Oil rating 5w30 C4 (we used C3)
Oil capacity 7.1 litres including filter.
Some extra info;
Engine Oil Type: 5w30 C4, or if not available then C3 minimum
Capacity: 7 litres without filter change / 7.1 litres with filter change
Thank you Luke, I’ll add the info to the description with credit 👍 unfortunately Autodata doesn’t list Infiniti info and the data I was finding on the web wasn’t reliable.
7 liters go in navara,in the qx70 only 5.4 liters
If you press the third button to the left of the dial cluster as it says oil level ok, it shows you level.
What is the size of the square sump plug please?

Hi Thierry, you’re welcome! Unfortunately I don’t recall the fuel filter location. I hope you manage to find the info you’re looking for.
It’s under underneath the car on the passenger-side wheel there is a 10mm bolt you will need to remove to see the filter

Hello ,I have the same car 2012,I wanted to ask you ,about oil intervals and oil consumption ,I have the car for 5 years,no issues ,with it,the only thing I noticed is high oil consumption, like 2 litres every 10 000km,is this normal for this engine?
mine is the same, 1,5 to 2 l but oil change at 10.000km

Hi Alexander, on diesels the oil gets black much quicker than petrols due the spot deposits in the cylinders and when you do an oil change you never actually remove all of the oil, up to 1 litre will still be in there stuck in the oil pump and galleries so short of changing the oil 3 times in a row it’ll never be like new and even if you do get it clean it won’t stay clean for long.
Hi...does anyone know why the wheel is shaking while breaking at higher speed only(over 70km)...and as well when i pass 140km/h the wheel is shaking too(this is while driving) new discs and pads 15000km ago...new tires two days ago...
I bought it used and i didn't notice that during the test drive. Its FX 3.0d 2010 with 151000km's on the clock.
Did you get your wheel alignment done when you had the tyres changed? Also may be a buckled wheel that seems to balance fine on the machine but on the car is different. I have the same problem on my V70 when I have 19s fitted.
on my 2012 fx30 ,I had to change the front brake piston seals,because it was sticking on the discs and warp them

Hi Mark, the garage I did this job at had to get the parts direct from the Infiniti dealer.

Mark, sorry I was thinking of some parts for the gearbox. The filters should be available from any motor factors such as Euro car parts or you local factors.
I'll keep looking thanks. I had the drop links changed and because of the rear wheel steering had to get the parts from the Netherlands!

@@bogdandascalu558 this car is a customer’s. I’ve driven it round the block, it seems nice, if you want a luxury Japanese car it has to be worth test driving one to see what you think.
Nice video. I have a 2013 Infiniti fx30d (3Lt turbo diesel) with 110,000 km.
Engine light came on, fault lights says “P235F-22 engine oil deteriorated”. Did have a DPF issue as well. This was the emission sensor which had too much soot. And the car went into a limp (slow) mode. Cleaning fixed it but the engine fault dash light is still on due to diluted oil. Any thoughts please? Last oil change was about 4000km ago.
@@bogdandascalu558 it is an amazing car. Power, acceleration, comfort features and surprisingly good off road. I haven’t put it through very rough terrain but it went over some big ruts quite well. Can’t comment on reliability as I’ve only had it for about a year.
