You can get hanging spice racks for the pantry door...inside of course.
For my pans I have a deep drawer that I put them in and just pull it out to get the pant that I need. I LOVE IT, Will never go back to shelves for them ever again.

You showed the floating shelves ( light brown 🤫 )
Wood is self cleaning. I stand them on edge to save space. Use a lid rack on it's side. Kudos to watching Goose's health.
Get Crandall to build you a peg rack for your cutting boards
Marci, I am so glad that the dresser is over by your front door. It did not look right across from the kitchen. Your kitchen is coming alive. Lol. If Crandall ever gets it done, it will look beautiful. I love the color of your shelves. I got a glimpse of them as you were talking and walking.

I am loving the house renovations ❤️🇦🇺
Your kitchen is absolutely beautiful and soooo bright! Love it and love y'all too!❤️
Great idea for decorating for holidays.
Marci, use a pot lid holder to put your cutting boards in. Keeps them neatly stacked, easily taken out to use👍👍

I use both Wooden and plastic cutting boards. I like to have mine standing in the cabinet for storage.
I love the wood shelves. You left them the light wood color. Yes you showed some 😂 I am imagining 2 shelves over each cabinet and the stove hood in the middle. ❤😊

I love your white on white on white!
Thank you for sharing this! Great content! I love y'all!
Also get a rack for baking sheets and use one of the sections for your cutting boards.
Congratulations Marci!
Target has an organizer with all the different size zip lock bags with the bags in already! I think it was $12 it's awesome!
Coming along nicely!
