    This is the first video like this I have seen and it really was so helpful to see the very chaotic but also sweet reality that is cleaning, regardless of ADHD. Seeing everything unedited, not sped up, and having the conversations makes me feel like I am working with friends and actually really does motivate me to clean too. I love that the answer is sometimes 'IDK, we will get to that later when there is less going on' is really nice to hear, as well as 'okay, then let's figure it out now so it doesn't become a thing'.

    Amazing transformation in a small amount of time! I know it’s possible because I just spent three decluttering sessions with Chloe via FaceTime and it worked perfectly. Nice to sit and watch this video and revisit all the strategies that made great changes in my spaces as I worked together with Chloe to make it happen.I was feeling stuck and needed the support to help move forward and Chloe has the perfect amount of push, understanding, and encouragement to get to the other side. It’s so motivating to get out from under the clutter and see what’s possible next . Thank you for everything Chloe!!!❤

    • @ClutterFreebyChloe
      @ClutterFreebyChloe  Месяц назад

      @@deepthicynthia curious to hear more! What makes you think this is inefficient?

    • @deepthicynthia
      @deepthicynthia 29 дней назад

      @ leaving the room so many times to keep objects 1 by 1 in other rooms, firstly take away so much of the 2 hour dedicated slot, distracts you because you go to the next room and see the entire clutter and you’re even more reinforced that this is never ending, and lose focus on task at hand, and just basically tired from all the back and forth multiple times. The amount of time she physically left the house to go outside to do 3 tasks like the honey thing, keep in car, shed twice, just was painful to watch.
      You didn’t even clean that much area and took 2 hours ONLY because you were being inefficient with back and forth.
      Have a box just at the entrance of the room you’re cleaning. If they have to be taken to a different room put it in that. Once the bag is full go around the house and keep it at the entrance of every room.

    • @deepthicynthia
      @deepthicynthia 29 дней назад

      That’s it. You have more time to declutter and you’re not tired by just cleaning the counter. Do right to left, yes you can do trash, move things, but y’all were just jumping from one to another. Instead of you take every item from left to right and saw is this for this room , keep, trash, that would be better strategy.
      Lastly don’t arrange or find a spot when you’re decluttering. Already overwhelming process of decision making is happening. Keep the organization for a different time or a round 2 when you come back after decluttering. Y’all were all over the place. Yes you got it done, but it took waaaaay too long. I too have ADHD, but having processes which CUT down time is 💯 needed

      @@deepthicynthia Thank you for sharing your thoughts! I totally understand why the “take it there now” step might seem a bit counterintuitive. When we first hear it, it feels like it would take longer or be exhausting. However, in my experience using Dana K. White’s 5-Step No-Mess Decluttering Method, taking each item directly to its home actually prevents overwhelm and anxiety. In the 1 hour and 45 minutes, we not only decluttered but also completed tasks like putting donations in the car , recycling, and trash taken out. She was done and only made progress-no piles or extra boxes left to deal with. Adding “go-back” boxes can create an overwhelming mess, and I know that feeling of anxiety during decluttering is very real. The whole point of my video is to show that you don’t have to create a mess or overwhelm yourself to make progress. Thanks again for watching, and I’m here if you ever want to chat more about this process!

    It's hard to watch your video because you have your camera swooping and swirling spinning around and wiggling. Causes motion sickness. Otherwise your videos awesome I've been a clutterbug by Nature since I was two years old. It's hard to get rid of stuff when you think you're going to need it in the next 10 years.😅

      Oh gosh! Sorry if I made you sick. I’ll get better I promise. It’s a lot of multitasking and I’m doing it on a timer so my client’s time is respected. I have a lot to learn on the videography side but a lot to balance already 🤪

    You should have recycled the paper.

    • @ClutterFreebyChloe
      @ClutterFreebyChloe  Месяц назад +1

      @@SK-ki1te Thanks for the heads-up on recycling! I actually grabbed those papers and recycled them after filming-I just handled it off-camera. There’s definitely a lot of multitasking going on during these decluttering sessions! As the 'waste person' at the end, I make sure everything gets sorted into the right place, so nothing goes to waste. 😊
      For anyone decluttering solo without the pressure of a timer, I definitely recommend setting up a recycling station beforehand to keep things streamlined. It saves the hassle of having to dig through later like I did! 😂 Thanks again for watching and for the reminder to keep it green!

      First time watching your videos, it’s a beautiful house and not majorly cluttered but you still managed to get rid of a lot. One thing though that really concerned me was the expired pet meds appeared to be going into the trash? If that’s the case you should never ever put unused or expired medication in the trash. Pease always take them to be properly disposed of or you risk poisoning other animals or even people.
